This boutique style property has it all, great staff, friendly atmosphere, a hearty breakfast, comfortible common spaces, with a stylish cosmopolitan feel. The rooms are not palatial, but they are comfortible. They have very good restaurant recommendations, and can arrange anything for you to do while you are in Istanbul. Drinks on the roof terrace, tea and cake in the afternoon. This is my second visit and I will return again.
Everyone in this hotel is smiling, helping the customer. I forgot my phone with the taxi they did everything to find the driver to bring me my phone and they were successful the room is clean, quiet.the hotel has a good roof, you can see the sea. The only thing I did not like the knife at this hotel is not able to cut an apple or orange. I like this hotel and highly recommended.
I love this place! I've stayed there twice now, once on my own and once with my wife. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, the rooms are cosy, and the location is amazing, just a block from the Hippodrome and the Blue Mosque, on a quiet street. The view of the Blue Mosque and the Bosporus from the rooftop terrace is amazing! When my travels bring me back to Istanbul, this is where I will stay.
This boutique-type hotel is so good it's hard not to keep it a secret. The perfect location in Sultanahmet, beautiful well equipped room and wonderful staff all round. Breakfast is delicious and varied and from the roof top bar you can virtually reach out and touch the Blue Mosque. Vast array of reading material in comfortable, cleverly designed seating areas on ground floor. Oh yes and spotlessly clean and the staff know everything there is to know about Istanbul and beyond.
We had a wonderful four-day stay, and everything about the hotel was terrific. Every staff member was friendly and helpful in every interaction, including making great recommendations and arranging transport/tickets and providing water/coffee/breakfast and generally making us feel comfortable and very welcome. The location was perfect for our first visit to Istanbul--a short walk to nearly all major must-see destinations (and an easy tram ride from the others). The rooftop bar was a great hangout spot between activities and at the end of the day. Accommodations were quite comfortable (we had a deluxe double; it was spacious and well-appointed and had its own little balcony). Truly wonderful and we can't wait for our next visit!
A stylish small hotel close in an old fashioned building close to the Hippodrome and Blue Mosque. There is a small rooftop bar with a good view of the Blue Mosque. The room was comfortable and had a small private balcony. The staff are very friendly and helpful and arranged my airport transfers without difficulty. The breakfast included is a simple but well presented Turkish breakfast.
Fabulous hotel in the heart of Sultanhamet. Easy to walk to Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia. Just a block from tram line. We had a beautiful room with a little deck and patio. Modern updated and very comfortable. I also loved their sitting areas on the main floor. Old world style with leather couches that made you just want to curl up with a cup of tea and one of the many books they had. The rooftop terrace has a fabulous view of the Blue Mosque and the Bosphorus Sea. We enjoyed several nights on the terrace. One night the hotel ordered Pizza for us and we enjoyed that on the terrace. Breakfast was also delicious with a wide variety of choices including lots of homemade Turkish dishes. The staff could not have been more helpful and hospitable. This was our second stay. We definitely plan to go back on our next trip to Istanbul!
We spent 4 nights at the Ibrahim Pasha. It was just right for what we needed. Great location in sultanahmet close to many of the major historic landmarks including the Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Roman Cistern, Bazar and Topkapi Palace amongst others. Other districts of Istanbul can be easily reached by walking, taxi or public transport from the hotel. The hotel itself was just right for us, accessible, good size rooms (we had a deluxe double) and a nice rooftop terrace with views across the city. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They arranged a cot for our small child (the room had decent space to fit a small cot without making it too cramped) and we're happy to advise on and book local attractions. A great base if you're spending a few days exploring Istanbul.
We stayed 2 adorable days at Ibrahim Pasha Hotel and everything was perfect! the room was comfortable, stylish and very clean... the location was very close to monuments of Blue Mosk, Haya Sofia and Top Kapi. .. the staff of hotel was very pleasant and willing to help on everything....I recommend this beautiful boutique hotel to everyone wants to visit Istanbul. ....we will be there again very soon...!!!
Ideally located for all the sights around Sultanahmet. Very short walk to the tram for sights that are further away. We booked a deluxe room which was worth the extra cost. All the staff were really lovely & ensured we had a comfortable stay. The views from the roof top bar were amazing, even in October we sat & enjoyed a drink & the view before the sun went down. Plenty of choice at breakfast. Complimentary fruit & water in the room & tea/coffee provided whenever you want. Would definitely recommend staying here.
