Excellent friendly hotel, perfect location

I stayed 3 nights at the Black Art hotel, the staff who work there are so helpful and friendly, the room i stayed in was very comfortable, and the breakfast was super. It is around a 10 minute walk to the main Taksim area, this means it is quiet at night and you don't hear the noise from the busy Taksim area. The hotel is excellent value for money, I'll be stayig there again when i return to Istanbul next year. Thank you Black Art hotel!!

The rooms are in excellent condition, the staff are extremely helpful and they go above and beyond to make sure all guests are content. The hotel is about 10-14 mins walking distance away from Taksim. It’s in a good location about 15 mins drive from nisantasi and other ferry piers. Good quality breakfast. Complimentary drinks throughout the day in the lounge area. You won’t regret it!

my extreme disappointment and dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your establishment. I had made a reservation for a king-size suite room for four persons from [29 july 2023] to [01 August 2023] under the reservation reference number [55251989]. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet the standards that were advertised and expected. Upon my arrival on [29 july 2023], I was shocked to discover that the room I was assigned did not match the specifications I had booked and was promised in the booking confirmation. Instead of the king-size bed and an extra bed, the room contained a double bed and a single sofa bed. This left our group with a missing bed, causing significant inconvenience and discomfort throughout our stay. Furthermore, the air conditioning in the room was not functioning at all during the first two nights of our stay. Despite my attempts to contact the front desk and address the issue, the AC remained inoperative. It was only on the third day, late at night, that an electrician was sent to fix the AC unit. This prolonged lack of basic amenities significantly marred our experience and made our stay extremely uncomfortable, especially considering the sweltering weather. I believe that as a guest, I have the right to expect a comfortable and accurate accommodation that aligns with the reservation I made and the promises outlined in the booking confirmation. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of this expectation, and it has left deeply dissatisfied.

Can’t be worse

I wish I could give them 0 or maybe less. Super filthy room, no elevator, unsafest location in Istanbul. Photos of the hotel are unrealistic. Breakfast can’t be worse. Literally awful. I stayed for 1 night but they charged me for 4 nights and never refund me. Since I reserved it for 4 nights initially but due to reasons that I have mentioned I cancelled that but they didn’t refund me. Never ever recommended whatsoever. If you would like to loss your money choose this garbage.

A good hotel

I had a great stay at this funky little hotel. The rooms have modern decor and illuminated signs in room that are pretty cool. The staff are friendly and always try to help, a big thank you to the manager Baris who speaks good English and assists guests. This is a family business hotel and they are trying hard to please guests. The rooms are clean and have tv air con and it was a bargain last minute price for me so i will stay here again. It is in a good area by the foot of Taxim but is at the bottom of a steep hill. I recommend staying here.
