The room was clean, except for some staining on the carpets. It had everything we needed. Unfortunately, we had poor service at the front desk. We showed up early, around 1:30 and asked to check in. We travelled to many different hotels all across Alberta and BC this week, and we generally didn't have a problem checking in an hour early, but we were willing to wait. The rooms weren't ready, but instead of a polite "I'm sorry your room isn't ready" response that we were expecting, we received an unfriendly, unapologetic one. She made us feel like we were doing something wrong. We waited in the lobby for 1.5 hours and when the rooms were ready she ignored us and checked in other people first who just arrived. This hotel is inexpensive, but I can't say they have the best service.

We have stayed at this hotel twice during our travels. It is always very clean , quiet and has the most polite staff! It is close to gas and restaurants . We also love how easy it is to access the highway to Vancouver!

We visited the Holiday Inn for one night in August 17 the Hotel is situated across from a Supermarket and there is not much in relation to restaurants in walkable distance. On arriving the staff were very hospitable and the room was clean and a decent size the issues for me was that the corridors were not all that clean and tidy and for the pool there was no where to get changed nor were there lockers or anything for your clothes which was rather strange. We visited the Whitespot restaurant for breakfast and it was ok although the cutlery was dirty and so was the milk jug for the tea luckily I drink my tea black - the other issue was that there was not much flexibility in respect to Gluten free options for my wife on the menu initially but after pushing the waitress we actually got somewhere and got a reasonable Gluten free breakfast for my wife. As stated above the Holiday Inn was clean and adequate and met our needs for the one night that we stayed but nothing special.

Had an extremely pleasant check in by the lovely Melanie. Then entered a very clean large room. The bed was enormous and so so comfortable as were the abundance of assorted pillows. The rooms were quiet and well lit. There is a Whitespot restaurant and bar in the hotel which did the job for our overnight stay. There is a pool but we didn't see it. For our one night stay over it was a treasure to stay at.

The hotel is nice and clean with free parking and wifi. There is a lounge and an on-site White Spot restaurant. The free cookies and coffee at the hotel lobby is a nice touch. The room was very large relative to most hotels. Air conditioning worked really well considering it was 37 Celcius outside. This is a nice hotel on the North Shore of Kamloops. If you're looking for a place to rest near the airport, this is it.

Suite was large - 2 queens and a pull out sofa in a separate room. Relatively new property. Clean. Well maintained. Front desk staff were professional and nice - the fellow who checked us in at 6pm was there again at 7am the next morning, so he was probably a little tired but had a great attitude and a smile. Conveniently, a White Spot is located on the premises - worked well as we were only staying in transit to Vancouver and did not want to have to seek out a dinner spot. I would stay here again next time we are through Kamloops.

Located away from the centre of town and the highway, this hotel allowed us to relax before carrying on. Lots of places to eat nearby or stock up on food. Friendly staff, great bed, no issues. Pool is standard HI size - big enough to cool off and relax a bit.

We stayed at this hotel last week en route from Whistler to Calgary. We enjoyed the large room and especially the fact that the window opened. It was a very comfortable stay except that the pillows are softer than we like. This seemed to be a problem in the three Holiday Inns where we stayed this trip. It was very convenient to have the White Spot Restaurant on site for breakfast. This is one reason we chose this hotel over the Holiday Inn Express. Even though the location was away from the highway, it was quite easy to get downtown from the hotel. We definitely would choose this hotel again if in the area.

We had a good night here. The room was clean and large. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were very nice. Having a restaurant (The White Spot) in the hotel was very convenient. The only complaint is that the hotel is a long way off the Trans Canada.

We stayed here for one night to visit with family in Kamloops. The room was spacious and clean. The young lady at the front desk was very efficient and helpful. She was able to determine the exact room that we needed and got us in before official check in.
