First of all door going into the room was broke. Only thing was holding the door in place was the handle didn’t even latch big gap on the door frame that you can see outside walking in the room smell smell terrible of moisture on the walls, this place didn’t even have an iron, soap or shampoo to take a shower, I got a big list of disappointing things of this place my last visit to this place.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times over past 20 years or so. I believe our last time was just after a renovation and actually was quite nice then. I do not believe it has been renovated since that time (not sure of year, maybe 2009?). The room this time was just "okay". It was fairly clean but definite signs of wear (paint chipping, water damage on bathroom floor, no shower curtain liner, TV remote didn't not work correctly, etc.). Also, contrary to amenities listed on website - no secure wifi and no breakfast available. Strangely, our room was located right next to a couple who was obviously living (or extended staying?) in their room and they even had a dog. Granted, they and their dog did not bother us. The hotel is obviously big enough such that they could have given us a room away from that. If they can manage another renovation and improve amenities, we will likely consider staying there again next time we're in Kennett.
