Pleasant but dated property in a nice location around Huntsville. The hotel probably looks a lot like it did in 1995. The staff is generally helpful, but the check-in and check-out were really, really slow, which is not what you want when you want to enjoy the property. Restaurant is good, but a limited menu, and all the dishes are fairly heavy.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was good. The inside pool and hot tub area could be cleaner. Pool had stained upper tiles and wood around pool was chipped. Carpets around could use cleaning. Good choice of beach chairs and umbrellas. Dining area inside and entrance area were nice.

Amazing service they did everything to make sure you were satisfied We were celebrating our anniversary and one of the managers brought us a complementery bottle of wine and 2 slices of decadent chocolate cake....Beds were extremely comfortable and everyone was very nice.

The amenities, both indoor and outdoor, as well as the private beach, were perfect. However, I wanted to mention my concern regarding the room. Our room faced the parking lot, which impacted our privacy and was not an ideal view. I recommend highlighting the room views under the photos if some rooms have less favorable outlooks.

My sister and I booked a two-day getaway at Hidden Valley Resort, arriving on Saturday, June 7th, and departing on Monday, June 9th. While the resort itself was pleasant and the staff we interacted with were friendly, our overall experience was marred by significant issues with customer service and restaurant accessibility. Upon our arrival for the 4 PM check-in, we were looking forward to a relaxing stay. However, we encountered a major inconvenience on Sunday evening when we discovered that the hotel restaurant was closed due to a low number of guests. We were not informed of this closure in advance. Having already enjoyed some wine in our room, we were unable to drive to a local restaurant, and we had not packed any food, assuming the resort's restaurant would be available. We expressed our concerns about this situation, as well as some issues with our room, to the receptionist, Lana, upon our departure. She assured us that the Customer Service Manager would contact us to discuss our concerns further. Unfortunately, we did not receive any follow-up communication. My sister sent an email on Wednesday, June 11th, but still received no response. I called the resort on Friday, June 13th, and spoke with another receptionist who promised that the Customer Service Manager would get back to us that same day. This advertised as dog friendly - it is not. This advertised a restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner - it was closed the whole time (3 days) I was there. The place was empty and they put us in a noisy room by the laundry where there was a massive ceiling leak. There was a huge centipede in the bathroom. I would not recommend or ever go back there. Also, no elevator and we had to lug stuff up and down a lot of stairs.

The location was very picturesque. It was a very relaxing, laid-back site for a wedding reception, which was the reason for my visit. The location was also far from anything else, and so, all transportation had to be carefully pre-arranged.

It was a pleasant experience. It was quiet, the room was standard we didn’t expect too much. Lots of activity, staff are friendly and helpful. If there was a gym that would we awesome.
