This was my second stay; I was on the executive floor with rooms in the black decor - room decor was a bit unusual- heavy black velvet curtains and wallpaper had white and gold stripes - more like bars than stripes - but it was extremely comfortable and clean ; hotel service was also good and rooms were ready on arrival ; breakfast was excellent; we had dinner at the roof top restaurant- ozou- which was average; Only problem was that there was a loud music program at the terrace restaurant till midnight and I couldn’t sleep till that got over; they should keep the volume to a level that does not disturb guests.

I was not impressed by the service of this Wyndham hotel and probably any of the Wyndham reward partners. I have few comments hotel specific and few broader to Wyndham chain as whole. Hotel specific: Those are comments when comparing similar chains (for instance Hilton where I am gold member as well). - At Hilton they would do anything they can to upgrade me to a nicer room whenever it is possible. I asked if there were upgrades available at Wyndham and they told me yes but I needed to pay 50 euros at night (although I am a platinum member) - I asked at front desk if it is possible to get at least access to lounge, which I use regularly to work. Again they told me, only available for members on executive floor Never happened anything near to this at Hilton chains. Whenever I have booked at any of the Hiltons worldwide they have always tried their best to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. Does not seem the same for Wyndham Kalamis. Wyndham specific: Nothing about this chain works! I started using Wyndham since I spend every week now in Turkey. - Every week I manually need to contact customer service in order to get my stay added to my account (their system do not work); - They claim you can link your account to Miles&Smile Turkish Airline account but they never transfer points between the two. I should have collected more than 3000 miles via my stay but none of this appear in my Turkish Airline account. From my profile on Wyndham website they show that I have received 'miles". Unfortunately those miles never hit my Miles&Smile account. You call customer service and the first thing they tell you is that you need at least 3 weeks before the miles are transferred (Why? No reason really, we are in 2017! Should be instantaneous). They just hope you will forget/do not bother them anymore. I kept chasing them. Customer service on Wyndham says "We have transferred miles onto your Turkish Airline account. If you do not see it, it's a problem on their side". You call Turkish airline customer service and they tell you "We never received anything, sorry we cannot help". So basically you are left without possibility to ever claim your points because one blames the other and viceversa (and you are in the middle). If you can and travel often, AVOID DEALING WITH WYNDHAM. Unfortunately I do not have much choice.

I stayed at the hotel in September for approximately 21 days. I liked the housekeeping and room service.Really enjoyed SPA.This hotel is for business people but not for families, cause it doesn't give the cozy,homie atmosphere

I came is Istanbul for surgery and it was a beautiful relaxing hotel. The hotel itself is very nice and clean and the rooms are also lovely and very comfortable. I took full advantage of the room service which was lovely, the staff are very friendly and polite and the food was also great. Thank you

I came to Istanbul for surgery. The day of my arrival i spended a perfect silent night with a good view in a nice room. The service was good. When i came back after surgery, they couldn't find my reservation, and i ended up in a room with 2 small beds, there is much noise from the street and from the ventilationsystem. So if possible, ask for a room away from the streets. They did everything they could to get me a different room, so i ended up iin a nice room with queen-size bed away from the street. I can recommend this hotel. The food is good and service excellent.

Last Time I was staying from 15.08. till 20.08. in this wonderfull Hotel which I am calling " My Home " . Every Time I am travelling to Istanbul I am staying in this gorgeous Hotel . I think it`s my seventh Time .

Luxury hotel nice view of marina..huge breakfast loved their gozleme kind of light thin bread stuffed with mashed potato..cheese..spinach. Loved the location of the hotel a bet far of city centre..The only thing didn't like in this hotel their service inconvenient We have booked for twin beds room they afford us double bed ..I was so annoyed such a big 5 stars hotel not available 2 twin beds that's impossible. BAD service

I had driven past this hotel a few times and know of the Wyndham brand but have never stayed in one of their many hotels. I decided to book this hotel as its on the asian side of Istanbul and we were going to be close by whilst on our summer break. I booked the hotel direct with the hotel as the type of room I wanted was not available on any hotel comparison website. I found communicating with the hotel very pleasant and they were prompt to reply to my queries/questions. Upon arrival we were greeted with a smile and very warmly, right from entry. The check-in was smooth and again very pleasant and straight forward. We were shown to our room which was a Family King Suite. The room was very bright and airy and very luxurious. The room had a small separate seating area, a big bed, separate shower and bath and also a separate small bedroom (like a box room but slightly bigger) with a flat screen TV, single bed and small desk, perfect for my 9 year old daughter. The room was clean and kept clean all 3 days we were there. They had a buffet breakfast serving hot and cold foods and variety to suit most. Seating for breakfast is in door and out with a very nice courtyard. The hotel has 2 swimming pools with towels provided, and are staffed. One is on a terrace and one near the courtyard on the ground floor. Both are a good size and clean. Overall the Wyndham Grand Istanbul Kalamis Marina Hotel is an excellent 5 Star hotel and I would very highly recommended it.

Excellent location, very nice facility and wonderful view from the rooftop bar. Nice rooms with posh bathrooms. Downside: Arrogant staff, not attentive, slow. We booked 3 rooms to stay after a wedding. I mentioned this number of times during reservation. Every other hotel would come up with a nice surprise, even just a fruit basket in the room. NOTHING. Staff is full of themselves. Especially the guys at UOZE. Suggest the Doubletree Moda.

When we arrived the hotel, we were warmly welcomed. Although our room was a standart classic one, we were upgraded by Burak, the receptionist. He is exceptionally kind. Our check-in was quite smooth, we almost did not wait at reception. The room was clean, spacious and featured bathtube. The breakfast was amazing, you could find everything from a continental breakfast to a Turkish breakfast. Derya or Demet, I cannot remember properly, is a great waitress and doing her job with her heart. Thank you for once and all <3
