Anantasila Villa by the Sea

We visited this hotel in October 2017. Unfortunately, we happened to be there while they were renovating some of the rooms. Therefore we constantly heard the sound of a drill or grinder, which was annoying. The rooms are spacey but basic. They had two aircons, two twin beds, a small kitchen with basic appliances and a balcony. The bathroom was not closed, which means that mosquitoes could get in and out without any obstruction. The hotel has an annex building; DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT book a room in the annex building because it is not nicely situated. The beach is depressing and public which means you should be prepared to solicitation for services. The sea was green?! I am not sure why. The pool was clean but rather small and always full with people to the max. The restaurant serves good food and the prices are reasonable. I liked the breakfast and lunch there. The hotel is right on the beach and not far from 7/11 convenience store. There is a nice local seafood eatery called Sopha Seafood within a five-minute walk. I give this hotel 3.5 stars out of five.

We been there with family. Good option sin breakfast, friendly staff, beach side sitting places. Great pool. A place where you can get lost from your busy life. Recommend everyone for quite times to refresh.

We stayed three nights in the annexe of the hotel with a 5 year child. The staff were friendly and attentive, the room was clean,as were the pool and facilities at the hotel. The hotel is very child friendly, we will definitely coming back to stay.

Stayed here with a family of 20 and the staff were so accommodating to our needs. Most of my family were in the villa part overlooking the beach and pool, while I opted to stay in the garden area, across the parking lot and more inland for more privacy and quiet. Plus side: the room had it's own patio and dining area. The rooms are comfortable and nicely appointed. The pool area is great! Love the bar and also the buffet breakfast had loads of options. Also got a massage beachside which was wonderful, but several family members arranged to have it in their hotel rooms. There are monkeys, but staff are prepared with BB guns to scare them off. Staff arranged taxis into town as needed, and were so so helpful.

We express our deep appreciation to each and every single member in Anantasila Team. It was a very lovely, quite, relaxing & friendly staying in Anatasila. This was our 1st stay & we really feel like we were in our Home. Every member was smiling and very welcoming every time in the day and try to serve us with anything we need which really made us thankful to such organization & team. My children were very sad to leave Anantasila and asked me to return back instead of visiting Bangkok City which I can understand why. It is because of the treatment we were getting in there. we will be back next time for sure spend more time in this relaxing & friendly place. We also loved Hua Hin People where they were very friendly and respectful to others. Hua Hin is very Safe Area to small kids or adults which we experienced.

Situated away from the bustle of central Hua Hin but offering a free 10 minute shuttle to town, this is an ideal location. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, well equipped and impeccably clean Nice communal lounge area on terrace overlooking the sea and beautiful pool with infinity view of beach. Reserved loungers on beach, which is literally a few yards from the terrace. Staff - from general manager right through - are exceptionally warm, friendly and helpful. One feels they are genuinely anxious to ensure you are happy. Restaurant is superb. We went in low season so hotel reasonably empty. One feared this might have led to skimping on choice at the breakfast buffet but this did not happen. A really wide choice too - both western and Thai - for lunch or dinner. The number of non-resident diners is testament to its success. One of the nicest hotels we have visited anywhere

This is a lovely holiday location away from all he busyness of Hua Hin. The beach and the sea are magnificent. This is a smaller hotel which provides great service and has a wonderful kitchen for dining. The shuttle service into Hua Hin is convenient and it is easy to call for a return taxi. We are planning on returning for another week in March,2018. Reservations have already been made.

It was our first trip to Thailand, and travelling from Bangkok to Anantasila Villa by the Sea proved nothing short of refreshing! The hotel, which is located directly on the beach, boasts of beautiful natural surroundings. Guests are provided with robes and slippers and complimentary daily water. The hotel restaurant offers a wide variety of international and local dishes which are all very tasty. They are also quite resourceful in creating dishes for specific diets (Thanks to an exceptional chef and wonderful Jacqueline!) The daily breakfast buffet is inclusive of international and exciting local cuisine and is always accompanied by a smiling chef and friendly staff. Some evenings dinner is accompanied by live music. The rooms feature several television channels, most of which are not in English. For my family and children, it didn't matter too much, as they were busy with the mini golf, children's pool and beach. In the rooms, guests can find Body Lotion, Conditioning Shampoo, Soap etc. There is also a tea/ coffee station in the room for use. It's advisable to bring your insect repellent, although we didn't find any insects in rooms, there are several buzzing around town. The hotel offers free daily shuttles to Market Village Mall and Bluport Resort Mall, and also to night and weekend markets. We used these to explore Hua Hin :) A convenient 7/11 can be found at the top of the street just a short walk away from the hotel. Also there are many Dining options right around the hotel for your convenience. There are also laundry services available. We used PANISA Laundry which charged 80Baht per kilo and returned the clothing in good condition the next day. There are also several hair dressers and massage parlors nearby the hotel. For those who want to experience a Buddhist Temple or donate to a Children's Home, there is one close by the hotel. Thunyaa & Khun Wassana at the Reception were very helpful in organizing my trip. The experience we had at Anantasila was truly memorable and this was chielfy due to their exceptional staff and service. Bruce (the General Manager) and his staff must be commended for the unparalleled service offered to guests. Nothing is ever a problem for this team! KUDOS!! We have visited countless hotels in many countries, and have not experienced such warm hospitality. I would definitely recommend this hotel for your visit.

Great hotel, right on the beach. Only 10 minute by taxi to centre of Hau Hin and night markets. Staff really friendly and helpful. Lovely rooms, clean and spacious we had a junior suite for family of four.

We returned to Anantasila as we know the service, the food, the atmosphere and rooms would be great. As usual, it was all that we wanted - a perfect escape from Bangkok. Relaxing. The beach is good too.
