If you need a break from the crowd and want to escape with your partner, I recommend Royal Isabela. A perfect, private environment, with a spectacular landscape and delicious food. You can’t miss the breathtaking view from the Atlantic... my favorite!

If you are looking for golf, I am sure this is your destination. And if you are interested in a solitary experience w/ a plunge pool and a view, I am also sure this is your destination. We enjoyed a quiet few days in casita 12 with as much privacy as we needed, with a view of the ocean and a plunge pool in an undisturbed Caribbean landscape. But be sure, you will be undisturbed. With a small inattentive staff, a landscape crew that works at indiscriminate times (Monday during breakfast hours w/ weed-wackers that hum for hours), and long wait times for meals. But you’re on island time now. Patience is a virtue. There is a beach. After many steps, steep and sometimes treacherous with slick moss, we arrived at a beach that is not safe for swimming or surfing, although the waves were strong crashing over rocks. The long walk was well worth it for the incredible environment and view, but call it what is. Beautiful view w no typical beach scene. Solitary is how we like it, but solitary w/ luxury at our fingertips. We left this morning, a Wednesday, and we could find any staff to check out or leave our key with so we drove to the security gate and left it with them.

I spend the Memorial Holiday weekend and the experience was very special. Specially the restaurant and golf personnel was amazing always giving the extra mile making sure we had a great experience. Food, Las Casitas and overall property alternatives was very good!

I feel in love with PR on this trip. This hotel was like being on a private island with views to die for. We will be returning very soon. This is what exactly I need. Love these little casita and the breathe taking view.

Great accommodations, although not cheap. My two daughters stayed at the “ casitas” and it was a wonderful experience. All the “ casitas “ have a small pool in the back terrace which overlooks the wonderful sea view. The bath has 4 head showers in different part of it , and has doors that open to the small pool ,spa, y can leave them open while you shower ! You can enjoy all the breeze and lush landscaping available. My 6 grandchildren and 4 adults could fit there ! The restaurant is awesome , farm to table , good food although theSunday Brunch did not impress me. There was an egg hunt organized by Maria manager of guest services, she organized fun games for the kids from all ages. She also had prizes for them . We ate several times at the hotel and were served by a wonderful group of people , Dorka, especially was our favorite , sweet and very knowledgeable , fully bilingual as all the rest of the crew . I would recommend the place for a superb wedding, family reunion , conventions, or just for a great vacation. Very pleased with the service ofALL employees.

Really enjoyed this course. Front 9 and back give a different feel. The island green at 9 is just amazing and the back 9 hugs the shoreline. A must visit. The staff are amazing as well. Definitely worth every dollar

Mainly for golfers, offering a spectacular course with stunning views of ocean. We don't golf, and loved it. Great lap pool, 3 wide lanes, 25 meters, next to sell maintained tennis courts. Fitness center under renovation...totally destroyed by Hurricane. Great attention to detail and no expense soared on the resort. You stay in independent casitas. Very private. Ours had two large high ceilings rooms, bedroom and living room. Two big tvs, fridge, awesome view of the ocean. Dream bathroom with a huge deep tub and a shower with room for 3. Private deck is large, 2 causes picnic table, and a pool abou7 by 7 feet, not a hot tub, but comfortable, especially on a hot day. One dining room is a concession with a star chef. This is the only place to eat in site.Great food but limited menu as it should be at this level. Staff of hotel and dining are perfect in every way. Place is immaculate. Buildings gorgeous. One warning...not for you if disabked. Steep paths, stairs. The 160 steps down to the beach are worth it. Bring a blanket snacks and drinks.and nitroglycerin. Too rough to swim, secluded, stunning.

Beautiful and awesome resort to spend a weekend. Very quiet and peaceful. If you enjoy playing golf they have a beautiful golf court with a georgios view. The food in the restaurant is so good with a great service. I really recommend this resort.

My family and I visited Royal Isabela in February, 2019. The resort itself is vast and scenic. The Casita was large and had its own plunge pool. We ate in their restaurant daily and the food was excellent, the staff and the Chef were very attentive to our dietary requests. The staff, through out our stay were pleasant and tried their best to make our stay with them as enjoyable as possible. Special thanks to David and Dorcas at the Jota restaurant, and Ishmael at the front desk. We will definitely be back.

Awesome place! Very beautiful and relaxing. Casita was very nice. This was our second stop out of three resorts in Puerto Rico. The rooms at Royal Isabela were not as modern as the other two but that's not what Royal Isabela is about. The casitas are still Beautiful and you can't beat the peace and quiet on your patio with the outdoor plunge pool. Our casita also had a second deck down the hill with two chairs and a Beautiful view. I only left the casita to eat. My husband played golf. They don't have a spa but they do have someone who will provide services in your casita. We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the restaurant and all three were delicious. Customer service in restaurant was great. Customer service at resort did not wow me. We stayed at Condado Vanderbilt for two nights before arriving here and then went on to The St Regis Bahia Beach Resort after leaving here. Customer service at both of the other resorts was much better. Would I return to Royal Isabela? In a heartbeat!
