Short Stay in this Ritz on our way to Cappadoccia... GOOD: The Bosphorous views were wonderful and the hotel is located minutes from the luxury shopping district...I saw the most beautiful chinchilla fur coat I have ever seen in my life there! LOL :-) - Room was fantastic and the Turkish delight dessert (room service) was unforgettable! The NOT SO GOOD: - Hotel is about a 10 to 15 minute taxi ride away from the main attractions (the Blue Mosque, the Grand Bazaar etc) and about a 40 minute ride without traffic (maybe longer from the airport)
we wanted to stay here for the location and we knew that we couldn't go wrong with the ritz for a first time in istanbul. It was kind of meh. the service was good but the rest was underwhelming. the room was old and rickety, air-condition was making noise, lights weren't working. We moved to the renovated floor after a night and that was much much better albeit on a much lower floor. Will go back once the whole place is renovated.
Nothing to say more than I will definitely return back to this excellent hotel and the magic city Great great great Staff, food, luxury, excellent location I still remeber my afternoon teas at the lobby with such a great sea view A choice to remeber for life Makes your holidays perfect
About 10 minutes away from the Bosphorus but with a clear unobstructed view this is a really cool hotel. It has one of the best concierges on the city as well as a real nice staff that tender your needs hand and foot. Great hotel.

Away from the touristy area, nice quiet hotel with splendid and very helpful staff. Short walk to Taksim and Dolmabache Palace (must try cafe there). Good view of Bosphorus, overall a relaxing feel to the hotel. Taetfully decorated room with most comfortable bed and pillows experienced in a hotel yet.
I really didn’t expect to have such good service and well trained staffs!! My first experience was with front desk manager “Murat” who was so helpful and sweet that he offered me a bigger room and provided my teenagers a twin bed room that solved the problem!! He didn’t say No we’re fully booked as others! He wanted us to be happy, which we were! The breakfast was excellent and variable..staffs there are friendly and welcoming and sooo helpful!! The chef left everything and was looking for me to give me my order..the other guy insisted that he pours my Turkish tea for me.. at night when we were trying to shift bags from room to room I was so surprised to find out that there were staffs waiting for guests to help them and make sure they’re comfortable and happy!! “Adam” was so gentle and helpful and he wished us a good night sleep which we did have!! Thank you The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul and well done!
The hotel provided a sense of wellbeing. The staff creating a special, personalized experience: always was very kind and attentive. The room was spacious and with all confort for a business trip. Wonderful stay! Everything was perfect.
A great experience because our stay had a special nightly rate...well worth the money. The restaurant layout is excellent to enjoy breakfast and dinner with Bosphorus view from most tables. A great pool for the kids.
