About The Shell Seekers Retreat: The primary bedroom has a queen sized bed, a spacious closet, large dresser and TV with cable/roku/netflix access. There is also direct access to the bathroom. The second bedroom contains a full bed, with a smaller dresser and a large closet. Bathroom access is directly across the hall. With a microwave, countertop oven, coffee maker, pots, pans and dishes - the kitchen has everything that you need to enjoy a meal at home. Laundry is available on the main level. The home has 1 gig fiber internet you can access 100+ channels on YouTube TV. You can also use your Roku, Netflix or Hulu logins to watch your favorite shows on the 49-inch Smart TV.

About the location: Forest Ridge Village is a very peaceful neighborhood with a pool, tennis courts and a lot of green space. It's also just a short walk to 13 miles of white sandy beach. Amelia Island offers plenty of opportunities for bicycling, birdwatching, golf and fishing. The Egan's Creek Waterway is also a great place for a walk, where you will often see turtles, herons and alligators. At Fort Clinch State Park, you can step back into 1864 as soldiers reenact life during the Civil War. Fort Clinch also offers a six-mile multi-use trail, and 3 miles of shoreline - great for shelling and shark tooth hunting! Historic downtown Fernandina has Victorian-era architecture, a multitude of shops and every kind of restaurant that you can imagine. Enjoy some local shrimp, go on a river cruise, or just stroll with an ice cream cone and enjoy island life!

Normally, we visit in the summer and stay on the beach but since it was October staying at Forest Ridge worked just fine. The condo had a fully stocked kitchen which is rare. They had everything you would need to bake a cake or cook a meal. They even had a “junk” drawer in the kitchen with things like tape, pens and a lighter. They thought of everything. My only suggestions are fluffier pillows and instructions for the TV.

Great location to beach and downtown

House was wonderfully clean and very well stocked. Easy parking in front of condo. Loved the short walk to beachfront for sunrise walks. Enjoyed getting some sun by the pool facilities.Downtown is a quick drive away for nice visit to shops and great restaurant choices. Recommend this condo and the area, overall!

Top Notch Vacay!!

We truly loved staying at this great condo. Not only did the pix online look just like the condo when we got there, but it was even better in person. The condo was super spacious and quiet and literally a short walk to the beach (take the short cut, you'll thank me later). Not only was the condo also well prepared for your stay, but the kitchen had everything you would need if you decide to cook. Tony and his wife Peg are wonderful communicators and even reached out to us during the storm to make sure we were okay, how thoughtful. We will definitely stay here again.

Lovely! Perfect!

This is the cleanest vacation rental that we've ever stayed in! The owners really take excellent care of this property!! The condo is lovely and very comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped. The beds are super comfy. We loved that it is a very short walk to the beach. We love to surf and easily walked our boards to the beach every day. There is a nice wooden raised walkway path with a shower on the way to the beach to rinse off (and rinse boards off). The on-site pool is very nice, too. Hope to visit here again!! The owners are kind, helpful, and very responsive. I also had to work remote and the wifi is fast and reliable.

We checked in the beginning of Jan left towards the end of Feb . This is the second time we stayed here we loved the place it is clean and convenient to both our relatives who lived on the island. Tony is an excellent host . Anything you need or have questions about he is right there to help even though he doesn’t live close If we come back we will definitely inquire about his prior again

Nothing short of amazing..

We loved our stay!! The condo is even better than described.. Host was very polite and responsive, we had ZERO issues, but just some basic local knowledge questions and he responded very quick. Amenities were top notch, condo very well kept up, all appliances, etc worked great.. Honestly there was absolutely nothing about this property that wasn't top notch 5 stars.. Just a side note if you like pizza we suggest Townies Pizza 5 mins from condo. Also Cedar River seafood 3 mins away was great very downhome feel.. If you are looking... STOP and reserve this one.. Thanks you for the amazing place!

Best place we’ve stayed!

We’ve been coming to Amelia island for 4 years now and this has been our favorite experience so far! We were all impressed with the quality of the condo and the helpfulness of the hosts, and thankful that it’s so reasonably priced! It’s a nice and easy walk to the beach and very close to the pool/tennis courts. We didn’t have any real issues and the one minor thing (that was the homeowners association’s mistake not the owners’) was resolved quickly and easily. We definitely plan to book again next summer!

Incredible stay

We want to thank Tony and Peg for the opportunity to stay at their condo in Fernandina Beach. We celebrated our 33rd anniversary and had an awesome first time on Amelia Island. The owners answered many questions that we asked after booking. They are very thorough with the description of the condo. We had close walking proximity to the beach. The condo itself was clean and as many others have stated, it truly has everything you would need on a stay away from home. I can’t say enough about the accommodation. A very comfortable bed, all possible cookware/kitchenware, great location to downtown, the beach, and Fort Clinch. We are grateful for being allowed to stay at this vacation home!

Lovely Condo

Everything was spotless, organized, and convenient . The pool was very nice and never crowded and the beach a short walk away. We wished we had more time to relax in our quiet little oasis but we were visiting family for a sad occasion. The owners are great and responded very quickly to my request. The condo, beach, & town were all peaceful, relaxing & not touristy. The condo was immaculate, up to date, and well furnished with everything we needed. The beach was a short walk away & the pool was very nice too. There are plenty of good restaurants & nice shops on the island,,very few of the touristy beach shops you see in most beach towns. We like the quiet, family oriented feel that this town and condo both have & will definitely go back.

Wonderful affordable center located townhouse on fernandina beach

Wonderful property, has everything you need. Very affordable. Close to drive on beach which is important if you have young kids or elderly. There is a “walkable” beach access about 5-10 minute walk from property across street to A1A but not feasible if you have a family with young kids and lots of stuff but thankful right across the street is the main access point to drive and park on beach for free which worked wonderfully for us
