nice place but it didn't quite click with me. Instead of a king size bed we got a room with 2 queen beds. Although all the rooms have balconies and most of them overlook the sea and not the street, the room we got was overlooking also the access street that have 2 speed bumps in the front of out room/balcony and also a parking area under our balcony. So it was very noisy and I was looking to stay at this hotel to relax after working 6 days a week and driving daily 80-90 miles a day. I just wanted to stay away from cars, but it didn't happen. Also there was nothing for stirring the tea or the coffee in the room. The bus 14 station was next to the hotel. I liked restaurant Parango at St George Beach. Overall St Julian is far from the Floriana area. We visited the Hilton Hotel, not too far from Westin, and I think that it is more posh. The area around Hilton Hotel hotel is amazing.

Great location. Easy to walk to Spinola for dinner. Lovely pools with plenty of lounge chairs. Great towel distribution. Breakfast buffet was outstanding. So easy to order lunch at the pool.

Extremely Helpful Staff Arriving after missing a flight and being 8 hours late with no luggage is never fun, but everyone was very kind and helpful. The next morning around 6am when I asked if they would have a toothbrush, one was delivered to my door within 5 minutes. Bag arrived the next afternoon and was put in my room while I was out buying some clothes! The rest of my stay was excellent. Location is excellent, breakfast contained anything you could want, and the housekeeper made my room extremely neat and tidy daily. Concierge and Front Desk were helpful and courteous no matter what I asked for. I highly recommend.

Stayed here for a week- staff was excellent! South wing of hotel is old and worn out. Location is great- can walk to bars/ restaurants and bus stops.

Nice hotel close to the beach but the "sandy" beach is very small. It had maybe 10 deckchairs. There is a rocky beach for adults only as well that is larger (we didn't use since we were with our kids). There are two decent size pools and they are both nice. Each one had a kids pool as well. Note 1: AC in the room doesn't work unless the terrace door is closed. Note 2. Don't close the terrace door when outside the terrace otherwise you might get locked outside. We only ate by the pool, the food was "ok", and little overpriced when compared to the food that you can buy from outside the hotel. Food outside the hotel is great and cheap. Try the rabbit for a real Maltese dish. La Maltija restaurant down the street from the Hotel was great. Also, try the pastizzi, from the many pastizzerias around the islands. Traffic in Malta could be really bad. Budget on taking cabs to get from place to another. Most cab rides cost 20 Euros for 4 people. Example from Hotel to Airport, and from hotel to St Paul's bay were 20 Euros. Paceville itself is for young adults mostly and not for families especially at night. But Sliema and St. Julian's are nice with lots of restaurants and bars and playing areas for kids. You would need lots of sun cream because it's really hot every day. Great vacation overall, wish we could stay longer.

It was great! Only thing was there was construction going on to the hotel that was a little inconvenient but nothing serious.

We stayed in Gozo for 2 weeks and stayed in Malta for 2 days before our flight. The hotel is beautiful and well appointed. The restaurants are fantastic as are the facilities. My two kids had fun in the pools. There is also a beach area you can swim. My only complaint is that the air conditioning in the bedroom (we had a suite) was not working. It was only a fan - this didn't bother me as I tend to be cold, but my husband was uncomfortable. We called and they tried to fix it but it did not work while we were there. The staff were great and very responsive - I was only there 2 nights (really only one full day) so I didn't complain further, but I would have if I was staying longer. Overall, it was still a great experience at a really top notch hotel.

Very good hotel, very good staff, they just need to improve Health center.

Great hotel. Stayed here few times. Staff are great and the facilities are good. Upgrade to club level is over priced considering the rooms are not different from standard ones.

We decided to visit Malta to visit our daughter while she was finishing her study abroad there. This hotel was an excellent choice for accomodating our wishes (near transportation and attractions, able to relax and unwind and very accomodating staff. This was a great experience.
