Nice hotel in the middle of Karlsruhe, Germany. Great inner yard with special kind of architecture. Excellent breakfast. Downstairs is a nice restaurant, Brauhaus Biergarten, where you can enter from inner yard. There are rooms in the main building and inner yard building. Parking garage available. Huge park with a castle nearby. Decent rooms.
I stayed 4 nights on a business trip. The room was very good, good aircondition and very clean. The madras was also fine. The architecture of the hotel is very special. Could be fun if the maintenance standard outside had been as good as in the room. I really needs to be painted and cleaned.
We recently stayed at this hotel and was treated really badly by staff and management. Stood at reception for assistance and was served only after all other guests who came in well after me were served first, when i asked the young lady at reception why this happened, she replied that she did not see me, ok you did not see me wen i was the third person there and the rest came after me? Sorry was the answer. Asked for an iron and was told ok its down there in the passage going to restaurant. I asked if i could be helped with it, answer was ; the iron stays there u can go there and iron your cloths: fine will go there. Then i asked her if they serve anything else besides beef and pork and if chicken is available, yes was the answer , please show me on the menu which one is chicken( after fumbling for a while ) it could not be found. I go and fetch a english menu come back to the lady , she tells mr Sir i worked at the restaurant snd i know that we serve chicken, ok i ask please show me because the waiter says they don’t. After a few minutes she says here Sir there it is , Thats not chicken lady its turkey , her reply was they are the same🤣. Ok i ask if there is a place close by where we could have dinner and if we needed transport to go there, her answer was ; there are lots of places find your way down the road we cannot assist with calling a taxi. Its like 20:45 so we let it pass. The next morning i spoke to the supervisor ( a lady) told her what happened etc. Her reply was we had over 100 guests yesterday checking in and the young lady might not have seen you. Really i ask we were only 3 people in the area please view your cctv camera so u can see what happen, at this point she got very angry because she started banging complaining in German. I ask her politely to speak english. She walks away. On check in my colleagues complained about the poor quality of the rooms that we had. Broken furniture , bad bedding etc etc, all this fell on deaf ears. We sent an email to the travel agent and company to get rooms changed. My room was full of insects and when i told the young lady this she told me sorry we cannot do anything about it. The rooms got changed but wow the treatment we got thereafter was appalling from the supervisor !!! ( extra was paid for room change) She made my partner checkout from the room at 11:00 and wait at reception till 15:00 to move into the new room. That was not all , i spoke to the cleaning staff and was told that the room was ready by 13:00 and could have been ready earlier if the supervisor requested it to be. On my return i went to reception to take our bags since my partner could not carry the luggage to our room, here again no help was given. Spent the night in the new room. After returning from business i walked past reception and after seen me the supervisor made remarks, how i know this is because the other staff members looked up at me and laughed. Not sure wether this was racially motivated or not because no other guest was treated like this. We travelled extensively and in all our stays we never came across this type of treatment. We actually booked out of the hotel a day earlier because a staff member tipped us about this ladies attitude and what she is capable off. One positive is that the breakfast staff were excellent!!! I can be contacted for further information
It’s hard to describe this hotel. It is a bit off. From outside it looks like normal hotel when you enter and walk to inside park you can find from odd old stuff all around to unfinished sculptures, old cars and motorbikes. I got room in old building. Room was clean and bathroom looked as it was renovated some years ago, but room was old probably from 70’. It also had strange old smell. If you are lucky you can get room with sauna or a big nice room. Breakfast was ok and staff is also kind. Hotel has big parking garage like labyrinth. Location of hotel is not bad. Too expensive for not knowing in which room you will land....
This is my thirth visit AAAA Hotelwelt Kübler. Very fast check-in and Check outs, very very friendly front desk staff, clean, interesting and tidy rooms that are suitable for every budget, very rich and quality open buffet breakfast. I feel as if I am staying in my own house. Location is quite well to vist all part of Karlsruhe. Thanks to AAAA Hotelwelt Kübler
Hotel clean enough but to expensive... Breakfast additional paid 10 euro, car park 9 euro per night, i would recommend to find other hotel with this standard for this price. One possitive thing is that hotel Has good localization, centrum of the town very close to everywere shops restaurant ...
I stay in this place before, one time due to i lost my reservation on other hotel and the other hotel forward me to this hotel, it was late at night and i got a studio room, with kitchenette, so this time we would like to try again, because the location of the hotel is really near to the city centre, a walking distance and have a parking garage. this time, i got a standard room, which is just a standard, the good thing in this hotel is the wifi is really good and really fast, the breakfast is quite a treat as well. the parking is funny, if you press the button to ring, nobody answer but when you move your car really close to the gate, the gate will open and somehow we do it every time we want to go in.
I agree in all aspects with Anton_Smith's review. The location of the hotel is excellent; walking distance to the Palace and the city centre. We stayed in the old part of the hotel, which was well worn but clean. Unable to draw up the shutters or open the windows properly and yes there was a tape player in the wall at the bedside. Breakfast was plentiful and with variety. The staff in the reception and in the cocktail bar were very pleasant. On road parking was easily available and well within walking distance. Underground parking is available for which you paid €9.00/24 hours. Beware of the road works in the town centre it can make finding the hotel a bit awkward.
Hotel is not far from city center, about 10 minutes by walk. It seems a little old, but clean, quite and accurate as everything in Germany. Almost in hotel there is a restaurant of traditional Germans food and they own beer. Breakfast offers wide differences of food and beverages. Rooms, furniture seems simple and old.
The Hotelwelt Kuebler is a very large hotel with various buildings and a big entertainment area including the Badisch Brauhaus with nice, self brewed beer. While I assume it might be awesome for a male leisure trip, it is fine but nothing special when travelling on business. The rooms are very small and rather old with single beds and TVs which might be older than me. Otherwise, however, staff are friendly and if one has time for some entertainment, the hotel can show its charm much more ...
