Diabetes, the staff was very friendly and professional, and very accommodating and helpful. The room was clean. The restaurant was a great. And it was walkable distance to a lot of restaurants stuck a lot of tower even going across the phosphorus to the bazaars and mosques. It was such a great time and their communication was amazing.

I recently stayed at Merodi La Porta in Istanbul’s Galata neighborhood with my cousin, and we had such a wonderful experience. The location was one of the best parts of our stay — the hotel is very close to the Galata Tower and within walking distance to so many of the places we wanted to visit, explore, and eat around Istanbul. It made getting around the city really easy and enjoyable. We also felt very safe throughout our stay, which was important to us as travelers. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always helpful whenever we needed anything. Another highlight was the breakfast that was included with our stay. It was absolutely delicious with a great variety of fresh options every morning — honestly one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend Merodi La Porta to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located stay in the Galata area.

A perfect location in my fav city, just a few metres off the galata drag so it's still quiet snd calm, while being in the middle of the action. The breakfast is abundant, healthy, with a fantastic view. The staff here really go above and beyond to accommodate and be helpful. Some of the most genuine and kind people I have ever met. I recommend the airport transfer, about 10 euro more than a regular taxi, but worth at least upon arrival for a smoother experience.

Ideal location for young people/couples to stay. The city was busy, the views around were good plus good restaurant options - walkable distance from tram to get to anywhere you’d want to go in Istanbul. The staff was super friendly, especially Sevgi from guest relations was super helpful and catering. Greeted me and my partner with amazing decor and postcards with complimentary refreshments. Awesome customer service

We had an awesome stay in this hotel. Thanks to Reha in the front desk who went above and beyond in customer service in our 3 night stay. On our last day, he helped me and my wife dragged our luggage to the end of the street because the taxi cannot enter the street at that time. Breakfast is delicious and the view from the restaurant at the 5th floor is beautiful.

Our room was spacious and clean. The hotel is around the block from the Tower, which is nice and quiet. The tower area is vibrant and fun to be at night. A lot of restaurants, cafes and shops. We felt safe in the area. To get to the hotel we had be dropped off at the tower and walk to the hotel. It’s down an ally, the ally was dark and not clean, so it felt sketchy. At the end we liked being off the main road.
