We had a wonderful time at The Great Escape! The condo was well prepared for our stay. My husband and I were there with our son and his family. We had plenty of room and did not feel crowded. The kitchen was well supplied with anything one would need to prepare a meal.We all loved having the mini pool on the balcony, especially our two year old grandson! Water mattresses and beach toys were provided.The air conditioner worked perfectly, although, as much as possible, we enjoyed having the sliding glass doors open for the fresh air.The restaurant at BVG is great! We ate there every day. It's open for breakfast and lunch. We also enjoyed the great restaurants in Ixtapa. You can walk to many, or ride a combi (mini bus) for Mex9.This was the second time our family has stayed at The Great Escape, and we hope to return soon.

Fully stocked kitchen, including an electric citrus juicer for freshly squeezed orange juice. Comfortable beds and couches, plenty of games and books. Individual AC controls in each room. Washer was very useful. And water service from the front desk is so helpful

Everything was excellent except how the pool staff / security applied different rules for condo owners versus guests. The guests could not bring any toys in the pool. The owners could. The guests had to wear full clothing at pool side restaurant; the owners did not.Otherwise was excellent.

The property is as pictured, spacious, clean and well appointed. The view is amazing. The plunge pool is perfect for a quick cool off and the pool downstairs is fabulous. Check in and communications were smooth and responsive. The staff at the BVG marina are so nice it’s a pleasure to vacation there.

Relaxing stay

This was out 3rd stay. The condo and the property are well cared for. The staff, from security to the front desk to the restaurant are lovely and very helpful. The team managing the condo are very responive in answering any questions. The condo location is great and adjacent to the marina which has a small sundry and also a liquor store which is an easy walk. Walking home from dinner out in Ixtapa in the evening felt very safe. Recommend spending the day at La Perla at La Ropa beach and taking the boat from Play LInda to Ixtapa island. Will return again!

Great Views!

We enjoyed the rooftop location of this condo. Sunrises were amazing - and had many whale sightings! Close to restaurants, convenience stores, the marina. Located right on beach for daily walks!

Week in paradise

Everything was great. Just a few comments 1. Door bell did not work 2. In main bedroom toilet paper holder ready to fall off. 3. Shower mat in shower to prevent slipping 4. Handicap rail for shower to support everyone. 5. Hot water heater went out, but maintenance fixed in a timely manner. 6. Would be nice to have a permanent fixture to hang towels.

Great family trip

Had aged in-laws with limited mobility stay with us. This place was great for all the family. View was incredible. We will definitely try to stay here again. Note: not a hit against property since lots of Mexican toilets are the same way but had to use plunger often on toilets.

Birthday Celebration

This penthouse is absolutely breathtaking. The property itself is amazing. From the staff at the front desk, to the restaurant staff and amenities. The staff in the administration office are very pleasant. The view from the condo balcony is gorgeous. To sit in the privacy of your own balcony pool, listening to the ocean waves, stunning. The condo has 3 bedrooms, perfect for 6 to 8 people. Property is quiet. We loved the fact that you must go there security staff to gain access to the property. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great place!

Really enjoyed the place! Very open , would be great for a family or friends. The private pool is fabulous with a great view. Very much enjoyed the location. Lovely Penthouse

We had a lovely stay in the penthouse overlooking the ocean. Ian is a super-host, and very easy to reach. It was great that he granted us an early check-in. He even got us a crib for the baby. (Thanks so much for that). It was a great help that the condo was cleaned twice a week. We are tennis lovers and enjoyed the lovely tennis court, also enjoyed the stunning swimming pool. (I have to say it is a challenge to find an umbrella and pool chairs by the pool) Would be great if Bay View Marina can find a solution to this problem. We had a fabulous stay and would love to come back in future.

Great with great views

Just my husband and I stayed here. We loved having a pool on our deck. So peaceful playing our own music and no need to find a lounge chair around the community pool. A great bonding experience with a wonderful view. And added bonus was bi-weekly pool maintenance by Felix and cleaning service by Abby included with our stay. There is an on-site restaurant but you are located within walking distance to many other restaurants and shops. If you don’t want to walk, there is easy access to taxi service.

Nice beach front apartament with terrific view

Nice apartament on the 18th floor. Full ocean view from main bedroom, terrace and pool. 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Great linens and towels. The apartment needs an update and some maintenance. Really old refrigerator with a rust stain and some bad smells from the kitchen sink. Also, they should take cleaning and sanitizing much more seriously, specially in the middle of a pandemic. Other than that, it's a good apartment to spend some time with family and friends. The building is great, beachfront, it has adult and kid's pool. A nice cafe restaurant with a really good quality.

The most magnificent view ever!

We cannot say enough about the breathtaking view from this condo. The outdoor space and pool just made our vacation. The beach was fantastic, the condo building and amenities were excellent. Highly recommend. We only wish we could’ve stayed another week or more! Next time.
