location is fab, rooms are quite small and a little shabby but overall it was fine. the staff are fantastic, very friendly and professional. i would stay here again because of location, breakfast was fine too !
All round poor service. Rooms too small.. Location good. Reception staff not to be trusted. (JAN). Reception front desk staff member, tried to rip us off, by over charging at time of arrival me...Was rude & argumentative during our stay Not to be recommended
We visited in June 2016, for mine & my son's birthday. It was my second time in Istanbul. This hotel is situated next to the blue mosque so is ideal for sightseeing as most are on your doorstep, walking distance. Our airport transfers were booked by email with Jon, receptionist and was perfect. Staff here are excellent, especially barish and Jon. We arrived there about midnight and our flight meal was missed so we hadn't had our dinner, barish went online & phoned several places to order us some dinner as most places close about midnight as it's an historic area. Barish & Jon always were helpful and friendly and made our birthdays good. Islam was also great but we only saw him once or twice due to his shift. The staff helped us with advice re travel & shopping and also called us a cab. Rooms are clean and adequate, we had 1 double bed and 1 single bed as was a family room. It had air conditioning and a window. The breakfast was simple but nice, the pastries were very nice. Good restaurants on the same road & near by. Also walking distance to arasta bazaar which is very friendly, better atmosphere than the grand bazzar but much smaller. Would stay at this hotel again & would recommend it, excellent service & great location!!!!! Great price aswel, booked with ebookers.
Very bad experience with staff and hotel condition, very dirty and filthy. please if you have children and looking for a good hotel stay away from this one they are very rude and not very help full at all. they made me and my family hire a private taxi to take back to the airport as they said the shuttle left 1 hour early than confirmed. They forgot to mention they don't follow the rest of the world time they have there own time that no one follows. Instead of helping us the stud they have working for them jon was very rude saying its not my fault is yours. Very unprofessional they had our contact no, they could have contacted us if the shuttle came 1 hour earlier, but no they got paid so why should they act professional. I'm sure they have a deal with taxi firms.
Super friendly staff. Soo helping and polite. They suggested us different cheap places for shopping... different tour packages and yummmy yet reasonable resturants near sulamaniye mosque with beautiful terrace view. Breakfast buffet was awesome. We had a great time here
We were pleasantly amazed with the hotel. The location is not only good, but excellent. The rooms are obviously elaborated by designers. Everything is in white and lilac tone, very clear and snug. The reseption is interconnected with the dining room where they serve breakfast. The reseptionists Barish and Jon both know English and Russian, they are doing great and provide very positive impression. Well done guys. Andrey
Me and my family visited Istanbul for the first time and Istanbul holiday hotel is a great place to stay. They have a friendly group of staff! Who always help out and look out for any of your needs. The rooms are great too with all your essential needs required for- couldn't ask for more and they do a good job of cleaning, as its a very tidy and neat hotel. The breakfast buffet is also very satisfying and kept us going till lunch time! Plus the location is amazing!! It tops it all off as everything is within walking distance- 5 mins from the blue mosque and everything else around!
I have got to especially mention that although this hotel was not great it was cheap and basic but the real stars are the staff. The two concierge Ingene (probably no spelt right) and Muhammad absolute diamonds. Booked a room for 2 and seen as the room wasn't ready gave us 2 single rooms which was great! Secondly brother dropped his mobile in the taxi from the airport and assumed it was lost. Ingene rang the depot and Ayub (taxi driver) returned it 45 minutes later - Islam and humanity exists. Very nice people, great support and made the stay memorable where the hotel wasn't!!
hotel location is good & staff are helpful. hotel location is good to near the blue mosque, bazar, & food. breakfast was average, i didnt try food. i recommend who looking budget hotel for short stay.
Had a great time at Istanbul Holiday Hotel! Everything is really fine, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the bathroom is always perfect and the hotel is placed in an amazing place, calm but near to the Blue Mosque and all the other beautiful places in Istanbul. I stayed there three days with my mother and my boyfriend, the staff is incredibly nice and breakfast is really nice! I totally think you should come here for your holiday in Istanbul!
