115 The Strand Hotel and Suites

Good For The Price

Our room had a small kitchen with the utensils, dishes and a small refrigerator. Staff was very friendly but we had to order more towels a couple of days. Our beds were made but the staff didn't change our linen or clean the floors while we were out. No hair dryer or outlets in the bathroom. The hotel was within walking distance to "The Point" (the mall). Plenty of restaurants around and the food was GREAT!!

Golden Tulip Vivaldi Hotel

Good location and nice views

The hotel had great views (if willing to pay for it), and was walkable to all the bars and restaurants in St. Julian's. The wifi was horrible! Even worse were the beds, which were likely from the 90's. They were old box spring mattresses that squeak, and were very uncomfortable. The hotel needs to invest in new beds. Otherwise, the breakfast was decent and offered nice views of the sea. Also to consider, the spa does offer a decent pool (strangely the hot tub was cold and the pool was warm), but they charge to use the sauna! Due to the lackluster condition of much of the hotel, they should not charge for amenities that would make up for where they are lacking... Overall, it was a nice hotel, but I think it has a long way to go to impress potential business travelers. For the 20-30s crowd, it would be highly recommended for a fun weekend on the island due to its proximity to the nightlife (and things such as good mattresses likely wouldn't matter).

InterContinental Malta

Very centrally located hotel

I had an absolutely wonderful stay in Malta. This was a really centrally located hotel with good amenities. The overall environment within the hotel was really friendly. The concierge especially was of great help and made the travel easier.
