We chose the resort partly for the fitness facilities and classes. We really enjoyed the native style of the eco Gym and variety of classes! Staff was amazing, food was good, resort was clean. It is true that you shouldn’t come if you can’t do stairs! Our only disappointment was how hard the beds were.
Grounds and property could be kept up better. Like needed painting,birds eating leftover food in the buffet restaurant. There was a table at the entrance to the sleeping rooms, there were dirty drink glasses piling up for 4 days before anyone cleaned them up. Staff was friendly,pool was nice. Lots of kids. Many activities during the day.
We had a great time at the hotel. The view was gorgeous. The staff was awesome. Everyone was so nice, attentive and very professional. Only complaint I had was that there were a lot of flies, but nothing you can really do about it. Food was decent. Would recommend.
Food average every day same thing in all three buffets. Beware of the guy on the beach trying to sell you fishing trip!!!
Everything was perfect The only complaint I have is the room was not ready We arrived around 5:30 very tired & all I wanted to do was go rest Took about 2 hours to give us our room

My family of 4 stayed here last Spring Break (ages 6,7) here is a breakdown of hotel... we are from Los Angeles, travel quite a bit and are not that picky of people however we do like to be comfortable and stay places that are clean with friendly service, Hotel: A bit outdated however it is always clean, the rooms are spacious and if you have an ocean view it's beautiful and the sunsets are amazing especially if you're relaxing on your balcony. Rooms: Clean, beds comfortable and maid service impeccable, don't forget to tip Food: Typical AI, always fresh fruit, omelets, etc. at buffet, they have various theme nights which were pretty good and the a la carte restaurants are great especially The Oyster Bar, great food, service and views!! Drinks: Again, typical of AI but tasty and strong the service for both food and drinks is fantastic Beach: if you're a beach person, this hotel isn't for you. There is a beach right in front of the hotel however it's small and not that great. Walk next door to Club Med and use their beach, everyone does it. Ixtapa Island: A must see!! beautiful water, great snorkeling and inexpensive yet delicious food on island Entertainment: Pretty good, it was enough to keep us entertained and they did a great job Pools: the towel game is in effect but we always found a spot, there are several pools to choose from as well as the water park for the little ones, Always clean and very lively Kids Club: My kids went one day and had a blast, the staff is wonderful and we all felt safe. Tipping: Yes, it's all inclusive however remember the staff members bust their tail off for you 50 times more than anyone in the States usually does, so tipping here and there goes a long way and they deserve it, they're all so wonderful and always friendly!! The manager at this hotel is very kind, personable and keeps his staff in line they're all doing a great job! Enjoy
Great accommodations. Hotel and grounds are very clean and well kept up. Great children's play pool on site. Hotel is a short distance from the marina where you can get a boat to Ixtapa Island. Food was great. There are 7 restaurants on site and if you desire another you can also utilize the Azul Grand which is next door. This resort is on the side of a hill so there are a lot of stairs and incline walking. They do have elevators, sometimes out of the way to get to them though.The resort is not in the hotel zone so you have to take a taxi or the bus back to Ixtapa or Zihuatanejo. We would return to this resort in the future. We truly enjoyed ourselves.
