The hotel was very nice and accommodating. The reception staff was more than helpful. Parking outside became an issue at night due to the Library restaurant. The beds weren’t comfortable at all.
Hotel was very in a nice quiet area. We were able to walk to the main street easily. Unfortunately they were doing construction while we were there. We spoke to a woman at the front desk and she seemed unapologetic and said there was nothing that could be done about it since they were sold out. Would ...
This hotel is a quick walk from Keflavik international airport. We arrived from Italy after 1:00am and needed a place close by and easy to get to. This was it. (I did the research in advance and booked it. No other options I could find.) The staff was friendly and helpful, even at 2:00am.
I travel extensively. I just became a Million Miler with a major US air carrier. I've been told I fly more than US pilots. I have top tier hotel status with Hyatt, Hilton, Marriott and IHG chains. I'm very picky about where I stay. I didn't have much option when I stayed at this guesthouse and dreaded ...
Stayed when we had a 18 hour layover, and really appreciated the easy and free shuttle service. Would highly recommend booking one if the small cabins, they're wonderful, private and unusual in a great way. Swana the staff was great, helpful and really enjoyable to talk to.

Leaving on a jet plane? It will probably land at KEF, a major transportation hub for the area.
We (3) arrived a few hours early. After being awake for 36 hours we were disappointed to hear our room wasn't ready. First, We were directed to a room which had 2 twin beds and a sofa. Since we were so tired we decided to lay down and wait for the staff. Within a couple hours the staff appeared, converted the sofa to a compfy bed, blankets and pillows. They were very accommodating and pleasing. The room was spotless, spacious, and beds were comfortable. We will return again. Thank you!
Staff was very accomodating regarding transportation to and fron airport. Free breakfast was fine, rpom waclean and large.
Affordable, clean, convenient because of the kitchen where you can cook meals. Their free wifi is very fast and their parking space convenient. It is located 15 minutes from downtown Reujkavik, the main church to be specific. Located 30 minutes away from Keflavik airport. The owner is a really nice lady, very infortmative if you ask her questions about spots to visit. I would definitely stay at this guest house if i ever go back to Iceland. Make sure you call them before arriving to the guesthouse since their is NO keybox outside, as stated in the check in instructions. Their beds are cozzy tho, good night sleep.
Fun place to stay while going to the blue lagoon. Staff were all fun as well as efficient. Accommodate was perfect for us.
