The hotel is fine, just couple of remarks, it's pretty steep to go to Sultanahmet because hotel is way downhill.. The restaurant breakfast buffet is very very poor not compared to other hotels I usually stayed in Istanbul.

First impression is the location, situated in the Sultanahmet neighborhood on 10 minutes walking from Hagia Sophia church and Sultan Ahmet Mosque, modest but clean rooms, with good restaurant serving local and mediteranian food. Very pleasent staff. For big cities such as Istanbul is, I think it's a good choice so you could at least reduce some of your costs for visiting all the touristic attractions.

A very good located hotel, you could find a few restaurants for lunch and dinner. Just 5 blocks from Blue Mosque. Nice room, toilet and attention. About breakfast, in my opinion, fresh juice, omelette are missed.

I was sent to this hotel after flight problems with Turkish airways. The hotel is situated within walking distance from the important attractions. The staff was smiley and friendly. The room I stayed was clean but a bit old, dark (no proper lighting if you want to study or use your computer) and without the typical facilities (iron, kettle, a proper hairdryer, etc). In my opinion the room didn't correspond to a 4 star hotel room. The breakfast was poor. Lunch and dinner were also poor and with no great food but this may be due to the amount paid from Turkish airlines to feed us.

We were put in the Grand Yavuz due to a Turkish Airlines Flight cancellation caused by heavy snow. The rooms are clean and nice with comfortable bed, good internet, and TV. The staff is friendly and helpful and the set menu meals provided by the airline were fine. Breakfast is a typical Turkish buffet bkfst which had a good variety and was delicious. It's close to the sites in Sultanahmet but the snow and ice during our stay cramped our sightseeing. The staff is multilingual.

My sister and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights at the end of our 8 day Tour of Turkey, we decided to extend out your by 2 nights to have some extra leisure time in Istanbul since there is so much to see and explore in this beautiful city. the hotel is located about 10 minute walk from the nearest tram, rooms and bathroom were clean a bit spacious, breakfast was average since it was a typical Turkish breakfast I would say continental only and no European breakfast but it was ok just to get something into your belly! the service was good, but all of Istanbul is hussle and bussle and noisy no getting away from that! would definitely recommend this hotel as its average and value for money and clean.

We were provided this hotel due to a missed flight connection. The hotel is clean and is currently going through a refurb and we were in one of the updated rooms that were basic but comfortable. There were no family rooms therefore the 4 of us were split over 2 rooms. The local area is not pretty however it is within easy walking distance to the blue mosque and other attractions.

A great hotel in the center of istanbul with frendly staff, nice and good rooms (with great bathrooms) and very clean.A 4 star hotel with very good breakfast ,spa, gym and souvenir shop.Very close to AgiaSophia(10 minutes walking) and grand bazzar(15 minutes walking). You can find a better hotel but in this one value for money is great.

This is a mid-size hotel in downtown Istanbul, on a narrow, very noisy street. The common areas have old furniture and carpeting, and badly need some revamping. My room also needed upgrading, was OK sizewise, but I couldn't sleep all night because the AC only worked as a fan, with 34°C temperature and 70% humidity rate! All in all, a very unpleasant experience. There are far better options in Sultanahmet at comparable prices.

I have stay over flight so turkish airlines pay for the hotel with shuttle, the hotel is right in the heart of istanbul witch is very convenient to me better than an hotel near the airport then I have to take transportation to center city(time and money involved) plus they let me check out at 3 pm and my flight at 6h30 pm so i took advantage sightseeing for the last minute the hotel it self is good I can rate it 3 star and half due to the old equipment the room have like old small tv,breakfast is average not what i was expecting
