Outstanding hotel, pool villas, staff and service. Incredible club facilities. Always so well looked after and the location is perfect right in the town with great restaurants nearby and on the beach. It’s perfect, wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Afternoon tea is amazing!

Our first visit to this hotel from 21st-27th March following a recommendation far exceeded our expectations. We had a lovely Deluxe room with a beautiful view over the manicured topiary gardens. Breakfast was a fantastic selection of Asian and European options with smoothie and fresh fruits in abundance. The three swimming pools (not including the villas) ensure plenty of comfort and relaxation with no overcrowding. The sandy beach( whilst not private) offers beautiful walks along the water. We experienced a problem with the hot water in the shower during our stay but the hotel staff led by the front office manager, Tuk were very professional in their handling of the situation and ensured that our holiday was not affected. It's central location, on the beach and 5 minutes walk to a number of restaurants on the pier over looking the sea, and 10 minutes to the night market where you can buy all your goodies for home, whilst experiencing great street food makes this a great spot. I would highly recommend this hotel and am looking forward to returning there very soon.

I have been staying at the Railway Hotel for over 20 years (from when it was the Sofitel). It is a charming old world style hotel set in huge relaxing gardens right on the beach. The service and food are excellent but you it is also a very short walk to town for shopping and other food.

We stayed in one of the Villa's and had Club facilities - fantastic, the staff could not be more helpful and the hotel complex one that we will most definately visit again. Relaxing and safe yet within a short walk from the busy nightlife, our new favourite place.

Location for HH is great - walking distance to the market, restaurants, street food, etc. Nice property, great garden, lovely breakfast, and good service. We had a great room ... The hotel is at the beach itself ...

This was our 5th stay at the Centara, we were there this time for 4 weeks of absolute bliss. If you’re looking for the usual, square boxed modern buildings that are on offer in Hua Hin this hotel is not for you. However if you want a hotel that has history, oozes class and provides amazing service the Centara is the one for you. The feel of the hotel is relaxed with a colonial style to the building and grounds. The common areas, restaurants and rooms are all kept impeccably clean and the gardens manacured to perfection. If the gardens were in the uk they would be open to the public as they are so stunning, exhibiting some of the best topiary I have ever seen. To get the best from this hotel I would advise you to book a Premium Delux Club room, this then gets you access to “ the club” where you get breakfast served to you in the morning, light lunch, afternoon tea, cocktails from 5.30 to 7pm etc. This is excellent value even if you only use it on a few occasions. We particularly enjoyed cocktails as you soon met up with other guests, met new friends and got chance to chat for and hour or two with new people, all very friendly. This hotel is not cheap with a bottle of wine costing £50 plus! However if you take advantage of the hotels “Baht Bonanza” you get extra free money added to your account, this makes the costs of things in the hotel a lot more palatable. See the website for full details, you need to opt for this in the first 24 hours of your stay. The on site Spa is pure luxury, with some of the best massages I have ever had, try “ Thai Harmony” a four hand massage, you won’t regret it. The location of the hotel is perfect, an oasis, pretty much on the edge of the town centre only a few steps outside the front gate. In the town there are hundreds of restaurants, try going native and eat in the street markets, the food is fresh, very good and incredibly cheap. Two people can eat for about £20 inc a drink if you want. You can also get cheap drinks with a beer or glass of wine costing about £2 each in the numerous bars. The beach at the hotel is beautiful, stretching about 4 miles, so if you like an early morning walk it’s the perfect place to go. In the afternoon the beach comes alive with hundreds of kite surfers creating a kaleidoscope of colour along the waters edge. Buy fresh fruit from the lady’s selling Mango, pinaple and many other fruits about £1 each. Finally you must go to the beach at around 6.30am to watch the sun rise over the sea, it’s amazing. Enjoy this special place. 😀

Centara Grand Hua Hin is a fantastic resort - due to its history, the rooms, the nice large and immaculately kept garden, the restaurants, the facilities, great staff & service level, the location in the middle of Hua Hin - there is no other resort that compares. My friends and my family adore Centara Grand Hua Hin - and for a good reason - it's just superb ...

Just returned from a very relaxing holiday. Everything you required was available to you even though you might not know it. A special thank you to Jib, who helped us with any requests we might have. Returning next year.

Everything here is just amazing. the food, the garden surroundings and not least the hotel itself. 100% worth a visit. we Are sitting here on the beachfront/centara coast Beach club & bistro enjoying a fantastic breakfast and enjoy Hua Hin from its absolute best side, water side. definitely worth a visit/stay( PS. The Thai Rosé wine is not that bad.)😎🍷🏝🐘

My husband and I are into our second day of a 10 night stay at this resort The hotel is steeped in history, has beautiful grounds and the most amazing location, next to the beach but literally minutes from all the amenities of the town The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating Apart from having to change our room due to the fact we were allocated a ground floor room with noisy guests above us, this situation was dealt with efficiently and we love our new top floor room
