We loved our stay here. Check in was easy, Chris is super responsive, and the location is great. Despite being a small room, it had everything that we needed, including snorkeling gear!
This studio was perfect for our stay in Kona! The check-in process was very smooth and easy, and the place was stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Chris was available whenever we needed, and he went above and beyond in his thoughtfulness to create a great experience. I will stay here again when I make it back to Kona! Highly recommend.
Chris the host was very easy to deal with, respected my privacy and was also very responsive to text messages when I needed help. The furnishings in the studio have been upgraded and were much more comfortable than the online photos. And the location could not have been better...Mahalo Chris
I loved the studio overall. There was only a microwave, toaster and coffee pot(I did have to buy coffee filters too but left them there)so I wouldn’t call that a full kitchen- didn’t seem there was a hot tub or laundry available either (the listing currently has those amenities listed on the page- though I did not go hunting around the property searching for them so they may have been available upon request) but overall it worked really well for me and I would recommend. The highlights definitely outweigh any downsides- parking was great and easy- place was very easy to find and well marked, bed very comfy, ample room in mini fridge/freezer for groceries, super cute little studio and no one talked to me or disrupted me at all! Exactly what I needed for my short focused stay for a workshop. I absolutely recommend this host and I think the price is excellent I just would not expect to cook eggs or pasta there lol
Highly recommend this place to stay in a convenient location. Very clean and comfortable. Host was friendly and communication was timely. We stayed downtown Kona last year for a much higher price so this provided great value and we found some nice places to go around Cook we missed last time. We were under the impression it had a hot tub which it did not but very happy with our stay and would definitely would make another reservation for a future stay.
We were looking for a reasonably priced place just to spend the night prior to our flight the next morning out of Kona. It met our expectations in that regard. However I would not recommend this place for an older guest. The bed was raised about 3 feet off the floor so a small ladder was attached for access. One side of the bed is up against the wall, so there is only one way in and out. Good luck if you need to get up in the middle of the night. Place was small and cramped. Bathroom wall did not extend to the ceiling, so if you turned on the light to use the toilet, the whole room was lit---I woke up my wife. The host wasn't around so I spoke to his children about how to use the TV for local programs, but they were unable to figure it out either. This room is more suited for younger renters who will be spending little time in the room.
Super clean!!! Well appointed room. Comfy bed. Abundant pillows etc. Coffe maker etc, small fridge. Cant beat the location either. Friendly host. Responsive.
