Beautiful beachfront home

Our family enjoyed staying in this home. It’s on the beach which is very convenient with kids. The house has plenty of room. Bathrooms and kitchen are updated. It has a lot of beach character. Owners communicated quickly. Check in and out was extremely easy. We love staying at wild dunes. We could walk to the amenities by the hotel. The house is very close to the beach bar and pools. We will be back!

Family beach trip

The house was everything we could have wanted. Our group of 12 ranged in age from 1 to 78. The place was comfortable, spacious enough for everyone to have privacy, kitchen was extremely well stocked with equipment. Beautiful house right on a wonderful wide area of the beach. The area is densely populated so you do look right over at your neighbors. And parking is a slight nuisance - four cars all in a row so we had to play musical cars every time someone wanted to go somewhere. That was - no kidding - the only negative at all.

Relaxing week convenient to everything

We enjoyed the 4 king bedrooms each having their own en-suite. The room with bunk beds also had its own bathroom but our 3 and 5 year old grandchildren couldn’t reach the sink. It would be great to provide a step stool in that bathroom or bring your own. The pool was very close to where we stayed and the pool side service was exceptional. There was plenty of seating in the home and we truly enjoyed reading on the porch while listening to the waves. The management company was very responsive and took care of minor concerns immediately. They offered a coffee pot and Keurig. We didn’t feel they provided enough kitchen towels (2) so we bought some and left it. They provided 1 new sponge so we bought 3 dish cloths and left it there. There are only 2 towels per bedroom but the washer and dryer was convenient and we used it daily. There’s plenty of dishes and utensils as well as glasses and wine glasses. The ice maker kept up with our needs and the beverage fridge was fabulous for keeping daily beverages cold. Every room in the house has a TV. Our week was so relaxing. We rented bikes and body boards and had a chance to use them. We were unable to keep the umbrellas in the sand despite putting the stakes all the way into the ground. It was so windy, the umbrellas fell over. The chairs were great. I’d say don’t bother with a cooler. You’re so close yo the beach, you can go in and get lunch easy enough. There’s no access point for kayaking. Loved this vacation!

Wonderful relaxing trip

We loved this house and especially the views! So close to the beach and so much room! The only two downers were the parking is extremely tight and stairs stairs stairs. Most of us are young enough but very challenging for those nit so young. Otherwise pretty perfect for our beach adventures.

Family gathering between Thanksgiving and Christmas

This was the nicest vacation rental we have ever stayed. My only caution would be the steps. From the ground to the third level is 57 steps. If you have an elderly person or someone with an issue with mobility, this might not work. Nonetheless, we would go back in a hearbeat.

Fun at the beach

The home was great and had everything we needed except the use of the elevator. Since there were some older family members I will pay closer attention to that when booking. However, the location of the beach and the views were amazing.

Fabulous beach home

This beach home had everything we needed for a wonderful family vacation. Incredible views, lots of space to spread out, and direct beach access! The house was beautifully decorated , with tons of comfy seating in the living area! Our family of 5 kids (9 and under) and 6 adults had a great time!

Excellent Experience

Beautifully Maintained, clean and open. Great service from the property manager. It was girls weekend and there were 9 of us and it was just perfect. Be prepared for lots of steps...but all worth it. Beautiful views even in December.

Great family week in this fantastic home

Wonderful stay in this home. Although it created us no issues, the only ding I have is some inconsistency in the listing. It is described in material as both a 5 and 6 bedroom home. The 6th bedroom is a second family room with a sleeper sofa…not really a bedroom but would work if needed. We’d definitely stay again in this home. Hopefully 2923!

Family Beach Vacation

What a lovely home to spend a week’s vacation! Stunning ocean views from 3 porches, ample bedrooms, bathrooms and living space. Wonderful kitchen and harvest dining table. A perfect place to play games, eat dinner, converse or read a book.

Sweet Getaway

The home is large and well maintained and offered great space for our large family. The beach and location just beside the resort were a great bonus for us. Lots to do for those that don’t want to spend the entire day on the beach. This vacation was so easy, and I like easy! Everything is right there. Everybody was happy! Plus the easy use of bikes and equipment provided by VayK Gear with the generous credit included with are rental was awesome! We ate all but one meal in, but look forward to checking out restaurants next year when CoVid is G O N E!

Beautiful home in need of some maintenance

We loved staying in this beautiful house but as vacation rental owners ourselves, we were disappointed in the upkeep of this property. There were so many things that didn’t work....lights, window treatments, and on and on. It got to the point where we joked about it. And we are very easy to please! I can see where the new owners have put some time into certain areas but just little things need to be taken care of. And not expensive items either! All this being said, we hope to return next year. The house was beautiful and the location perfect! Just wanted you to be aware of the fact that a little TLC would take this place to 5 stars for sure. Thank you for an opportunity for an amazing week in your beautiful slice of heaven!

Beach getaway

Beach front home was comfortable.Although, the home had an elevator, it was not in use and there were many stairs. So it was disappointing that we had to lug groceries and luggage up steep staircases. Also, would have appreciated a working fireplace for the cold nights. Overall, it was a nice change of scenery from the Colorado cold.
