We were in 1bdr apartment in the building J, in March, 5 nights only, few steps from the beach. Very spacious, huge balcony, full kitchen with big fridge, microwave. Four people can fit easily, as the king bed in the bedroom was actually two beds put together. And there is a big sofa in the living room. As we were on 3rd floor having refreshing sea breeze and amazing beach view, we did not mind non working AC in the living room, the one in the bedroom worked great. Perfect location, secluded beach, 24 hrs beach/hotel security, great restaurant directly on the beach. We red unfavorable reviews about the hotel, which is the 3 story building above the reception, some rooms facing the entrance and parking lot. The rooms there are cheaper, but is worth to pay more for nice condo closer to the beach and further from a busy street. Very nice people, great, clean pool area.WIFI only in the reception area. Only problem was with the main door, it did not stay closed - unless you lock it with the key. With one key per apt., you can not leave without locking other person in. Anyway, we would love to come back to this same condominium complex.

Not so great. Beautiful beach but hotel was sub par. Only one ceiling fan worked. Air conditioner did not work all the time and when it did it spewed water all over the tile causing very slippery floors. The staff tried but so many things were wrong.

Staff here is nice and pleasant, love to be right on the beach. Unfortunately i took several cold showers because hot water was not working. Love to be 5 minutes from the grocery store and other shopping center +ATM by car, walking is about 15 minutes.

If you want a clean and safe place to stay in Negril, Negril Beach Club is the place. It's just the basics, but the beach is the best on 7 mile. Staff is friendly and the restaurant on he beach serves up the best breakfast. Wi-Fi signal needs improvement. Each room has a balcony or patio which is nice to just chill. Close to Bourbon Beach, Times Square Mall and all sorts of delicious and fun restaurants. Make sure you check out Alfred's on Friday night's! Can't wait for my next trip to Negril!

The Beach Club is a basic hotel in a great location. Nothing fancy but clean. Fantastic world class beach set back to give you lots of beach. Many hotels on this beach have a small strip of sand. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great location near the downtown area. For the price, a great value. This was my first visit to Negril in 30 years. I stayed here last time.

Ok hotel for price. Needs some work to update. The bar area was fun with the bartenders and also best price for Red Stripe in the beach.

True this resort could use some new renovations but overall it is a nice hotel for the price. The only draw back would be that the beds are not that comfortable and they don't change the sheets everyday. The beaches are gorgeous and the staff is very friendly. Shopping and eating are within walking distance so I would definitely stay again.

For a budget traveler, I would recommend this hotel. The beach is small, but beautiful. The restaurant does not have an extensive menu, but the food is excellent. Amenities are bare bones, but the staff can finagle any site-seeing excursion you desire. If you like nice resorts, this is not the place for you. But if you only need the bare minimum, this is a good choice. Bring mosquito repellent!

Good Value, we paid $60 for four people. the beach is great. the rooms haven't been updated in many years. there are many cats around. the grounds and landscaping is beautiful. staff is friendly. old and rooms are in need of many repairs and updating.

Hotel very run down and in need of desperate repairs and updating. We eventually settled for the 3rd room that was showed to us and this granted was an upgrade to a larger room. Our 1st reaction, however was looking for another hotel online. We heard numerous complaints regarding the condition of rooms and lack of working amenities. Good location on beach, nice restaurant and bar with friendly staff however these are run separate from hotel.

I LOVE NEGRIL, THISWAS MY THIRD TIME THERE, MY THIRD STAY AT NEGRIL BEACH CLUB. I CAME ALONG THIS TIME AND STILL HAD A GREAT TIME AND GOT SOME MUCH NEEDED REST. WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT THIS LOCATION IS THE BEACH IS JUST A FEW FEET AWAY FROM MY ROOM, AND I CAN WALK INTO TOWN IN ABOUT 15MIN. THE STAFF IS GREAT AND PRETTY FRIENDLY.

I stayed in two different rooms my vacation, the first room had two baths, a kitchen, a sitting area. It was ok but here and there things could use some maintaince. The second room they moved me into after a week was worse. There was always a funny smell in the bathroom. The chain from the door was broken, i had to tell them twice to fix it, got fix after 3 days. The beach area was great, just did not like that they only clean of the leaves and not the cigarettes out the sand. There is alot of kids playing there! They cleaned everyday but sheets where not change even when dirty.

Location is ideal, right on the beach. Staff were friendly.

The appearance and amenities are some of the worst that I have seen. The hotel needs a full renovation, the appliances need to be replaced, (refrigerator, microwave, stove). The room was not cleaned some days and when it was done it left me wondering if the staff understand what clean means.

I always stay at NBCC when I go to Negril and its the best location on the beach for the price. I really love how this hotel gives you the real Jamaican vibe along with the vacation perks. I always stay in the studio room and its spacious and has everything you need to feel at home during your stay. The hotel is ideal for singles or groups of friends. I wouldn't suggest this property to families with kids. The best thing about this hotel is the prime location on the Negril beach strip! Walking distance to the heart of Negril. Close to shops restaurants, bars etc. The best budget friendly hotel right on the beach!

For what I paid ($38+tax+fees) it was exactly as I expected. Hideously uncomfortable bed but everything else was OK. Right on the beach and there is a nice little restaurant that was about 15 meters from my room. I needed a cheap place to stay in Negril Beach and this particular spot fit the bill nicely.

Hotel was ok, leaves something to be desired, but it was worth the money.

Let me tell you the truth people. I swear that they took a picture of somewhere nice and place it on the internet. I was fooled and yes you would be too. i walked into the room and the smell was killing. I think that they could have paint the walls change the blankets and do a better job with updating the furnitures, and cleaning the toiletts too. Wow i guess you get what you pay for. this place was a dump and need some assesment fast. not even a working phone in the room in case of an EME. no microwave, iron nothing.

The hotel was ok for the most part...there were alot of problems with ants and roaches in our shower. Housekeeping never really bought us anything except if we asked and that was it. I really did not stay in my room for the most part of my trip...I visited Ricks Cafe which was so amazing and also partied alot...

Taken back at first. looked dirty and run down, but really just needs a coat of paint. Our room was bigger than a normal motel. Nice garden and the staff was good. Lingah By the Sea restaurant was good and reasonable. Maid service everyday, clean towels. good AC and 19" TV, our phone didn't work. Take your own beach towels none provided. We take the cheap $2.00 floats from Wal Mart and give them away when we leave. It's a great place to float, the swimming area is safe and roped off from the jet skis and boats. We swam out with our masks on the floats beyond the dark spots which are grass outside the ropes and found dozens of giant starfish, some 12"s across. It's a long swim don't do it if you are not a good swimmer, it's about 20' deep. There are 2 shops in the motel, one is small with cold drinks, beer and snacks run by the motel and the other has souvenirs, liquor, towels ice cream and snacks privately owned. Beach is nice and kept clean by [...]plenty of chairs and shade under the almond trees. The bar is ok, when the younger bartenders are working the music is too loud, but we found this the case at other smaller motels we stayed in there also. They turned it down when we asked them to. Close to town 1/2 mile. Be sure to get patties from the patty man on the beach for $1.00 - $2.00, I like the beef. Don't expect to use the hot tub, I was told it hasn't worked in years. The grounds are well maintained I guess for the Time share guests. They get the nicer beach condos. We were in rooms that backed up toward the beach but the beach was blocked by the garden area. We sat on our patio and played cards in the evening when it rained. We had a group of cats and kittens hanging out by our patio. Good place if you are like us and spend 90% of your time on the beach and not in your room. Go to Ys falls if you want a day trip but it's a hour and a half taxi ride, we paid $100 for 2. Good cool water, lots of scenery and a zip line over the falls. Guides there will help you and take pictures of you. Tips welcome. You will be approached by lots of locals on the beach selling everything from necklaces to pot. Just tell them no thanks and move on unless you want to buy something. Free to look, they are just trying to make a living and most are ok.Lots of fresh fruit sold too. The best thing I like about Jamaica is the temperature, pretty much a high of 85 everyday all year and 60% humidity. Very laid back, No problem, Yea Man.
