Stayed with my Family on 7th Nov, 2017 , was upgraded to Suite as complementary gesture from hotel. Located in the Mall premises and opp to Mcdonals and location is good . Amber fort/jaigarh fort is near from this place. Wallet parking was also good. Room was nice clean big and have all amenities which you require. Breakfast buffet was widely spread. Staff was courteous and polite. i booked arond 6000 includes dinner and breakfast. Over all with family and type of hospitality you get is value for money. Reception/lobby area could have been bigger then it would be wonderful
Stayed 2 nights at the Fortune Select. Check in was easy and pleasant and the staff were professional in every respect. The room was superb with a double height ceiling and excellent facilities. All the staff were first rate until it came to breakfast. Both days were poor. Service was slow, disorganised and slovenly. Most tables were still uncleared and the table we were given on the second morning was missing cutlery. Napkins on day 2 were paper, not linen abd the staff appeared distracted or uninterested or both. We received a high level of service at this hotel, but the breakfast staff are letting down the side and undoing the excellent work of the rest of the team. Sort out the breakfast fiasco and your reputation will soar. Would I recommend this hotel? Overall, yes.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The double room was spacious and very clean. All staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious with great variety. We had our evening meals in the Zodiac restaurant (a la carte one night and buffet the next) and we were very pleased with the quality of the food and service. I think you would enjoy your stay here.
We stayed there for 2 nights and 3days(Room was booked through Chef Ajay Markan) - very comfortable bed and bedding.- There was an extensive menu to choose from at dinner. Breakfast was buffet style-- well presented and a large variety of food available, all of the good quality. I loved the rooftop swimming Pool. Everything was perfect
Wonderful experience to stay in hotel, Rooms of the hotel are well designed with comfortable beds .... Food was really very delicious, we enjoyed it throughout...specials thanks to Jogendra and team at Zodiac Restaurant as they were very helpful throughout our stay. We’ll plan our next trip soon to pink city and will be there at Fortune select ....we loved it.
We booked this hotel as we wanted somewhere nice to stay for Diwali and it was a good stay. I’m not sure if this is a 4 or 5 star property but I would give it a 3.5 if I could. But as it advertises itself as a top end hotel I am basing my review on other such hotels I have stayed at. On first impressions the building looks a bit worn from the outside, it needs a good clean and some attention to detail. The room was nice - we had a good view of the city and all the amenities you’d expect. It was clean, spacious and the beds were really comfortable. However, once again, there was a blind in the bathroom to cover the clear glass window between the bathroom and bedroom. Why do Indian hotels do this?! The blind was mouldy, the shower head shot water out the wrong way and constantly covered the blind and as a result water ran off the blind onto the end of the bath and onto the floor. We prevented this by rolling up a bath towel at the end and as a consequence had to change towels every day. Bathroom was clean. The rooftop pool was a good selling point however it is dirty. The problem is too many pigeons coming to bathe in or drink the pool water. As a result there was bird excrement by the pool side and the glass wall where the pigeons sat was covered with it also – dried up and running down the glass. You can walk along this part of the pool so I am unsure why the hotel staff did not clean this regularly, there are hotel staff manning the pool and restaurant. The service at the pool bar is excellent though and the view from the rooftop is excellent and perfect for Diwali to see the fireworks and the city come to light. As it was Diwali there was rangoli in certain communal areas however this had been scuffed and looked messy. In such a property I would have expected this to be redone and maintained but it looked like hotel staff didn’t bother. They also had performances on the fourth floor that were not advertised so no one was there to watch and listen and one night we stayed, entertainment by the pool again not advertised. If you have such items in the hotel - advertise them so your customers are aware of what’s going on. Again it looked as if no one bothered. The staff were pleasant enough, but issues we had were we were constantly woken up for room service. One morning at 08:45! I have never been anywhere where room service is that early and they hound you to get it done. We had our do not disturb sign on after that and a note was slipped through the door telling us room service was due. I do not understand what the pressure is in getting this done! It is meant to be a relaxing stay at any such hotel and the front desk should communicate better when people leave or when the room becomes available for the staff to clean. Also I needed some dry cleaning done, they could not accommodate the time frame (stayed at The Taj after and they got it done in a shorter time frame) and needed to post a letter back to London and they told me to go to the Main Post Office. Again in such star hotels I’ve stayed in, this has never been a problem and requests of this type have been fulfilled easily without any issue to the customer; not sure what the problem was here. I think the hotel is definitely overpriced for what it has to offer and not near the old city. You have to get a taxi or tuk-tuk there you cannot walk. I wouldn’t stay here again, I would look at other such properties of such a hotel class.
We stayed for 2 nights in Fortune Select. It was complete value for money. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was just awesome. Overall really good stay. It's bit far from city markets but the location is good. One can always catch a tuktuk and head to city. Recommend it to all friends and definitely we will stay there on next visit.
The most authentic stay in fortune select metropolitan. Surrounded by two malls, and very comfortable distance from most Jaipur buildings & markets. Check in was quick and efficient by friendly staff. The room was excellent, comfortable & clean. Breakfast in Zodiac was elaborate and delicious with courteous service. Dinner buffet is also tasty. Hotel staff are nice and polite. Lot of Enjoy during the stay. Highly recommend this place.
