Please take a few moments to review this house guide before and during your stay, as it contains everything you need to make the most of your time here.

A Few Important Reminders
1. Use the Nordic Spa and waterfront at your own risk. This includes the sauna, cold plunge, hot tub, dock, beach, and all watercraft and water toys.

2. Please do not leave garbage bags on the deck overnight. Raccoons will get into unsecured garbage. Please keep all garbage in the outdoor bin with the lid securely closed and dispose of excess garbage in the dumpster as outlined in this guide.

3. Please do not feed the geese or ducks. Feeding them encourages them to gather on the property, beach, and dock, where their droppings create an unpleasant environment for everyone to enjoy.

4. Please follow the check-out instructions carefully to help us prepare the cottage for our next guests.

Thank you for helping us keep The Wolegib Retreat beautiful for everyone who stays here. We hope you create memories that will last a lifetime.

The hunt is over near Huntsville

I've stayed in 5 star hotels with less appeal. A very upscale 'cabin in the woods'. Direct waterfront (river) and very private. BBQ, outdoor fire pit, hot-tub, dock, kayaks and WIFI - all in excellent working order which is many times not the case. Communication with owners very good. Overall a great getaway. Huntsville was a very nice town as well just a quick 10 min down the road.

Best Cottage in Huntsville!

My friends and I had an amazing time at Wolegib! The cottage itself was stunning with a great view, just like the pictures in the listing. We enjoyed the hot tub and the indoor fireplace and really brings the cozy vibes that we were looking for in a cottage. The cottage is also quite close to town, approximately a 15-20min drive. Arrowhead provincial park was also nearby and we enjoyed the natural skating there. The roads in Hunstville are quite snowy and you definitely need winter tires to go around everywhere, but all the roads were plowed. What made our experience 10x better was Rebecca and Garth. They were ready to respond to any questions and provide any help we wanted at all times.Overall, highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking to visit Huntsville and Muskoka area. Would also be lovely during summer time as they had a bunch of water activities in the front yard of the cottage.
