The staff at this location go out of their way to make you feel welcome and to help you enjoy your stay. The hotel is a little dated but very clean and the rooms are spacious. Overall this was a great experience and I can't say anything bad about the hotel. The breakfast is actually what it should be -- hot and filling.

Employees were friendly...Chryle Jenkins greeted us at the front desk and was very helpful. Room was a bit dated and had pealing wall paper and all doors had massive finger prints all over them on the inside and out.

Today began as a happy, sunny day, then the flight was delayed two hours causing me to miss my connecting flight. The clouds were beginning to roll in. I was fortunately automatically rebooked (thank you Delta) and finally made my wait to Indiana from Birmingham, AL. When I arrived at the Residence Inn, there was Chayle, with her happy disposition and bright smile to check me in. Granted, I'd never stayed at this Residence in, nevertheless, when she greeted me, it was like I'd known her a lifetime. I asked if there was a place for dinner nearby and she called over Inge. Inge manages the kitchen. They had just closed the reception - but there were leftovers. Inge brought over to me a big plate of food - better than I would have bought at the nearby restaurant. Thank you, Inge and Chayle. You took a day that was getting a little grim and made the sunshine again!

The room layout and kitchen was very nice for an extended stay. Staff was very personable and helpful. Rooms has a musty smell. Every time we walked in the room we were hit with a terrible odor. Not sure if it was a smoking room years ago or they just have a poor ventilation system. Work out room was dirty. Equipment was rusty and no sanitary wipes available to wipe equipment when done. There appeared to be mold or dirt around the window casing. Our bed skirt was stained as to what appeared to hopefully be a coffee stain. Pull out couch not comfortable. Would not stay here again.

Great location about six miles from State Fairgrounds. Very quiet location and many restaurants nearby including Starbucks. Convenient access to local highways. Complimentary breakfast served daily with the usual s items offered at most facilities.

This is a very comfortable and clean hotel. The staff is very helpful. It is an east on/off I 65. There are good restaurants nearby. I traveled with an elderly parent. The staff was very helpful in making her stay comfortable.

Just returned from a 9 night stay that was our secon stay in this hotel. Location is of course very subjective, but was perfect for us. Close to 465 and 69 and all possible shopping and dining are close by. The room was clean and size was more than big enough. The staff is all super friendly and very helpfullwith any and all needs. In particular Inga from Housekeeping. The pool is clean and nice in size to play around in. The one negative point is the breakfast. Coffee is bland, juice tastes artificial and food is very greasy.... All in all we will go back on our next stay as the sum of all details is great.

For the most part hotel was clean throughout. Staff was friendly. Problem with toilet throughout two day stay that was still unresolved when we left. Customer service could be improved and communication back to you once a problem was brought to their attention. Not sure we would stay there again if there were similar options.

Overall a good experience for me and my family. Pool and hot tub were nice as was the workout room. Kids loved the free cookies at check in. Staff was very friendly and our room was clean. We had the end room on the top floor so no noise problem at all.

This hotel has a black mold problem! I had to change rooms due to black mold covering all three vents in the room. It smelled of smoke and mildew. The 2nd room I was in also had black mold but not as heavy. I was only staying one night and was already exhausted so risked it and stayed. Also the elevator smelled of mold and mildew and the carpet was disgustingly dirty. Stay in a different hotel if you value your health at all.
