Property is disgusting. Paid for a "premium" room and got a room literally in a basement. Lights did not work when I walked in. Used cell phone light to see where I was going, immediately found smashed food and bugs on the floor. Dogs constantly barking in adjacent units. Chunk of wood wedged in sliding window as a makeshift lock. Complained immediately to clerk, she said these issues "weren't their fault" and refused to cancel my stay. Claimed she did not have permission to offer refunds. Took my room key but refused to give me any paperwork. Called manager who came in and said "I don't need any paperwork because they have cameras". Had Expedia call to authorize a cancellation of my booking (which I had made only three hours prior) but they refused to grant it. Explained I would need to file incident report with the police if they refused to give me proper documentation of my transaction. They didn't care. Police were unable to convince owner to issue the refund or to even write acknowledgement that I wasn't staying there. Expedia told me they normally cannot issue refund in this scenario except for how rude and unreasonable the operator was when they spoke, so I got a 100% refund but I was lucky to get it.
DO NOT STAY HERE unless saving $10 is your only way to survive and you are willing to have very, very low standards. You are 100% GUARANTEED to be disappointed and this operator will give you NOTHING back once you book. You've been warned.
