Traveled to Istanbul on business in October 2015 and stayed at this great place. Excellent location, very clean and spacious room, comfy bed. Great breakfast and really friendly staff. Plenty of restaurant and bars around, just around the corner from Taksim Square.
Good location near the Taksim square. The front lobby was nearly strict and not fancy. The room we had was good cleaned every day. Fantastic breakfast was offered every morning. Al the people at the hotel as well as the cleaning people was showing a happy face al the time. At there front disk where they helpful to find good restaurangs for us.
This hotel is close to Taksim Square and is surrounded by restaurants and shops open until midnight. With a 5-minute walk to the beginning of the Istiklal Road, which is one of the most important tourist centers in Istanbul. So the location of this hotel is great. The rooms, corridors and restaurant of the hotel were very clean, and the hotel's daily grooming services were organized regularly. Only the dirty thing I saw was the presence of hair in the breakfast toaster. Of course, the breakfast menu is almost complete. During the time of our stay, the air was cold at night and the room heating system was not activated, and given the fact that we had a young child, it was a matter of our concern and we had to sleep with warm clothes and even a jacket. Other weak services was lack of toothbrush, toothpicks and shaving gel in the bathroom.
you can find it near the taksim square , it is very close to metro station and bus stops . clean rooms with polite staffs . but depends on what you want from a hotel in istanbul . if you want to near taksim and istiklal st. and receive to other neighborhoods like sisli besitkas and karakoy . just one thing , you can not find great view from rooms .
I stayed at midtown for three nights. it was clean and staffs was very polite.breakfast was good but We didn't have variety of choices. it's near to Taksim square but it's so quite. when we checked in there, the front desk clerk deposited 200 lira.
If you are a single gay or gay couple, this hotel is not for you. They are not gay friendly, and they make fun of you from your back. They dont let two guys staying in the same room. There are many gay friendly hotels in the neighborhood since it is Taksim Square and gays are everywhere.
Although the reception behavior was owful, other staff like restaurant and housekeeping were well trained. All the areas were clean and well organized and the location were one of the best regarding public transportation systems.
two nights business trip , not easy to find this hotel ,but the staff and quality is realy ok . many restaurantes around this area ,important street to make shooping and gastrunomy . you must be cleaver enought to pay your bills in any places because they always looking to sub charge the bills.
Nice hotel with perfect location. The breakfast was very good. The stuff must be more helpfull. (when we came to hotel nobody welcome us we put our bags in the reception). The room was good and clean.
I recommend midtown hotel and thank you for this superior service, well organized staff very clean rooms and perfect breakfast. The location of Midtown hotel is perfect since its a walking distance from the Metro Station and Taksim Square meaning everything that a person needs is in or near by the hotel. Thank you
