The best thing about our stay in this hotel is the great friendly staff, very helpful and cooperative to everything we asked for. Big thanks to everyone! Good location, walking distance to Blue Mosque, and nearby restaurants.
perfect location in Sultanment, 3 minutes walk to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia and beside restaurants, travel agencies, stores. View from the room is amazing. My side was the Marmara sea. Staff are nice but sometimes confused. I tried to extend my stay and I already talked to one front office staff then when I went to pay, they said they did not know about it (?)...it got resolved but I hope they will pay attention.
We arrived at the Antis hotel tired after a long taxi ride from sabiha airport (although i suspect the taxi driver was going in circles- tip: prebook your transfer) It is in a small narrow street but when we entered we were warmly welcomed by Ercan(?) and although there was a problem with our booking (that was not the hotels fault) he immediately offered us a room to rest in and then sort things out. Our stay was a pleasurable one and we would definitely consider staying there again. The staff were extremely kind and friendly, always willing to help and very courteous. The rooms were exaclty as shown in the photos, clean and spacious; with daily cleaning and toiletries. The hotel offered a traditional turkish breakfast of hot drinks, cold meats, breads, jams, salad items, cheese and some warm items. Although the hotel is in a quiet narrow street, it is extremely close to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace and the Sultanahmet tram stop. We traveled with two children (youngest 6 yrs) and we walked everywhere or took the tram. Overall, i definitely recommend staying here if what you're after is a clean, warm, comfortable room with good wifi that is close to all the top tourist attractions. A special thank you to sezer (?) too for the Istanbulkart. thanks
You will love this hotel. It has perfect location in beautiful, old and authentic Sultan Ahmet area. Rooms are clean and quite, stuff is great, always ready to help. I will come back again in this hotel for sure.
Very good hotel we were enjoying nice and very clean good location near by blue mosqe And great Turkish breakfast such great place Definitely we will back this hotel again Good hotel good staff Thank you for everyone
It was my first time in Istanbul and i loved the city but the hotel wasn't good at all the behavior of staff was very poor and breakfast didn't have any variety and rooms was very small it like you're in a cage but it does have one good point and it's in a good location of Istanbul
My boyfriend surprised me with a trip to Istanbul for Valentines Feb 2016 , and to date this is the most amasing city ive ever visted. Such amasing culture. This hotel was fantastic, right from check-in we were welcomed with traditional tea, while the concerige sat with us and talked us through an easy to follow map, and recommended things to do in the area. It was a great personal service and welcome. This is a small, boutique hotel, beautifully decorated. The dining room for breakfast is lovely, and they had a fantastic selection for breakfast. Our room was beside the railway track, so sometimes you will hear this, but it wasnt enough to bother us. Also, you will be awoken in the morning to the sound of morning prayers, but again, it didnt really disturb me, I found it a nice addition to our experience. Its a fantastic location in the old town, you are within walking distance to all the attractions including the Blue Mosque. I would highy recommend this hotel. If you want bigger and more luxurious you should be looking at staying in the city - but I think if you really want to experience culture you should be staying here in the old town.
- very central location. 8 minutes walk to blue mosque, 3 more minutes to tram station. - breakfast is rather basic - very friendly service - rooms are nice and clean. Not a lot of storage space though. The train lines are right behind the hotel so night trains might wake you up if you are on 1st floor. They are not very fast but still annoying. - the restaurants and shops around here are very overpriced and not very good in my opinion. But the grand bazaar is only 2 tram stops away and has very good fast food restaurants and great shops. Overall I would recommend this place because of its location and competetive price.
This hotel has beautiful views and is in an excellent location, it is very easy to walk to so many of the major attractions and to the tram stops. We had wonderful views from our room on the top floor. The room was very well presented and the bed comfortable. The staff were very pleasant to deal with and helpful, arranged the car to the airport for us and gave helpful advice. The breakfast was basic and ran out very early, one day we were just after 8am and just about everything was gone, including the coffee and juice and most of the food choices, but it was adequate even if it just some bread and cheese. All in all we were very happy with this hotel, we ended up here after the original hotel we had booked canceled our booking at the last minute, and we were pleased they did in the end as we think this was probably the better choice - we were very happy with our room.
Being my 4th visit to Istanbul unfortunately a last minute booking meant I couldnt get my usual hotel (Arden City Hotel) and from pictures and price decided to go with Antis Hotel. VERY BIG MISTAKE! On arrival no greetings or help with luggage. Further rooms booked were not available and they spilt the family over 3 floors. Asked for information or assistance and the answer was 'dont know!'. Breakfast was very limited and most of the time stale and cold. I would STRONGLY avoid this hotel. Paying £30-£40 more is worthwhile for hotels which are close to Hagia Sophia than the headache the staff at Hotel Antis will give you!! And yes we had a large booking for 8 people and this is how they treated their customers. My personal recommendation is Arden City Hotel. Pleasant and VERY helpful staff, high quality service and breakfast is a great variety.
