Ramada Istanbul Grand Bazaar

4.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Location: It is located remotely in the old Istanbul City. Not located on the main street and finding it can be a little tricky. Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Cistern Basilica are at a walking distance of 1km. Grand Bazaar is approximately 500 meters away. Amenities: Ramada is known hotel worldwide with elusive chain. They have multiple hotels in Istanbul itself. They are a good 4Star hotel. Rooms are big, clean. Dinner, after a certain time, they just have Sandwich available, so it's better to stalk up or have something before midnight. Breakfast is good and has a regular variety of meals. You can request for a special Turkish tea/coffee Staff: Staff is extremely generous and helpful. They guide with places around the city as well. They speak English( which is difficult to find in Istanbul). The on-time manager was generous enough to upgrade me seeing my loyalty membership.

The staff was helpful, the room was large enough.Breakfast was good. Good wifi coverage and has complimentary sauna/hammam/gym. Hotel is well located and there are many nice places to eat nearby. We walked to the spice market and the grand bazaar. I would definitely recommend

The Hotel is average, not having any great advantage. Neither the location, nor the property. Although taxi stand is near, but everyone is aware about the taxi walas in istanbul. Travel to Tram station is also Minimum 5 Min walk. Price wise not a bad deal.

Booked a Double deluxe hotel for myself, the Mrs and my 1 year old. Upon entering we felt claustrophobic. The room was so small the door banged into the side of the bed when I opened it. Had to get an upgrade to the deluxe suite for added money. The location is nice enough. Its not in a very tourity area which is why you can observe local turkish life without being hasseled yet is within 2-30 minute walk of all the monuments such as Aya Sofia, Grandbazaar and The Blue Mosque. The breakfast was nuce but they start early and finish early(6.30 till 10am). When on holiday you like to have a late lie in but that means by the time you come down the breakfast is gone. :) Overall an OKAY place but nothing special. doesnt give you city views or a sea view. Its functional. Plain and simple. Much suited for a business traveller rather than a family.

We was booked in this hotel during our recent trip to Istanbul.Hotel was centrally located in Istanbul "old city". Hotel surrounded by many restaurant, shop houses which we like so much. It is a walking distance to the tram and metro station. The grand bazaar is about 20 mins leisure walk. The hotel is quiet new and we like our room which is clean, big and complete with all amenities. Breakfast was very good, with many food to choose from. The staff was wonderful and always ready to assist the guest. Checked in was a breeze and fast too. What we like best is the location of this hotel which is near to all major transport facilities like tram and metro line.It is easy to visit other places of interest around Istanbul using these very good public transport. We will recommend those visiting Istanbul to stay at Ramada Grand Bazaar.

I was to book Ramada in istanbul main city in sisli but mistakenly booked in grand bazar. its a good hotel but it should be the last choice of stay becoz of locality around it. its near to tram and metro stations but you will hardly see any tourist walking around. there are many cargo shops around. Hotel was overall good. not many continental/indo -pak choices of breakfast options. other than reception hotel staff knew little english. i have to struggle to make them understand what i needed. Resturant will close at 10pm. so if u are coming late from somewhere u have to bring your own hot meal to eat. i was told its forbidden to hot outside meal although he helped me but still....he said. reception desk helped me in bookings, guiding me routes and finding tram and metro stations. well as i have stayed in some better hotels in Pakistan like PC Lahore and reagent Plaza Karachi, i will give this hotel a three star rating.

Ramada grand bazaar is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.I had 500 euros stolen from my room and the management did not take any action.I advise everyone that you think 10 times before staying in this hotel.

First of all I would like to thank all of the staff especially my dear friend EMIR from the reception as he helped me in check in for my return flight Also Ali the baggage boy, catering trainees seema and farhad even the housekeeping staff Great location, near to tramway station and shahzade camii There is only one limitation which also widely distributed in this area hotels.. the room was so small 16-19 m square and it was only one elevator used by all of the guests and housekeeping ( the other one was under maintenance)

We love this market. There is looots of pretty stuff. All kinds of clothes. Various kinds of beautiful local ceramics. Knick knacks. Carpets. We bought a kilo of Turkish Delight. Bargain hard. How will you get it all home?

In general is A good location but have some problems like is very expensive and money stores worker are unfriendly people, they try to forcing you to buy something and if you don't they starting to speak with disrespect way with you in Turkish words.i see more than 6 cases when i was there .
