we joined a meeting in one of the ballrooms and had lunch on 18th floor restaurant. Chairs in the restaurant were dirty, lack of tea cups in the ballroom, no cleaning during breaks, low food quality at the restaurant and bad service overall. We instructed our PR dept not to organize any meetings at this Hotel anymore
Two years ago when I arrived at this hall, I stayed for five days and was a good hotel, but this time there were many problems, especially breakfast and room service. For example, there was no spoon for breakfast or there was no clean table, and often it was not Portugal's water. Or the specialty of jams was not often. We booked a three-person room, but we saw two beds, we went to the reception, and then added a non-quality bed that was very rigid and bad, even for that extra bed, pillows, and also a cup and glass cabinet Which washed out to rinse again, and we should have called several times.
Business visit so no need to go to the centre of the city. Lobby staff friendly and helpful. Room modern style and comfortable. Good shower which is good for me. Italian restaurant in lobby very good. Many restaurants in the local area. The big let down for me was breakfast. Staff every morning were miserable. No smiles!!!! Breakfast items not being replenished. Overall a good hotel for the money
We stayed for one week at the hotel. The staff were really nice, we had clean big rooms, divert and delicious breakfast, fast room service and most important graet Bosphorus View. They even brought me cake as it was my birthday during my stay. Definitely will repeat it soon
This hotel is so dirty that we felt disgusted and changed hotels after 3 days. The room we were first shown to had revolting multi-layered stains all over the couch and on the bedclothes. The sofa cushion looked like someone had vomited on it. I couldnt sit down anywhere because every surface was disgusting. The bathroom was filthy, even the doors and handles were filthy. We asked if they could please put us in another room, which they did, but it wasnt much better. The windows were so dirty that the view was affected, and every surface was smeared and stained. The staff at breakfast were rude and unhelpful and make you feel like you are annoying them if you ask them for anything. The hotel staff in general NEVER smile. It really upset us because as Australians we are a really friendly family and smile at everyone, but we only received cold blank faces back at us. The food was tasteless and very slow - one day I waited half an hour and STILL did not receive my coffee. I left without it and went across the road to buy one. The cups were dirty and the fabric seats at the breakfast tables were covered in stains, some so bad that we had to go to several tables before we could find one we'd feel OK about sitting down on. We had our kids with us so the video game centre "The Game" was something that attracted us to the hotel, but this was also extremely disappointing. Half the video games didnt work, the equipment was broken, the bar in there is unmanned (you have to search all over to find a staff member to come and open it to get you a drink, and even then they dont really know how to make any drinks). They have an extensive Cocktail list displayed on the bar, so I ordered one but after several baffled exchanges they told me cocktails were no longer available as they dont know how to make any of them, and they couldnt give me any wine because they hadnt put it in the fridge yet. I was stunned. The indoor pool area was not too bad, but the staff there were again very rude and seemed bothered by us asking politely for a towel. The only good thing about the hotel was that they didnt charge us a cancellation fee when we left early and changed to another hotel. A thoroughly disappointing and disgusting experience.
This is the third time that I have traveled to Istanbul.two years ago we chose this hotel for accommodation.we became surprised by any things at hotel so we choose it for the second time!but this time ,something are changed!the hotel is getting old.it was not shiny, the rugs become dirty and old.the ironing facility is gone!the breakfast isn't as good as last time.the speed of internet is going slow.the area around the hotel is crowded.and they didn't bring us birth day cake like first time.but like that time the staff are so kind and sweet 😉As I said in the future the point Hotel will not my first choice for booking in Istanbul
Nice and confortable hotel at good rate. Rooms are quiet with enjoable beds and well eqipped bathrooms. The hotel has an excellent fitness center with nice swimmingpool and also an Italian restaurant cooking tasty pizzas and pastas. The breakfast food selection is large and of quality. I recommend this hotel
1.in the check in , the reception was without smile 2.A person who guide me to the room after shwoing me the room knocked the door very bad becuse of money , and i noticed him for his bad behavior 3.the breakfast is not bad but after 3 days it becomes booring and some staff was too muddy to service gusts in breakfast 4.the view of restaurant is wonderfull 5.During 4 days they did not recharge the soap 6.The cleanness of room was not bad but in some parts of bed and wall i saw mud 7.I did not use play room and i have no idea about it 8.in checkout the reception after checking of the system just said ok !! Without any smile and asking for the quality of the service or my satisfaction In conclusion the hotel position in the city is very good but unfortunately the staff are not polite , i never suggest this hotel to my friends !
Nice hotel & nice room with pleasant staff. The room was comfortable, and good size. Maybe there should have been 2 different hardness of pillows on the bed instead of having all the same type. The hotel staff at the front desk were very helpful & friendly.
The rooms are nice and generally its a great hotel, let down by poor customer service. I was checking out the hotel at 7:30 am for a full day of business meetings. So I ordered breakfast in my room for 7:00am. I rang room service at 7:10 am to find out why it hadn't been delivered and after some discussion they found my breakfast request and told me it would be with me in 30 minutes at 7:45am. Not much good to me. I had to leave the hotel without breakfast. I asked at checkout at 7:30am if I could speak to a manager, and was told no, because no manager starts work till 9:00am. Nobody at reception even bothered to ask if I'd enjoyed my stay or had any problems. The previous night I had asked for an iron to be sent up to my room. After an hour waiting I gave up as I had to meet clients in a ruffled shirt. Shame because it is a lovely hotel.
