2273 Shipwatch is a second floor stunning 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom oceanside villa located in the heart of Kiawah Island’s West Beach neighborhood. This Shipwatch villa offers ocean views from the private deck as well as convenient access to the beach and the island’s top attractions.
The living area is flooded with natural light and ocean views from the floor-to-ceiling windows and glass door leading to the private deck. The comfortable sofa seating offers the perfect place to sit back and relax to watch the waves or your favorite show on the flat screen TV. Sit out on the private deck for morning coffee or afternoon reading with a view.
Just off the living area is a designated dining space with seating for four as well as a full kitchen with high-end appliances and everything you need to make a meal right from home.
The primary bedroom offers a King size bed, convenient access to the private deck with stunning ocean views, and plenty of closet space. The full bathroom is located just off the bedroom, offering a shower/tub combination.
A convenient sofa sleeper is located in the living area.
Shipwatch Villas are luxury rentals located on the beach in the heart of West Beach Village. West Beach Village is located nearest to Kiawah Island’s main gate and is situated around the Cougar Point Golf Course and Clubhouse. West Beach is Kiawah’s oldest neighborhood with meandering boardwalks, mature maritime forests and a charming, Lowcountry island vibe. There are laundry facilities available on each floor and an elevator in the building for guest convenience.
You’re an easy walk to the beach, a bike ride away from Freshfields Village, The Sanctuary Hotel, Night Heron Park and Kiawah Island’s world-class golf courses and tennis, and a short 40-minute drive to historic downtown Charleston.

Beach Access: Enjoy beach access directly from the building via Boardwalks 5 and 6.

The property is a little run down looking. Attention to cleanliness is needed. For example, long hair on bathroom sink when we arrived. The shower curtain appears moldy at the bottom. And we were sitting on the deck/balcony having a drink watching the ocean around 8pm and the neighbor right above us, dumped there cooler of ice/water over the edge and drenched us. Not the property's fault, just the inconsiderate neighbor above. Great access to the beach which was the whole purpose.

The sofa was so dirty we couldn’t sit on it. Had crumbs or something and lots of hair, animal probably. We eventually put towels down on sofa so we could sit on it. Other than that everything was clean

Perfect New Year Stay
What a wonderful way to ring in the New Year! The condo was cozy, clean, and full of morning sunshine. The ocean view from the balcony and bedroom was a welcome treat. The private beach access made it easy to reach the beach. The location was close to the entrance gates, making errands for coffee and groceries quick and simple. This was our favorite place yet at Kiawah.
