Hotel was very good, good hot breakfast, friendly service and quiet.

Hotel has a musty odor as soon as you walk in the door. Clerk not the most pleasant person. The rooms really need a good cleaning, doesn't seem like the floors especially under the beds ever get vacuumed. The chairs were not fit to sit in and the linen was worned. I'm glad I bought my own linen. The shower curtain was stained, There was somthing strange about this town. It's infested with flies. Everywhere you went, you had to fight the flies, maybe the folks there are use to it, but I couldn't wait to leave that town.

The hotel and room were dated - threadbare carpet, 1990s broken down furniture, bed was awful. The "SuperStart" breakfast left quite a bit to be desired. It was a continental breakfast at best. The coffee had grounds which floated and settled on the bottom of the cup, there was no pancake batter, one muffin, no milk, no apple juice - my husband had to ask the desk clerk to refill everything that was depleted. Here's another fun fact - one of the guests took the "pet friendly" atmosphere to the nth degree - she had her horse out for a stretch in the grass adjacent to the lobby/breakfast area - and everyone could watch him do his "business." Yippee! On the upside, the staff was smiling and friendly - we think - because only the desk clerk spoke English. Also, the room and the bathroom were clean. Overall value? About $30 overpriced.

Ordinary...but that is not a bad thing. The innkeepers were friendly. A pleasant stay.

Basic room but probably would be great for someone who was in a wheelchair. Breakfast was waffels/cereals/ fruit, no yogurt, no etc. The room cards didn't work very well. I only briefly saw anyone working at the desk the evening I checked in and another fellow the evening before I left. But, it was the least expensive place to stay in town.

Traveled daily to see my son's dog compete in World Dock Dogs in Stillwater for Lumberjack Days. Was an easy drive, and away from the bustle of Stillwater. Friendly staff, clean room. Priced right! Thanks, Orbitz.

Over all a pleasant stay. Although I know of no Super 8 with elavator facilities this is the only thing I don't like. I was on the second floor and the lack of air conditioning in the hall way and the long set of stairs isn't the most comfortable situation. Next time I stay at a Super 8 I will request a first floor room. The hotel was close to my destination and I will stay there again.

New Richmond is located is a farm community, so city people may not feel there is much to do. We chose this particular motel because we were doing sighseeing in Red Wing, MN and Stillwater, MN and Stillwater is just across the St. Croix river into MN. Being out of the tourist area, the price was lower, and perhaps 20 miles away, not a bad trade. The motel was clean and our room included a microway and a refrigerator, we were well satisfied.
