Muyan Suites

4.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Muyan Suites has 2 major things going for it. The first is it's close walking proximity to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, and the Grand Bazaar. The second is the friendly staff. We have been back from our vacation for a few days and I already miss the staff, especially Nooran, Cemil, and Younus. They made us feel like we were home. This quant hotel is different than the major chains. It has charm and history. If u want to truely experience the historic neighborhoods of old Istanbul, then Muyan suites is for you.

Amazing location in a quiet, peaceful area that is in very close proximity (walking distance) to various attractions in Istanbul - such as Topkapi Palace, SultanAhmet (Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia), and Grand Bazaar. Also in walking distance to the train station and other transport. Near many restaurants and shops as well. Hotel staff are accommodating, friendly, and available 24/7 for assistance! They are extremely kind and hope to make your stay in the city a good experience! Highly recommend this hotel with its quaint and old fashioned decor that makes you feel at home!

It was so nice experience to stay Muyan Suite Hotel. I selected this hotel after checking the other reviews. I could be same as the reviews. The location is so nice to reach everywhere. Eventhough it is small hotel(11 rooms), it has elevator. It was important to me. Because my wife is pregnant. The staffs are so kindly and freindly. When I entered this hotel, the hotel was little bit busy. There was no problem for us. Howevere the staff tried to say sorry many times. Also he explained us many things such as recommended restaurant, sight seeing and etc. Especially when I entered my room, there was one letter with hand writing. I was suprised. I just recieved only printed welcome letters with other hotels. If I will visit Istanbul again, I will choose this hotel also.

Would definitely stay here again. Centrally located - very close to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar, etc. Great breakfast. Helpful, informative, attentive staff, particularly Okie and Taner. Beautiful room, very clean and well stocked with toiletries and beverages. 10/10 A+++

This is an average hotel, I think you can get a better hotel for the same price in a better location. On the plus side, the staff is very friendly and helpful.

centrally, clean and very comfortable rooms. nice breakfast. charming boutique hotel. very good location in the center of Istanbul near the Mezquitas and Grans bazar.

Our Muyan Suites stay was superb from start to finish. Room is sumptuous - a large bedroom plus large sitting room plus excellent bathroom with shower. Great natural daylight but soundproof against city noise. A/C worked beautifully. Location is tops. Quiet street from busy Sultanahmet but easy access to old city landmarks and to streetcar metro. We would stay there again in a minute. Breakfast was wonderful. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. A 5-star hotel at reasonable prices.

Very nice room, manager was very helpful. He provided very good directions to sites to visit, restaurants. Very nice breakfast provided.

This hotel has its positive and negatives. First, the positives: (1) The staff, especially the front desk and breakfast room staff, are very courteous and helpful, and made us feel special; we were allowed to check-in early-7:30 am; (2) Our room, which has a view of the back courtyard, is quite spacious; and (3) The hotel is walking distance to all major attractions and close to the tramway. On the not so good side, the hotel is very basic, it has the feel of a bed and breakfast. The breakfast is very basic with little variety; during our four-night stay, the offerings during breakfast did not change. Housecleaning did not change our beddings for five days. On two occasions, housecleaning took away the used towels, but did not replace with clean ones. We had to request towels after returning from sightseeing. Also, we had to request toilet soaps every evening because housekeeping did not replenish them. We did not complain about the housecleaning to the manager until when he asked us if we enjoyed our stay when we were leaving for the airport. He apologized profoundly. Overall, the home-feel environment did not compensate for the negatives; we are not likely to stay in this hotel during our next visit to Istanbul

We had a great stay at this small, but perfect hotel. We were upgraded to a very nice suite with flowers and wine. The staff was so nice and really went out of their way to make us feel so welcome. We were given a free transfer to the hotel from Ataturk Airport. We had a 0515 pickup for the airport on the last day and even though breakfast is normally not served until 0730, we were offered a meal-light as we requested. All our questions were answered as to how to get to all the sites such as the Blue Mosque, Haglia Sophia, Grand Bazaar, restaurants, etc. This hotel is situated so close to all the tourist attractions that they can all be reached by walking or by an easy tram ride (3 TL). We HIGHLY recommend this hotel and will stay there again.

Well located in the heart of Istanbul's old town. The hotel staff is unusually helpful and friendly. Breakfast is average. Rooms clean and comfortable.

My Dearest Guest Annasee T, The only reason our staff has been amazing is the fact that we have the best guests. Your heart-warming comment may our day even better and we are always here if you need anything so feel free to call us whenever you would like. I will make sure the staff gets recognition they deserve. We are all exited to have you come back again. Sending lots of love your way. Sending our best wishes, Hotel Manager Cemil Hacioglu
