This unfortunately has to be our worst hotel experience to date. We were initially booked for 7 days but cancelled after day 1 as it was such a poor experience. First room we were placed in wouldn’t lock and had shared balcony with the room next door, not to mention the sink not working. We were told by what seemed to be the maintenance guy that we’d have to wait until the next day as they were fully booked to move yet the man on reception offered us another room when we went downstairs. The second room had a horrible smell to it (not that the first smelt any better) and to our disbelief someone had used the toilet and left it in such a disgusting state including marks and stains all over. The shower door was broken so when showering we literally had a flooded toilet that flowed into the bedroom as they are so close together. There is also a club downstairs that’s opened until ungodly hours of the night and you will hear it blasting music and men shouting or quite possibly just talking to each other really loud after the club is closed. I also woke up to some insect bites/stings which may have come from the bed or somewhere in the room I’m not really sure. All in all I would really think twice before staying here as the pictures are also really deceptive. The hotel needs a lot of work and improvements done as soon as possible if they are to compete with the surrounding hotels nearby. Such a shame as the location is good in terms of tram and metro.

Just don’t book her especially if your looking at the family room, very hot room ac wasn’t cooling. I complained and no solution, asked for an iron none were available the elevator situation is a disaster. Left my stay 3 days early. Definitely wouldn’t recommend

Looks cool but go somewhere else

The room smelled like chlorine or bleach, the mini fridge didn't get cold and smelled like rotten fish, the housekeeper didn't remove or replace the dirty coffee cups after cleaning, there were strange black dirty spots on the shower floor, the air conditioner worked but the screen itself was broken so you couldn't control the temperature, we were 2 people but only given 1 key, the "hot" food at breakfast was room temperature except for the soup, none of the guests we saw enjoyed the breakfast or coffee. The room itself had strange rules I'd never seen at other hotels, like no outside food allowed and no doing laundry in the room. Airbnb advertized a deluxe room with soundproofing, balcony, minibar, free water bottles etc and I paid for it but got none of those features. We could hear every noise from our neighbors including their toilet, tv, phone calls, and we could hear people walking in the hallway outside. Additionally the hotel is near a few mosques so you hear loud mosque singing as late as around 11pm and as early as around 6am. The reception desk service was great and the location is great if you want to visit mosques or go shopping. The hotel does look like the photos. A lot of the staff doesn't speak English.

Bad experience!

I had the flu the first day I arrived. I paid for 5 nights. Staff was friendly and welcoming. After arriving to the room, there was only one roll of toilet paper with no additional napkins or Kleenex. I called the front desk and asked if they can bring up some toilet paper because I’m all out. An hour later I called again and still no one showed up. Adding to that situation walls are so thin I can hear everything happening outside the room. People next door had music on loud until 2am, sounded like they were having a party. Finally, I was able to sleep after it got quite. The same neighbors woke up at 8am and blasted the music again. After having to deal with all this I decided to leave the hotel that morning. Will never go back again!

Location was good. Just a few minutes walk to transit stations, food and shopping. It is noisy, rooms are small too, but that's to be expected in a busy area. I am not a breakfast person, but there seemed to be quite a variety of choices. Although their base rate is for 2 people, and I had requested 2 twin beds instead of a full bed because my sister was joining me, they never replied to my message, and charged her €40 more when she got there first, then refused to give me a receipt for it. I have seen reviews from other people mentioning they have been charged more, but I didn't think it was a habit! They supposedly clean rooms everyday, but you could still see hair on the floor when you get back, they might just fold your towel and put it back on the rack instead of changing it and not give you an extra toilet paper roll. The refrigerator wasn't working. I mentioned it the first morning there. They said, they will take care of it but never did. There is no hot water sometimes. There is mold in the bathroom, and we even had water leak into the bedroom when we took showers. I would not recommend this place to anybody and would certainly never go back there again!

Nice hotel

We stayed 3 nights. Slept well, the bed was comfortable and street noises died down by about midnight. They have a lovely breakfast buffet! Truly enticing! The hotel is attractive and clean. There were a few little glitches like the shower spraying all over but nothing out of expectations. We enjoyed the neighborhood but it might not be for everyone. It is very close to a tram stop (less than a block). We would stay again!

Rooms are not exactly what you see in the picture.

One of the worst experiences with the room ever. Staff was nice but the room and hotel location were horrible. First room was by the street and so noisy and loud which we were not able to sleep. After that, we moved to another room on the first floor with no window and like a dungeon which you feel like you were in a jail. The location of the hotel was good near the main city and close to everywhere but the rooms were awful. It is probably good for a couple. Sorry, not be able to recommend it to two friends, brothers or solo. I tried to change our hotel but the hotel would not give my money back for the remaining days and had to suffer throughout the trip.
