Muy limpio y amables
Staff not friendly at all. I paid an all inclusive but the room didn't even had water in the mini refrigerador. I had to call 4 tine to get water in my room. They also remove the towels aroun 10 am and not replace. I wasnt able to take a shower on my las day there. Customer service sucks.
Almost everything was great except for the food. We were there for eight days and the menu was the same every single day very poor Quality.
We are not the kind of people that like to complain, but our first room was terrible! Air conditioning was noisy and not able to keep room cool. We had 2 DOUBLE beds with uncomfortable mattresses. It was very hard to get water left for us in our refrigerator )t was supposed to be filled every day) ,along with toilet paper for the bathroom. The food was ok,but nearly all of the dishes were covered with red, green,or mole sauces. the fresh grilled fish was good tho,and was most of the other food specially prepared.
The beach the room was great only thing that would be better if they were cleaned earlier
We love it, the staff is amazing, we have been staying there , this is our 10th year, this year the food was disappointing, we have always bragged about it, and this was very bland, less variety, same over and over and quality was way down
Too old and locally populated, ok for the price. Not what I expected
Nice water show I like it ..Friendly people, I would highly recommend it.
Nice facilities but the wifi, very good on general, definitely going back next vacations, nice hotel staff
We arrived at the Tesoro at 11 am. We were informed that we could not check into our room until 3 pm and to go have lunch and relax by the pool. There were no chairs to sit in and the line for the food and bar was extremely long. We were told that there were 170 people checking out on Monday. The remainder of our stay was fine. We got good service and the food and drinks were good. This hotel has a lot of Mexican families that stay on the week-ends. My daughter and I had stayed at this hotel over New Years a couple of years ago and had a great time. I was a little disappointed with this stay. I would try it again.
Beware, sewer smells ba drains, a/c, remote, safe, shower & no hot water. Asked other quests same problems. Pool chairs taken at 6:00 am by full time quests, both pool & ocean huts. Ocean not swimmable, red & Blk flags everyday told by staff. Food was OK for 5 days then had to walk across street to restrauants. Pool snack bar horrible, ran out of food everyday. Hotel sells day passes, so tons of kids Would not recommend
Friendly staff and clean rooms, but very noisy at night with nearby disco until 3:30 AM. Air conditioning was noisy and ran consistently just to keep up but never did get very cool. Water was shut off most of an afternoon for some unknown reason. Very nice clean pool....but NO swim up bar. Once the bar opened at 11:00 service was slow to order drinks.....they need more than 2 or 3 guys working!
Room is Ok a 3, shower cold water at 7pm tasteless food, they water down everything like sour cream, nacho cheese, drinks are just cheap alcohol. Snacks were old like the pizza. Kids club no schedule activities and girl texting my son experience. Kids club and Gym odor is like mold ordor. 2 Towels got stolen from the beach chairs. I had to pay $20 each. NO FREE WIFI. Show was funny. No activities, they have a schedule but they dont do. Room was not super clean, they change the AC to high and my husband and daughter got sick. Massage down some hotels $10 compare to $120 in hotel. Check in was ok.
We have been staying at the Tesoro for 7 years, wonderful place, quiet, but yet has everything we could want.
21st year in Ixtapa so we like the weather and the area. (first time at Tesoro) Hotel is just what other reviews say (some good some bad) good staff buffet is OK (not as good as some others) sit down dinner very good (but we eat out at local and Zihu restaurants most nights) drinks not top shelf liquor, many people on weekends some rooms have been upgraded, ours was old and needed upgrading but bed was comfortable. If you're looking for a 3.5 star and above don't go there. If you can get a good rate and top notch food or drink is a must then it's OK. If the rate was great (like we had this year) we could put up with it again but we'll shop around next winter.
We spent two weeks at the Tesoro from Feb. 6th to Feb 21st. I think the staff at the hotel is amazing especially Patsy and Andrades in the dining room. Our room was on the 4th floor with a beautiful view. However this year we were next to a privately owned condo and they were smokers. Our room always smelled of smoke and that was not good as both my husband and I have sinus issues. I think the hotel was way too crowded this year and there was absolutely nothing quiet about the hotel grounds. The swimming pool should not be open as early as the start of breakfast or as late as the supper hour. There were screaming kids from sun up to sun down and no quiet ever. Also there was smoking allowed every where you walked outside on the grounds although the hotel said it was non smoking. Finally on the next to last day they made the smokers go to the farthest end of the pool after we smelled the smoke from early breakfast and lunch and supper every day. Our first year was defineately quieter and there wasn't nearly the smokers. I would suggest that the smoking issue be taken care of and also a break in the action at the pool. The locals and their children were polite most of the time but their was never a quiet moment. There was never a time to sit at the pool or use the pool due to at least 100 people and screaming children all the time. The best part of our stay this year was the view and the staff who are the best we have found in Ixtapa so far. Even though we are going to a hotel next year that is not all inclusive I would still recommend the Tesoro based on the value, the location and their wonderful staff.
