In general is A good location but have some problems like is very expensive and money stores worker are unfriendly people, they try to forcing you to buy something and if you don't they starting to speak with disrespect way with you in Turkish words.i see more than 6 cases when i was there .
travelling with my family we were disappointed at check- in as they split our rooms on the 1st and 5th floors, however after complaining we were upgraded to inter-leading rooms which were much more spacious and comfortable. The hotel is located in clean quiet area of Istanbul but a bit of a walk to the tram station. Breakfast was reasonable, hotel staff very friendly.
This hotel has a good relation price/quality, rooms are nice and spacious. Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very complete and has a wide variety of food. My only complaint is about cleaning staff. I arrived late night to Turkey and did not have pocket change, cleaning staff claimed for not leaving tip on the first day (though I left all other days), first time I had this situation in all my travels.
Friendly staff nice clean hotel located in a nice quiet road easy access to city centre decent breakfast Wi-fi worked well overall pleased with the hotel would recommend to families planning to visit Istanbul.
Hotel was able to accommodate my early checking and upgraded me to a bigger suite which was nice but there wasn't toiletries i.e. Shower gel/ towel available but once I notified them they brought it straight away, location was good and could walk up to main road and 20 mins further reach blue mosque , Sophia church etc. Only one or two staff members spoke good English whilst with other non English speaking staff it was hard to communicate and needed to use a lot of gestures but still were unclear . There is no real concierge and I asked them about things to do etc and they weren't very helpful with suggesting things actually they suggested nothing. So stay at this hotel if you know exactly what u want to see and how to get around. I got a street map from double tree Hilton hotel as ramada had no maps at all. Couldn't even suggest to me where I could buy a street map. The hotel surroundings were noisy i.e. Building work and one night a local decided to play a drum - usually I'd be up for that but not when it's midnight and one is trying to sleep.
I stayed three nights to attend a conference in mid October. Mr. Yücel and his team were really attentive, helpful and kind. My room was clean. The hotel is 10 minutes walk from Vezneciler and Aksaray metro stations. Recommended!
This was by far the worst Hotel stay of my life. Ramada being a 4-star hotel had 1 star service and facilities. Here are the reasons why: - There was NO AIR CONDITIONING in the hotel. The hotel concierge said that "guests feel too cold hence we stopped it". There is a perfectly good thermostat that can switch between centrally heating and cooling. We couldn't have the AC, and when I complained, they suggested using fresh air by opening the windows. The window only opens 2 inches, and there was barely any air in the suffocating room. It creating such a poor experience. On Booking.com, it says they have air conditioning, and I feel I was deceived by the hotel. I am charged for something that I didn't signed up for. I am also going to write to Ramada on this. What I feel is, the hotel tried to cheap out to save some bills. - Most of the Hotel Staff doesn't know ENGLISH. This is Ramada, an international hotel chain. Why do they have people, specially in the breakfast place, who know no english. I wasn't able to properly communicate with the chef on what type of egg I want. I wasn't able to communicate with the waiter (helpers) on whether or not they have creamers. The only people who somewhat know English are the reception desk people. - Cleaning person definitely SMOKED in our room. When we returned to our room, on 2 occasions we could smell cigarette smoke. It was either the cleaning personal or someone else who entered our room and smoked. - The breakfast had a few options, but they never changed it. After 2 days we were sick and tired of this breakfast. - The room was too tiny and overall it was a 1 star or 2 star hotel room, not a 4 star. - The staff was not so helpful with literally anything. In short, I am going to write to Ramada/Wyndam on this stay on the service and facilities of this hotel. The air conditioning situation was by far the worst thing. We need AC in mid october where weather is 25C. If some other guests are cold, they can switch to heating instead of cooling. What I feel is, the hotel tried to cheap out to save some bills. I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS HOTEL EVER AGAIN
Just back from another week in istanbul what can I say excellent hotel very clean n friendly staff on front desk even ordered us a car to get back to the airport .good location for everything to see . Weather was gorgeous. The breakfast was v good fresh n lots of choice . Will be back inshallah and to the staff thankyou so much .
The hotel rooms were on the small side but were of good quality and are fairly sound proof. It was also clean and well kept. The shower was spacious and excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast could be better. It wasn’t great and felt quite repetitive every day.
Came to this hotel with my family to stay for a few days. The location is good as it is near several tram lines and bus stops. It is also a walking distance to the grand bazaar and old city. The room and provide basic amenities but it is very clean and well kept by the service staff who provide efficient services. They are very observant to your needs in the room as they provided more coffee when they realized I didn't touch the tea bags haha. Overall, kudos to them for providing me a comfortable experience. Would recommend for anyone who is not expecting a lavish stay.
