A very comfortable hotel in the centre of Karlovy Vary. We were a party of friends and family- three generation from baby to 73 year old. - and the hotel staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. We had organised a dinner at the hotel for ten people one night and since they had a large party booked in the restaurant they gave us a charming private dining room. The efficient waiters were particularly good natured about high chairs, fetching glasses of milk, and stepping over a baby crawling around the floor. .Rooms were newly refurbished and very comfortable . Excellent breakfast. .

I brought my daughters from Prague here for a fun mother/daughter getaway. From the time of the booking to check out, the staff was wonderful. Before we even arrived Lubos was very responsive to emails about our stay and booking our appointments at the Castle Spa. Barbara at the front desk was very helpful with local tips. The location was perfect too!

The hotel is a very quaint old hotel that is really lovely and very affordable. Right in the middle of Karlovy Vary, it's perfect for exploring the town. The rooms are charming - old fashioned and spacious and the breakfast is amazing. It's really a lovely example of a grand old spa town hotel and you feel as if you've been transported back in time.

One of the best Hotels in Karlovy Vary. The room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast was excellent! The dinner was very good and delicious. The staff was friendly. The location is great, the public spa was just next door. There is free wi-fi. You can enjoy Karlovy Vary with joy and peace of mind here.

We stayed here for 4 nights in a superior room on the 5th floor. We had a very good time at this hotel. The room was super clean with a huge bathroom. The location of this hotel is superb. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was always helpful. We also had a dinner at the hotel's restaurant and it was very good. The hotel does not have its own garage, we parked just 800 meters away in a public garage (just opposite of the Imperial Hotel). Approx 10 Euros per night. All in all, we had such a wonderful stay in here and would like to return again!

The hotel is quite cute and located directly across the street from palace spa, in the heart of town. Breakfast is excellent and the staff was very helpful. The town and this location is very photogenic and this makes a great spot to start your tour of the 15 hot springs of Karlovy Vary. The thing to do is drink from them... not delicious. Parking is challenging. The hotel has few nearby spots (make reservations!). But the staff quickly and cheerfully provided escort and a ride to and from an underground garage (extra cost). I was a bit disappointed in our "superior double room". It was kind of small and didn't have much of a view. But it was very clean and the air conditioner worked well. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Overall, a very nice stay. I don't know what the street-facing rooms with balconies are called - but I recommend investigating that option.

we struck it rich with this place in all facets of the game - excellent breakfast buffet, super room, incredible views from our balcony, perfect location. my wife had read on TA to ask for a room with a balcony. it's about $25 extra per night and well worth it. we sat outside last evening and watched the world go by below us. sure beats the view of a parking lot or someone's laundry hanging on the line. room 123 - can't go wrong. beautiful town.

Hotel Romance is just next to the 'Kolonada' in Karlovy Vary. Perfect location and the view from the front rooms is great. The rooms have a lot of space, beds are comfortable. Bathrooms could be designed bit better - we had a bathtub with curtain positioned in such a way that there was only a very narrow space left for taking shower. The other thing that surprised me where the ugly doors to the rooms - absolutely not matching the hotel style. It must be a relic of the socialistic times. Breakfasts were absolutely spectacular - great diversity of choices and all very fresh.

We come every year to this charming historic hotel in the center of town to enjoy the film festival. Service is impeccable. The breakfast buffet is easily one of the best in this area. They always put us in a nice quiet room, in the rear of the hotel. We appreciate the personalized service of Alexander and Lubos, and the entire housekeeping team. They really go out of their way to accommodate your every need and are superbly trained. We look forward to returning to the hotel romance next summer during the film festival. It's important to book your room directly through the front desk rather than a third-party service. You always get a better rate, and are treated as "family" Congratulations on the wedding of staff member Lubos this August and Happy sixth birthday to General Manager daughter. See you next summer and grateful Thanks to all.

This charmingly refurbished hotel was a wonderfully relaxing place to experience the restful pace of this spa resort. The hotel was Mere steps from Castle spa and the main colonnades housing the drinking springs. We liked our room so much we stayed an extra night. The very friendly staff helped us book treatments, train tickets, and get our bearings in the town. The town rolls up the side walks by 7, so arrive early! We would definitely stay here again!
