Great value, we stayed for the marathon/half marathon and this was right on the race course so it worked out well for our spectators to cheer for us while sitting in the driveway! Comfortably slept 10 with plenty of room. Clean and beautiful location.

We didn't want to leave

This house was so perfect. It was spacious with plenty of room for each person in our party of 4 to have their personal space and to hang out together without being crowded. Definitely accommodates more than 4. Roomy but cozy at the same time. Perfect access to the beach boardwalk and an easy stroll to the ocean. Want to live here! Seriously. Can we just stay here??

Many areas to sit both inside and out side. Kiawah is a beautiful island yet the alligators do give you pause especially when not used to such a reptile that large and sometimes that close. Was a beast to respect and marvel at. Will definitely stay here again.

The kitchen is very well stocked and the location is terrific. During our stay, we rented a pontoon boat from Bohicket Boat Rentals and had a great time seeing dolphins and cruising the marsh areas around Kiawah and Seabrook Islands. One thing to note is that if you are staying with young children and plan to walk or bike to the beach, you should know that there is a small section of Flyway that you will need to walk/ride along that does not have a sidewalk or bike bath alongside.

Excellent Stay

We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. We found the check-in process to be very easy/simple. Communication with the host was very efficient. We were pleasantly surprised with how well the home was furnished with Cookware, in particular. Landscaping was immaculate. Everything was in great working order, especially no issues with internet or television. Beach access was hassle free. Very close shopping and groceries at Freshfields Village. We also took advantage of the Equestrian park at Seabrook, Magnolia Plantation, King Street, a carriage ride downtown, Local art at the Open Market Downtown, excellent dining options, and wonderful sunsets on the beach. Probably one of our best VRBO stays. So thankful to have been able to stay at this property. Great job to the hosts and owners.

Backed up drain in upstairs “master” room due to sand, broken kitchen disposal button, broken trash cabinet and upstairs AC running warm. If not for the location wouldn’t really recommend.

One of the best stocked, in terms of appliances, serving pieces, tableware, etc., that we’ve had at Kiawah over several years. Very bright and open, with large rooms and ample gathering spaces for group conversations. We had a group of 7. Only downside was not having sidewalks or being near walking paths. Somewhat dangerous walking along the roadway. Would have rented for next year except pricing for 1 week then was considerably more than 2 weeks this year!

Large master bedroom with great bathroom. The gas grill was expecially nice.Unfortunately, ESPM responded to my call but never came to the house to fix the lock on a back door or a ceiling fan that appeared to be falling down in a bedroom.It would also have been good to know some bikes were available in the garage so we did not have to rent as many as we did. Overall, we had a very nice experience and appreciate the homeowners having allowed us to use their beautiful home.

The spacious and open first floor provided plenty of room for everyone to be together (cooking, reading, watching tv, working, playing games) without being on top of each other. The decor is lovely. The back deck overlooking the river/marsh was a beautiful spot to relax. We loved the location, in a quieter area with lovely homes, within easy walking/bike-riding distance to the beach. The house was very well-equipped, the only odd/frustrating exception being that there were no beach towels available (we were told this relates to the laundry service Covid requirements and that we could buy or bring towels, neither of which was a sensible option to us). We had a fabulous stay and would highly recommend the house.

Beautiful House

House was outstanding - lots of space, lots of amenities [stocked kitchen, bikes, etc], an excellent lot [beautiful landscaping w excellent porches]... however, we were not permitted to use the gas fireplace [on chilly mornings this would have been the best] and the [only] queen bed is getting old [folks tend to slide to the center]... no regrets

Family of 6 Vacation

We have vacationed in Kiawah before (been several years ago now) and our kids always loved it. Now they are grown with a husband and finance and we decided to return after celebrating our youngest's college graduation from Charleston. The home is beautiful! It is uniquely and well-built; a true custom with lots of custom features (beautiful millwork). It is decorated with love and attention. It was true to the listing in those regards, as was the well-stocked kitchen (everything you need and more, more, more). However, it was not clean! Not even close! I think the cleaning service may have changed sheets and brought in towels and that was probably it. The kitchen floor has not been mopped in a very long time. And, the kitchen stove was filthy-again, not been cleaned in a very long time. The kitchen has many many gorgeous sets of dishes, serving ware, trays, pots, pans, etc, etc, etc. but it's everywhere. It's almost too much or it should be in labeled cabinets and drawers so that renters can return items to their proper place. The main living room furniture, although very high-end and beautiful, is very worn. The carpets were in need of a good vacuum. Overall I think this house is amazing. It is just in need of a deep clean, a deep purge, and some serious organization. The house is in a great location with easy beach access. We enjoyed the quiet beach, and bike riding daily. Thanks for the beach credit with Vayk Gear. The bikes and beach cart were great. We were able to easily rent beach umbrellas and chairs from Beach Gear Rentals which drove by on the beach daily. I will add that the property management was not friendly nor responsive prior to or during our trip.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Absolutely amazing home with wonderful accommodations! We had never been to Kiawah and were not quite sure what to expect, however we are completely in love!!!! This particular home exceeded our expectations - the decor was fabulous, the house is quite large and stunning. Fantastic views of the channel with several sitings of alligators! Great outdoor seating areas as well as great indoor seating areas for multiple conversations. The kitchen is absolutely stunning and while we did enjoy several nearby restaurants we also enjoyed cooking in this professional kitchen. The bedrooms are very accommodating and in particular, the master suite is outstanding. All in all, we were very pleased with our stay. We were able to hit the beach for half a day, visit Charleston twice, spent some time at Freshfields and enjoy some quality family time. Thank you so much!

Lovely homey stay

Very nice home great for socialization with its open plan downstairs. Bit of a hike to beach though. Insufficient garbage/recycling recepticals for a weeks stay. Minimal garbage bags, detergent and dishwasher pods. I also expected clean windows to take in the great views of the lagoon and/or some cleaning supplies would have been nice but that was not the case. Our group returns annually and would consider this home or similar in the future.
