Homewood Suites by Hilton Indianapolis-Downtown

3.0 out of 5.0

This Hilton is in a downtown area about a 10-15 minute walk to Lucus Stadium, Indiana Convention Center, many restaurants and shopping. The hotel was converted from a Warehouse in 2006. Some areas of the hotel have the charm of old exposed brick. The rooms are pretty plain, but comfortable. I had two roommates and it worked fine for us especially because we had a full size fridge,so we could store snacks, water and such and use the microwave for quick warmups etc. We weren’t able to experience the breakfast area in the morning becuase of our conference schedule. Parking is pricey and they only offer Valet with in/out service, but there is a lot conveniently located about 1 block down the street for 1/2 the price. No in and out in that lot however, but we walked everywhere so it wasn’t necessary for us. The Staff at the hotle is OUTSTANDING and bend over backwards for you anyway they can. Great front desk, bellhops and valet!! If you’re not looking for luxury then this hotel is fine Beware that the rooms facing the outside streets can be noisy and the “interior” rooms look out to the nextdoor building, but they have nice wooden shutters on the windows and you don’t miss a nice view.

Very friendly clean and delicious breakfast . Rooms are spacious and perfectly located in downtown

Very nice. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Our room was not ready when we arrived early but they quickly got the room ready and called us to let us know. Highly recommend.

Love the place. Can't go wrong on any level. Enjoy!

Percent location to enjoy downtown Indy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Close to shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Able to walk to everything and took a 7 min cab to the Murat for a concert! Staff was very friendly! Breakfast was good. Rooms are spacious and comfortable

We decided to make a stop in Indianapolis on our way between Saugatuck, Michigan and Cincinnati. I love Indy and love visiting The Slippery Noodle Inn for amazing live music. Usually stay at the Omni, but thought I would try Homewood Suites. I was very pleased. Of course, the location is perfect, and the hotel nothing shy of the same. From the valets to housekeeping, every person was pleasant and accommodating. The hotel is in a historic building, and I love that they have a plaque on the wall as you enter through the Rosewood door to the room. Exposed brick and beautiful beams dividing the small, but very functional kitchen area from the living area catch your eye first. The furniture layout is perfect; size of the room is wonderful; and, the vanity area being separate from the water closet and shower is great. Never mind that they serve dinner - that I cannot speak to since we had plans already, but my husband loved the full breakfast buffet. I just wanted coffee, yogurt and fruit - which, they also had. A definite for my return list. Not sure I would stay anywhere else when visiting Indy. This may motivate me to seek out Homewood Suites before others in cities where I travel.

Very Large Room, with separate living area. Clean and comfortable. Very nice for extended stays. In the heart of Downtown. Only minus, parking is provided by a parking garage near the hotel.

This hotel was VERY nice - staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the place was beautiful and very well appointed, breakfast and evening social provisions were GREAT! My room was fabulous! It was large and extremely comfortable. My only complaint was that the hotel's location right in downtown can be noisy at night, as the bar scene cranks up and around 3 am, when it shuts down. But hey - there's not a lot the staff can do about that. If i had a reason to go back to Indianapolis, I would stay here again, for sure!

This is a fabulous hotel I assume that 5 is the high grade here. I gave it all 5s. Close to my business location. Terrific staff. Lovely breakfast in AM AND SNACKS AT NIGHT. Amazing room design.

downtown Indy hotel for activities within walking distance. Close to lucas oil stadium, circle center mall, bankers field house, etc. Very clean and good breakfast included. Would stay again!

The rooms at Homewood Suites were very spacious and perfect for allowing our children a little breathing room. We had a wonderful stay! Our son still remembers this hotel by name :)

This hotel was amazing! We went to see the Lakers/Pacers play and the hotel was literally right around the corner. Loved the room and the atmosphere. The staff was excellent! Hope to get this price again for this hotel!!

The wife and I both agreed probably the nicest hotel we've ever stayed at. Rooms are huge and beautiful! Location is perfect. Walking distance to Lucas Oil Stadium and all the attractions downtown. Breakfast buffet is great too. Will definitely stay again!

On check-in, clerk wanted to put me on the first floor, at the elevator. Asked to be moved to a more quiet room and, with some huffing, quietly obliged. Liked the decor, exposed brick, history.

walking distance to a lot of place you want to visit downtown. Breakfast was also great, not the typical cereal, eggs, and pancakes you get at other hotels.

A friend in I were in need of a short getaway and found this gem! We loved the room - the food ad adult beverages- and the staff here! It is the BEST location within walking distance of lucas oil field, the baseball stadium and great restaurants !! I will definately share this SURPRISE with everyone and return soon!

My family and I are from Fort Wayne, and were traveling to Bloomington to an IU Basketball game. We came back from Bloomington and stayed at Homewood Suites. It is a gorgeous hotel! My family and I were impressed with our suite. We've been staying in hotels for quite sometime in Indy, and I think Homewood Suites is now our new favorite!

We only stayed for one night in this hotel that is very clearly designed for a longer stay (kitchen, dining, living area) but we enjoyed our room. The view out of the window wasn't anything to write home about - it just faced the other side of the building, but again, not a big deal to us. If I wanted a nice view, I would request one. They do serve complimentary dinner and breakfast. The breakfast was good, we didn't try the dinner as we had other plans already. The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. Overall, we would stay there again and recommend the hotel to others.

We really enjoyed our stay here ! We stayed for Easter and had our 4 year old with us. it was extremely comfortable and friendly !
