Overall the Best Western Hotel was very nice. All employees were friendly and went out of their way to be accommodating. They also let us use a room close to the coffee shop because their WIFI wasn't working during the NBA Draft. One tiny problem, there were a lot of small red ants in the bathroom. My husband told the staff about it. Rather than bait the ants to prevent them from coming in and returning, they sent an employee up with a bottle of RAID to kill the tiny ants. I didn't watch him spray but our toothbrushes were out on the countertop when he did. The room smelled like lemon scented RAID for the afternoon but we went out for the day. The only truly negative experience I had came on the last night of our stay. We woke up early (5:30-6:00 AM) on 4/24/18 because we had to pack and board a bus for Mexico City. I planned to go next door to the OXXO for some coffee to wake up and prepare for our journey home. I quietly walked past the front desk employee who was curled up on the floor sleeping on some chair cushions. I found a latch on the closed door and had to unlock it in order to leave for coffee. I returned in 10 minutes with coffee and found that the door was relatched and I had been locked out. I sat and waited outside until a family member came down looking for me around 6:30 AM. Thankfully we were still on time for our bus to Mexico City. Be aware that if you leave too late or too early you may be locked out.
