Spend One Night to catch another connecting flight. Could not Sleep Thanks to a Wedding reception blasting loud music all Night long. It Was like Sleeping Above a Night club. How could a 5 Star Hotel be So inconsiderate. If you have a connection Flight early in the morning. I Suggest that you ask If there are any functions and loud Music is going to be Played at this hotel.
You enter the hotel, looks grand, upmarket.... Hotel reception is cold, in a word. You enter the room, bed is unbelievably hard. Bathroom is OK. Food is OK. You get almost everything, but feel something is missing, specially when you have an experience of warm hotels with good hospitality. Location and airport drop facilities are to be considered to choose the hotel. If you want to go to the main attractions of the city e.g. very rich Topkapi palace museum, the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, there are other good options. Oh yes, you can actually see and dine with the aircraft crew of your flight next morning,! Conclusion: If you are trying to sleep one night, it is OK. However, to sleep a 2nd night, you need to be as tough as a shaolin or ninja fighter. Do not expect much warmth in behavior here. Choose it, if your priority is only to catch the flight next morning....
I spent one night in this hotel. The hotel is so quiet, cosy and warm. The staff were so helpful and ready to do their best. The room was beautifully decorated, clean with all the required amenities. The hotel location is very close to the ataturk airport. I had breakfast at the hotel. The breakfast buffet included a wide range of foods from around the world with a particular attention to turkish traditions for the meal. It was unique.
Spent a night here after flying in late from Kayseri but before flying out to London the next day! Thumbs-up : location is very close to airport with free hourly airport transfer (from 05:00 to 01:30) and very good spread breakfast. By far, the nicest and widest range of breakfast we had had during our one-week stay in Turkey. Even DoubleTree Hilton SIrkeci Istanbul and InterContinental Istanbul couldn't beat their wide range of breakfast served! Thumb-down : decor is a bit dated as it was built in the late 90s but would rate it above the decor of InterContinental Istanbul.
It was clean with good breakfast but unfortunately they have many room without window to outside. And also their staff can't speak English well, in addition their reception's mans are not kind and actually they are impolite.
I stayed at this hotel for two non-consecutive nights at the beginning and at the end respectively of my 10-day trip in Turkey. This hotel was located near Istanbul airport but far away from the old town of Istanbul, so honestly it was not recommended for tourists who would like to go out again exploring the city after settling down. Compared with its trendy lobby and modern restaurant, its guest room, though spacious, well-furnished and clean, was relatively old-fashioned. However I was much impressed with its considerate concierge service, since they truly took much effort looking for a special-versioned Starbucks city mug for me that I'd requested them to pre-order before my arrival. Though the wanted one had been out of stock in the end already, I was still grateful for their diligence of inquiring of many Starbucks stores for me and constant correspondence with me about this matter. All in all, it was a great short stay for me here.
My wife and I visited Turkey on our honeymoon this month. We stayed at this hotel for two nights before heading home. At the last night, filthy brown water kept coming out while my wife was trying to use the bathroom. The experience of staying there sucked and ruined our memory of the trip.
We arrived very late. Our check n procedure was alright. The hotel has wall to wall carpet. The carpet and not sufficient AC , didn't match very well. The air circulation was mixed with the heavy smell of the carpets. The room had a cheap flower scents. Also the bathroom was not good. Because of an old fashion bathtub shower is not my preference in a hotel. I myself prefer non carpet floor which is more hygienic. The breakfast choice was not enough. No tomato or cucumber which is essential for a Turkish breakfast. The tea wasn't good. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. I would not like to stay again in this hotel because of maintenance.
We stayed here during our transit for one night. It was the perfect location- close to the airport. There was a restaurant and convenience store a stone's throw away. -There is also lots of restaurants and shopping just down the street, probably a 15 min walk. Their first airport shuttle (free) is at 5 am and we got to the airport very comfortably for our 7 am flight. The staff is very cortruous and accommodating. We were able to get a grab and go breakfast at 4.30 in the morning which was a really nice gesture. Rooms are nice and comfortable. Nice shower and bathroom. All in all we were happy with our stay and found it a value for the money we paid.
Large, well set up rooms. Short taxi ride from airport (they have a shuttle but it only runs once an hour, so not very practical on arrival - they don't tell you this in advance). I would stay here unless you're just passing through as it's away from all the interesting bits of Istanbul.
