The Alexander was a wonderful place to stay for a short trip. The staff were all extremely helpful and courteous. The room was very clean, spacious and inviting. My only complaint was the noise. I realize that you can’t predict how other hotel guests will act in their rooms or the hallway but I would expect there to be more of a sound barrier to reduce the noise. I was not placed near an elevator or stairwell but it was very loud in the hallway all night long. Otherwise a great experience!

Only a 5 min walk to Bankers Fieldhouse. Good location. Very cool hotel

Hotel was awesome and and awesome drinks at Plat 99

The ended up giving me a huge king suite. I had 2 separate bedrooms each with their own full bathrooms. There was a kitchen and a nice living room. It was clean and mostly modernly furnished. The windows were drafty and it was cold sitting near them in October. It was overall quite nice though.

While I'll admit to being a big fan of old, classic buildings, the Alexander makes a very strong case for a much more modern hotel. It's comfortable but also has a lot of stylistic touches to make it a feast for the eyes. Little touches like fruit-infused water in the lobby make it a pleasure to come back to the room after a long day of doing whatever. The closeness to downtown makes it a good pick for a convention or vacation trip.

We had a great stay. Loved the decor, staff and location. The only problem we had is that our room smell bad. It smelled like old shoes or something. If we had stayed longer than one night I would have asked for air fresheners. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel was within walking distance of the downtown area. This made for a great night of entertainment and no driving or uber! The hotel itself has a great bar and friendly atmosphere, which helped to prepare for the night on the town. There was also a wedding taking place in the ballroom, which I had to force myself not to crash it, as the music was great. LOL. Overall, the hotel was an excellent find. The parking was 28 bucks a night but that's average for the area. Also, the concierge was very helpful with finding after hours food delivery.

The Alexander remains one of the better hotels downtown Indy, and so the first hotel I look at for the area. The facitilites are fresh and the rooms are always comfortable and clean. Added benefit is the bar which is world class in terms of cocktail craft - the bartenders could easily compete with the best on either coast. It's also helpful that the hotel complex sports a full bfast place (Yolk), a great restaurant (Cerulean) and across the street from a huge new 3story gym. Typically spend a lot of time working in hotel so these are super convient and help a ton.

We contacted the guest services about an issue on our floor during our stay and they were less than helpful at addressing the problem. They in fact told us that they "had other things they were dealing with at the moment," which under the given circumstances, was unacceptable. Other than that one incident, it was a great hotel: clean/modern atmosphere, good location, nice/comfortable rooms.

The lobby was decorated beautifully! The room was spacious and absolutely beautiful and the bathroom not only had a bathtub but also a large shower! We loved the hotel and especially the room.

Thins wall but very nice hotel the hotel staff was great and very helpful

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel is beautiful and unique in its decor.

430 am sounded like a herd of elephants on the floor above us...

Very accommodating staff. Rooms were very inviting and comfortable.

Came to town for a Pacers game and this hotel was great. It's close to the the arena but on the southeast side, so it's a few blocks off the "beaten path" of restaurants and hot spots that you may want to check out before or after the game. If you want breakfast in the morning and miss the buffet at the hotel restaurant, Yolk is located inside the same building and it's superb for breakfast or lunch! Overall it's a really nice, clean, upscale, beautiful new hotel and we will definitely come back!

Artwork displayed throughout building, guests are encouraged to roam around all floor lobbies. Extremely clean and comfortable. Very close to downtown venues.

Hotel was in a great location walking distance to arena.

We really enjoyed our evening at the hotel. The bar was a great place to hang out and the cocktails were amazing. We particularly enjoyed the popcorn that was served! Our room was very nice, lots of great amenities. However, we really did not like the pillows!! They were small and square, rather than a normal sized pillow. In the morning, when we all woke up, we all had very sore necks from constantly rolling off the pillows!! The robes in the rooms are a bit tacky. They look cheap and used. We called down to the front desk for more coffee supplies (there were 4 of us, but only 2 mugs) but were not brought the items. We had to ask again very late at night as we went back to the room. The bellman brought the items up, but we realized too late it was all decaf! Other than those few items, all was great!

Gorgeous room, lovely staff, great in room facilities. Bar was nice as well

Great hotel! The initial check-in was tough as the lock to our room was broken. They were so great about it and gave us free breakfast in return. Great location, food and vibe!!!
