It's worth the money. I will book it again when visiting Albion College next year.

Facility in disrepair and hallway doors unlocked. No A/C in common areas

Pretty much what you would expect from a 2 star hotel. Building was a bit run down, the bathroom smelled strongly like urine, the rest of the room also smelled a little gross, they had complimentary shampoo but didn't provide conditioner which was a real bummer for someone with super long hair like me. The breakfast was two kinds of cereal, instant oatmeal packets, yogurt, and a couple different kinds of toast. I didn't go into the pool area at all. I slept well and the AC worked, so although I wouldn't want to spend time in the room, it was decent enough to sleep in.

Near the highway and the town's main commercial area.

This place is, in one word, a dump. When we entered the room, we were greeted with a rush of a combination mildew, cigarette smoke air - the room simply stunk. The furnishings are very old and tired, the TV a relic, and the bathroom fixtures barely capable of working normally. Telling, when they painted the walls, they were to lazy to take a hanging mirror off the wall and simply painted around it. I would never go back here.

the hotel is not what it is advertised at.. The contentinal breakfeast there was hardly anything to eat. Our room didn't have the proper towels that are to be in the room. There was no blankets on our beds. We never got fresh towels on Saturday or our room cleaned. The garbage was never taken out. Would never stay here again. The shower head was broken and my husband actually fixed that so we could shower. Asked for a laundry bag and the desk said we don't have them. She was rude. Also the guest staying with us had problems with there rooms for cleaning and towels.

Clerk could not find reservation and had to call in assistance. Bed rumpled and may not have been made up. Room not made up for first two days of three day stay. Breakfast not set up on first day.

Spend the extra $20 for a nicer hotel!! I traveled to albion, mi to visit family and we really just needed a place to sleep. We were driving 13 hours to get there and when we go to the hotel and tried to check in they said they didn't have my information after I gave them my confirmation # from the inn and from 3rd party even tho I called a few hours before to see if early check in would be ok. After and hour and the staff talking to the manager. They found my info which they never got from the 3rd party (3rd party which they are supposed to check daily). I booked this hotel 5 days ahead. Finally after getting to my room we found that our blankets and pillow cases were stained, luckily we brought our own. Being exhausted we tried to sleep but staff knowing how far and long we traveled they put a party of 10 kids across the hall. Needless to say we stayed 1 nite and checked out a day early. While I was packing to leave I heard the staff yelling to eachother down the hall saying 4 other people checked out early cause they were unhappy. Like I said spend the extra money for something better. I will never stay at one of these inns ever again. Dirty and unprofessional.

For the most part, the staff was helpful, but a few glitches tarnished our stay. We were unable to get clean towels, the self-serve laundry machines were inoperable and no in-room coffee maker did not meet my expectations.

The hotel room was freezing cold! The heater was only blowing out cold air. There was also no other blankets in the room. This hotel was fine for a short stay though. The staff was friendly and helpful.
