We really enjoyed our stay, beautiful property, I would say this is a great location to pick for those going to the island for the first time like we did, that way you are in an ideal location, pretty much in the middle of the island making it easy to visit all the spots (usually a 30 minute drive to either side of the island). There are a few negatives in my opinion, which would be that the beach is not safe for swimming (rocks everywhere), no airport shuttle (taxis/Ubers are not readily available) and their menu is not vegetarian/vegan friendly.

Spent the first 4 nights there. The pool was closed off the first night. The first night in the room we had a loud banging noise waking us up all night. They moved our room for the next night and it was good. The cocktails at the outside bar were the most expensive of our 9 days on the island and were about 4oz of liquid over the ice. The pool was shut down again on the day/night there. We moved to the resort in Princeville for our last 5 days, It was much better all around

What I loved was the staff. A huge thank you to Lissa who made our stay so wonderful. Our original room had a couple of issues and we needed to be moved. The hotel was relatively full but when lissa learned it was a very special wknd. She went out of her way to try and accommodate us. It was extremely appreciated.

Beautiful location. Very nice staff, and beautiful pool area.

The overall stay was great! perfect family hotel. I only have two suggestions. Nothing really about the good and bar were tropical, it’s an island adventure for most so tropical flavors a fruit would be nice. I was shocked my Açai bowl was covered with melons and grapes. I really was hoping for mango, papaya, coconut etc…Same with the bar drinks were very limited to tropical options. The second suggestion would be better interactive activities for kids and adults. It was so random at weird times for the extremely limited things you did. Play music at the bar and pool everyday not just on the weekend evening. Sun-Thur was very dry at the pool area. We did love our stay and would recommend the resort. The husking of the coconuts was great for the kids.Calm and very relaxing for adults, but it needs a little more active environment for those trying to enjoy the hotel amenities. Very clean and the staff is lovely.

I found the staff not overly friendly.

Nice clean and updated

Places is awesome. Food and drinks will make you broke though

Very nice hotel but it has no beach so we had to go swim somewhere else but the pool is nice and the bar is nice

Ended up here due to flight cancellation for one night. Nice pool area...got double billed for the one night by expedia/orbitz and then the hotel property when i checked in, so some unusual confusion for a Marriott property.

Very nice, clean , friendly. Thank for everything. Mahalo

We loved this property! The heated pool is incredible!! The rooms are clean and the beds and pillows are very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is delicious with a great selection. There is a happy hour with $5.00 Mai Tais. We rented a car for a few days to go to different beaches. The resort fee includes everything you need to bring to the beach. Chairs, coolers, towels, etc.. It is a great location, restaurants are within walking distance. Also you can use the bikes to get around. We will definitely go back to this hotel.

Recent renovations are nice with an infinity pool, upgraded lobby and restaurant and bar are nice. Staff is friendly and amenities are great. My wife and I were on a honeymoon and chose Thanksgiving week which we were worried about weather, however that turned out great, albeit a bit windy as expected. the beach is beautiful, but a little small and not a swimming beach because of reefs and turbulent waves and current. We chose the green housekeeping option where they clean the room every third day. Unfortunately, we didn’t have a room cleaning until the fifth day and had to order fresh towels from the front desk a few times. Parking became an issue when they had a luau party at the event tent and had to park in an unmarked area because the valet and self park areas were full. Other than those few issues and some renovations to the grounds and room areas, and no spa services (more of a family resort) it was very pleasant and would return and recommend this hotel to friends.
