Beautiful hotel, very well located, close to the main attractions, clean, the staff very friendly, especially Ali, Erkan and Erol, the breakfast very tasty, just a little detail on the bathroom door, does not close correctly. In general everything very well.

Lovely hotel. Clean and tidy. Very friendely staff. Very central área, close to principal turism atraction. Walking distante. Reception staff nice and polite. Special cumpliment to the front desk staff called Ali Tusun that gave all the information we need with atention nas care.

I have been to so many different countries and have always made it a point to be acquainted with locals to maximise my travel experience. When I visited Istanbul, it was the first time I was blessed with a wonderful human being whom I can call a brother even today, so far away in singapore. Ali Tosun, the receptionist is one of the most genuine and sincere person I have ever met in my entire life. He went to great lengths to ensure that my stay in Istanbul was one of the most endearing experiences ever in my life. I had some trouble being scammed over in the Taksim area. He went to great lengths to accompany me to the police station beyond his working hours, despite being exhausted from the day's shift, and even accompanied us with the Istanbul police to apprehend the perpetrators. He was indignant that there were nefarious characters who defile the image of his beloved Istanbul, and that some people would think that friends of his were easy pickings for cash. Upon my arrival from my mid trip getaway to Izmir, I contracted a bad case of food poisoning. Ali Tosun made the effort of calling his mother to ask for home remedies and concocted it himself at the cafe nearby at no additional charge. Despite it being the worst case of food poisoning I. Have ever experienced, I got well after consuming the remedy followed by a solid 8 hours rest. That timely intervention spared us the need to go to the hospital and salvaged our trip. Being an avid traveller, I am well aware that there are shady characters in all parts of the world. But is people like Ali Tosun who we remember our travels by, not the bad characters that appear every where there are gullible foreigners like me. Thank you my brother. I hope to see you again soon.

Short-stay: just under a week. The Hotel's location and its staff are the best selling points. Would like to commend Ali, Feroz and the other gentleman for providing very friendly customer service. In addition, they answered any queries I had regarding excursions and trips. Only negatives were to do with the room. A bulb was not working and the duvet in the room was slightly worn. Overall 8/10.

Good hotel in location , staff and cleaness. The staff very friendly and specially Ali. it's close to the blue mosque topkapi palace grand bazaar basilica cistern Benazit and spice bazaar we will come back

Antics is tucked away in the old part of Istanbul, some of which is very shabby, but also charming. The railway is very close as in a minaret, which meanss there is noise at certain times of the day. The first room we were given was small, dark and overlooked the railway. We changed rooms! The manager was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was very disappointing, sometimes there was nothing I found appetizing. The location of the hotel was very good , and, although on a steep hill was in walking distance of the major sites. There were several good and reasonably priced restaurants nearby and a little shop right opposite the the hotel.

The hotel is great , in both location and design, it’s location is good because it’s close to the sea as it is only a walking distance and also the design is classical. There staff is great both in attendance and in there manners. They are very helpful and wonderful. There’s one person there named Ali which is very very very helpful and can be very humorous. I would wish to come back again and visit the staff and the hotel the next time in the country. Ali himself even helped me to find things that I couldn’t do myself because of the language barriers.

I have just spent a week at this hotel. The staff were helpful, the rooms were clean bright and spacious. The bed was large and comfortable. The breakfast was good. The minor downpoints were its proximity to a mosque ( so an early morning wake up call ) and a sparcely used railway line ( so a few rumbles in the night). It also sits on a very steep slope so I would question its suitability For anyone not able bodied. Having said this I would recomend it as a comortable place to stay in the historic district,

Amazing hotel excellent location right behind blue mosque and few minutes walk to topcapi museum all within walking distance. Ali on service desk was a gentleman. Rooms were very clean. The chef Aziz made delicious breakfast daily. Feroz looked after us at all times. Manager Erkan was very polite, addressed all queries immediately and was indeed very helpful. will definitely visit this hotel again. highly recommended hotel

We selected this hotel based on its proximity to the major tourist sites and were not disappointed. Everything was in a 15-minute walking range, which was excellent. The staff was always friendly and helpful. What was awesome though was that we flew in on a ridiculously early flight, and they led us to access our room quite a bit before the official check-in time (since it was ready and free at the time). This is so appreciated! There is nothing I hate more than wandering around a city smelly and jet-lagged... The room itself was simple and functional, there was a fridge we could put our water in which was nice! The bed was a little on the hard side to my taste but we slept quite well. Now light sleepers please note that there is a train track right beside the hotel as well as a tower that projects the daily prayers. After the 2nd night we were sleeping soundly through both but if you were a light sleeper I could see this being an issue. Also good to note is that there are 2 tiny convenience stores quite close to the hotel, as well as some super tasty restaurants and a tiny bazaar that has a very cool café in it.
