This was our 3rd time to Puerto Rico and the first time to this side of the island. We enjoyed the seclusion and privacy at the Royal Isabela and the beautiful 'cliffside' views while we enjoyed our meals. The property is beautifully maintained and the staff was very friendly. We went during Easter ...
Overall nice place to stay, beautiful views go out your back door and your on a great beach. Rooms are a solid 3 - 3.5 star, some things such as iron and blow dryer are not in the room but quickly brought to us by house keeping once requested. TV picture was grainy, WiFi is weak in the rooms and ...
We stayed from Thursday until Tuesday. The ocean view was amazing to wake to everyday. The place was quiet and clean when we got there. However, they stated we would have housekeeping on Saturday. When we got back to the room, nothing was cleaned. We waited for the next day, but left very early so we didn't have time to keep calling the main office. When we got back that night, again the room was unclean. We left to go out later on Monday, so we called first thing to have someone come, which they did...and we left the next day. So they didn't clean the room until after 4 days, the day before we left. That was disappointing. I never had stayed in a hotel where I had to keep tabs of getting our room cleaned. Other than that, everything else was ok.
The place is very nice. A good solid 3.5 hotel except there is very limited wifi, I got absolutely no cell phone signal, and no fridge with no ice machine. I didn't realize how much I need those things till that hotel. Wifi was only in the lobby area, you need to ask for ice in the front desk and they will take it out off their cooler, and no cell phone tower to get data or phone call. I had to drive out of the hotel just to make a phone call. Staff was nice, they had 2 nice big pools, nice place for kids to run and get fruit from the tree, nice big planes, the rooms where nice and big. Over all I wouldn't go back. I need wifi and cell signal. That right there made my decision not to go back. I could deal with asking for ice but I need wifi and cell phone signal.
It was close to a bar, parking was on the back, a place to sleep but no windows in the room kind of creepy, but clean just a place to sleep
The Hotel right now is being remodeling so it looks a little ugly lol Pros: Price Big Room Close to the Beach and Airport Close to Restaurants Fast WIFI Cons: No Fridge Parking lot is a little far so you need to walk a little bit to go to your room Parking Lot Again lol... I feel a little unsafe to leave my rental car there in the back of the hotel. Construction in the other side of the hotel. The Room was clean but the toilet when we came it have some hair.
