Our room was a bit worn for the money we spent. But, the view was absolutely beautiful so we looked past that. Food was delicious, but pricy. Watched whales every morning from our balcony!!!

We were thoroughly impressed with the Fairmont during our stay. The staff were exceptional, consistently going above and beyond our expectations. In particular, Jasmine was incredibly helpful and made our experience even better. The property itself is beautiful and well-maintained, with landscaping staff diligently tending to the grounds. We especially appreciated the hotel’s commitment to reducing unnecessary waste, which reflects a thoughtful approach to sustainability. Additionally, the nearby reef offered excellent opportunities for swimming and snorkeling. A truly wonderful experience overall.

Very nice surroundings with beautiful views. Whales jumping and snorkeling with the fish and turtles. Loved the walks along the coast and relaxing by the beach. Bathroom tiles very slippery and need updating.

The staff is so friendly and kind. I have not yet explored the whole resort but what I have visited so far is great. The restaurant that does not require reservations has very healthy and delicious menu choices.

This is a top-tier resort property that delivers at that level on all dimensions. The staff is well-trained and pleasant throughout the property. The on-site dining options offer something for everyone, and there are many activities available without leaving the hotel. There are several fun places to have a drink, and they had a musician playing in at least one location every night. My wife found the shops very attractive. The concierge desk is well-staffed and informative, helping to set-up experiences around the island. The cove beach is perfect for safe swimming, and resort guests can also venture beyond for more challenging conditions. The fitness center is not large but had everything most of us need, and it was not crowded when I used it. Our only negative experience was our second dinner at the Beach House when they wrecked my steak, but that can happen anywhere (and they took it off of the bill without being asked). I recommend this property for anyone looking for a higher-end resort experience.

The rooms could use a little upgrade. There should be more chairs in the shade for free. All the good chairs are reserved. You shouldn’t have to pay for a shaded seat. For the cost of the room, you should get snorkel equipment for more than one hour. Other than that, I loved the property. Staff was excellent and the dining was great too.

Good not great - lots of kids

The room was amazing The property was nice but lots of kids - almost no place to escape if you don't have kids The beach didn't have umbrellas or nice chairs to lay on (those are at the pool) unless you paid hundreds of dollars extra Restaurants were okay - we mostly ate out Beautiful beach Lots of activities but you have to reserve everything and you get charged $50 if you no show (which is insane for something like water aerobics)

Hotel room was clean, roomy and beach and pool was great, especially pool was heated and could enjoy all the time. However, room prep and staff at the reception was not great. We booked with 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids) but only 3 towels sets were in the room, and shampoo/conditioner/body gel were all out of stock. We requested to bring another towel set and refill the shampoo etc, but towel set was brought almost an hour later, and no refill... Also, at the time of checkout, we were charged the food/drinks which we didn't ordered, and it took almost 20 min. to confirm and remove from our bill. And there were no any apologizes about that mistakes... I would say this hotel staff/service is not 5 star hotel, similar to 3-4 star hotel.

The most stand out thing about this Fairmont is the staff. Very friendly, polite and helpful. We were at Fairmont Mayakoba earlier this year - they need to come to Hawaii for training.
