The staff and facilities were great. Stayed for the weekend and it was hot out so the ac worked perfectly fine keeping our 4th floor room cool. There was free parking outside the hotel building.

We arrived late & left the next day so we didn't have a long experience, we were a group of 7 & the staff stored all our bags for a few hours & were very accommodating. The drink machine in the rooms were foreign to us - I didn't look in the compendium , there may have been instructions, if not some simple instructions would have been handy.

I would not recommend

The hotel was fairly clean, but I wouldn’t say very clean. The front desk clerk was not friendly or welcoming from the get-go. The area around the hotel isnt the best - you dont want to walk too far at night. The pet area attached to the hotel was closed due to a cut in the fence - although they wouldn't tell us why it was closed when we first asked, only that we couldn't use it. The pet friendly room smelled like it used to be a smoking room. The deadbolt for the room didn’t work/lock. The front counter clerk at first would not offer us another room in the hotel - he expected us to stay with an elderly person in a room that didn't properly lock on a floor that is also unlocked. He spent almost 15 minites trying to force the lock despite us telling him that 3 of us had tried it and it didnt work. It wasnt until the 3 request (tbh at this point it was a demand) to be put in another room. I had paid extra for the room - an extra bed - that was not in the 'replacement' room. The clerk said that he could not authorize a partial refund despite the final room not having the extra bed. A different clerk the next morning said that the previous clerk could have authorized the refund the prior night. I would not recommend.
