Nice hotel in a good location, reasonable price

We, an "old couple" stayed here for several days for a combined sightseeing/family reunification, so our primary goals were relatively close vicinity to the main attractions like Haja Sofia, easy access to the public transport and a reasonable price. Upon check-in, initially booked "economy room" was generously upgraded to the "superior" one. Same was offered to our son who booked separately. At all times of stay the hotel personnel continuously demonstrated hospitality and proficiency. This is especially true about both receptionist named Irfan and Jusuf and also a lady who served breakfast. Room kept neat and towels were changed daily. So our best expectations came true: we had really good time in Istanbul!

Everything about the hotel was excellent. From the size and quality of the room, the quality of breakfast, speed of wifi, the courteous and friendly service, I simply could not find anything that was lacking. I recommend the hotel without any hesitation, and would stay here again on returning to Istanbul.

Brilliant hotel in a great location

We went to Istanbul for five days and stayed at the WAW Hotel. Upon check in our room was upgraded which was massively appreciated. The room was exceptionally spacious with a little kitchen sink, kettle, fridge and microwave. The bathroom had a nice walk in shower and the water pressure, which I find when holidaying can be poor, was very good. The hotel manager was super helpful as were all the staff. Breakfast was included in our stay which included hot foods as well as pastries and cereals. The location of the hotel was brilliant. 2 minute walk to the tram which takes you in to Sultanahmet for all the sights and grand bazaar only taking 10 minutes on the tram. From the hotel you can walk up to Takism Square and visit the shopping high street. The hotel was surrounded by restaurants serving amazing food and very reasonably priced. We would definitely stay here again.

Totally worth the money,had pleasant stay

First we booked the hotel for 4 days only as we were not sure but we fount us more than expectations, true value for money, well connected, 2 minutes walking distance from Tramway, 15 min walking distance from ferry terminal - Kabatas. My wife and I enjoyed our stay, staffs were very must helpful and honest.

Das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen. Es ist sehr sauber und die Lage ist top, nur 2 Minuten von der Bahnhaltestelle entfernt. Sabah und der nette Mann an der Rezeption sind die nettesten Rezeptionisten, die ich jemals kennengelernt habe. Die sind sehr hilfbereit und man fühlt sich wirklich wie zu Hause. Das Hotel bietet die Möglichkeit, sich mit dem Taxi vom Flughafen abholen zu lassen, und auch eine SIM-Karte zu einem sehr fairen Preis zu kaufen.

Check in war schon ein Problem, wir müssten ne Stunde warten bis sich jemand für uns gekümmert hat. Die Bilder im Internet haben nichts mit der Realität zutun. Null hygienisch alles in der Dusche verschimmelt. Einzig positive Standort vom Hotel. Sehr nah an Galataport.
