The hotel is boutique style with art everywhere. You really do feel like you are living within a gallery. The staff was excellent. The room decor was modern and cozy. Breakfast was very light, it could use a bit more variety, but it was satisfactory. I've stayed in Istanbul several times, at other boutique hotels and major hotels. This by far was my best experience.
We have stayed at Gallery Residence last year as well. Therefore I decided to stay at this hotel this year. It has the best personnel you could find in Istanbul hotels. We loved our stay in August! The staff is very kind, helpful and welcoming. Special thanks to Mr Mateen, Mr Ufuk, Mr Gokhan at reception and Mrs Elchin at kitchen/restaurant! You have done your best to make our stay comfortable, fun and happy. I would reccomend Gallery Residence Hotel to everyone who is looking for comfort, hospitality, high quality, proximity to central Istanbul, major shopping boutiques, restaurants, entertainments and etc. I am looking to return there again and again very soon. Thank you again for everything and see you soon! Best regards,
Well located and good value for money, but the accommodation is certainly in need of improvement. My friend and I stayed in the twin suite which was pretty spacious but the bathroom door didn't offer much privacy, the tub leaked water out onto the floor, and the curtain rod at the foot of our beds actually collapsed on us as we were leaving. It was nice to have breakfast included but we found that the items were not really being restocked (even with 30-45 minutes of breakfast service to go) and plates were not cleared in time for new rounds of guests to be seated. That being said though, staff were friendly and offered us some tips on things to do and see in town. The hotel is a short walk from the metro station so it's easy to get around.
A cosy little boutique hotel with a great location. At the right end of a small street that leads to the sophisticated residential and shopping area of Nişantaşı, full of great cafes, restaurants and bars. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned every day, sheets towels, changed. The only problem with the room I stayed in was that it didn't provide enough daylight, overlooking an alley surrounded by other block of flats. Mine was called a junior suite, I think, on the first floor. Maybe the rooms on the higher floors receive more daylight. The price included breakfast which I normally don't have. I did visit the restaurant one day to see the selection. It was good, with a variety of choices on drinks, grains, cheeses, cold meats, vegetables and fruit. It was a comfortable stay in a safe place. Though the room seemed cramped with a king-size bed occupying most of the space, I enjoyed my stay there. The electric kettle, the mini-bar and fridge, the safe, an ironing board and iron were much appreciated additions. The bathroom is modern, the shower cabinet a little cramped, though fitted with modern fixtures and plumbing. I would definitely go back and stay there, though I'd be happier in a room with more daylight and air.
Very nice hotel with an excellent top location. Everything is in walking distance. Metro station is only approx. 200 m away. The staff is very nice and has an ear for requests. Staff at breakfast room is very nice and breakfast is tasty. For sure will be recommending this hotel to my friends and book again when next time in Istanbul!
Very clean, central, nice stuff and breakfast, rooms are large with good amenities Wasy access to taksim by foot or bus, bus station across the street, supermarket opposite open until late hours, nice experience
I was in Istanbul for business and really enjoyed my stay at the Gallery Residence. The location is great. Right in the heart of the Nişantaşı district with great shopping and restaurants and parks. The room is well set up with kitchen, sitting area and all conveniences. The staff and friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.
The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. I was the first person to use the new suite on the very top floor, there was a small, narrow balcony which had great views over the rooftops of the city. Unfortunately there was no DVD player in the room as stated in the hotel info and this was not provided even when it was mentioned on the first morning. As the room had a well equipped kitchenette a small amount of tea, coffee etc would have been appreciated. The hotel was extremely hot in all areas and being on the top floor it was extremely hot, the heater was on all the time so luckily there was an air con unit in the 2nd bedroom which was great. Overall this was a lovely hotel and I would return and recommend to others.
Very good boutique hotel. Hot climate, home feeling. Large and modern rooms. Clean rooms. Very good breakfast. Helpful and semphatic staff. Great location at one of modern neighbourhoods of the city. Many cafes, restaurants and bars around. Quiet street. Lots of stores and shopping centers around. Very near metro station.
the staff were very helpful and they were speaking in english, arabic & turkish and it's a very important point. otherwise, the location of the hotel and the free internet and the breakfast, it's all positive points. thanks a lot. I will always choose this hotel in future.
