every thing is excellent . i would like to go back again it is in good location and the staff are great and helpful . the breakfast is good. it is clean and good for family. very good hotel i recommended it
On the + side, the area is nice, with loads of small local restaurant, and possibilities to go for a walk in the evening. The hotel is "reasonably" quiet and decently priced. The staff was helpful and responded quickly by email. Transfer to the airport worked fine, but the it is probably easy to get a better deal (I was told that is was 45 Euro one way when I arrived. When I left, this was changed to 100 TL - 25Euro...) On the - side, I will not go back to this hotel for 2 reasons: 1. No gym, or any kind of facilities. 2. More importantly: the bathroom was not clean. There was a bad smell (urine) and when I left for my meeting, I asked the reception to get it cleaned. They told me that they would "send an email...". When I returned, the room was done but the bathroom was still as bad. The hair left on the sink suggested that they do not pay much attention when cleaning (not mine - I am bald!!!)
The hotel has a fantastic location as it is a minute's walk from Taksim Square. The famous walking Istikbal Street with its 24x7 restaurants, bars and nightlife is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Overall, the stay was pleasant. The room I was in was neat and clean albeit a little small with a view of the surrounding buildings. The staff are friendly and will answer your questions too. A few tips while in Istanbul: - Avoid anyone trying to make conversation with you by asking you where you came from, if you wanted to go to a bar, etc. These conversations will most likely end up in the person coaxing money from you. - Avoid buying anything off the people on the street (perfumes, tissues, socks, etc.) These people will surely rip you off by selling something that is worthless at a very high price. This doesn't apply to the carts selling food and drinks. - Don't order anything in a restaurant unless you have double checked the price. Some restaurants either don't have a menu at all, or have it in the Turkish language.
Me and my family had been in the Midtown Hotel for four nights last week and the room and hotel were very comfortable. Only the bath towel was very old, which was not very suitable for the hotel. Excellent breakfast and access to the Taksim Square and Metro Very well, I recommend this hotel to my friends.
breakfast choices are considered small compared to other hotels, some of the staff are rude, when we arrived we carried our bags to the room. during our visit, we had a visitor to our room because my brother was sick, so the reception called us telling us that we can't have visitor to the room so we said that we need 5min. after 6min the security came to our room and we started argumenting with them... also the pillows are not comfortable at all. I really don't recommend this hotel
The breakfast is very good and many sort and the location is in the center of taksim area l hope i get bettet price offer for My stat in tjis hotel .the prices for Rooms daily become higher because the summer coming
the location is splendid, the faces are always smiling Midtown hotel will be my stay during my next visit to Istanbul close to the major happenings easy access to other parts of the city missing a window view was not a big issue, especially that our room stay was not very long
It was nice trip , the check in was very perfect , the room was nice , clean , comfort , but noisy due to resturants near by Location in middle of taksim was very great The breakfast was not so nice , most of bakery was not fresh .
THE RECEPTION STAFF WERE VERY ACCOMADATING and welcoming initially and the breakfast buffet waas good too. The only problem was when i checked out i had a lot of luggage to carry to the bus stand requested for help the hotel reception said there is no other staff i feel they can put another staff to help the guests with their luggage as there is road works going on in front of the hotel.
Located at perfect place Very friendly and helpful staff, breakfast is good, bathroom and towels need some changes, Staff Offering good tour packages but you need to ask them to apply their special packages price around 30% to 50% less.
