We could not stop raving about our stay to our friends. The room is clean and well kept, and most importantly, quiet! We got great nights of sleep. We loved the free shuttle bus to town every day to go to restaurants and the mall and on the weekends to the night market. The pool was perfect for lap swimming. The hotel staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The best part of the trip was the food. We searched for high-end restaurants throughout Hua Hin for our anniversary, and we were met with disappointment, because the food at the hotel is so unbelievably good that nothing else could compare. The menu is half western food and half thai, cooked by their head European chef or local chefs. Breakfast is wonderful as well, with tons of hot and cold choices. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind: far enough away from town to be quiet and close enough for a quick ride in. We highly recommend this hotel and we can't stop talking about going back.
We stayed there for 2 weeks & it's one of the best holidays ever! From Bruce - the GM, Joy - Resident manager, Ploy, the chef (culnery delights), everyone ensured our stay was a memorable one. Each & every meal we had (free breakfast included) was amazing. Room, pool & amenities were of a very high standard. Hotel is right on the beach. Thank you guys, we will be back. We were a family of 8 with 7 adults and a toddler. The location of the hotel is stunning. They have the added incentive of massage set-ups right at the beach. The rooms are great we stayed for 1 night in the annexure building and had 2 big bedrooms with living which was great. The staff at the restuarants and the food was exceptional too. We had all our meals except one at the hotel. They have great variety and the quality is excellent too. Only 2 recommendations: 1. Given the overall look and feel of the hotel and upkeep of rooms is great, the bathrooms are enormous upto the standard. Neither in the rooms in annexe not in the rooms in A wing 2. On the last day there was a bad sewage smell outside of ground floor rooms in A wing. I am sure it must have been a one off, but would suggest that the hotel resolves that. Overall great stay, good food, great cocktails, good staff!!
Hi there. Once again we had a great stay at Hotel Anantasila. We would like to say thanks to hotelmanager mr. Bruce and his fantastic staff. It was second time we stayed at Anantasila and had a very warm welcome. Everything is great about this hotel and we hope to come back next year. Best regards from Jørn Kofod and his family from Denmark
A quaint mid range hotel on relatively quiet beach. It's obviously expanded over time but it seems the vibe and style has remained true. The hotel has some nice areas - the restaurant in particular which is right on beach. Cool in a very understated way. Though could do with a just a bit of music. The rooms: the garden two bedroom rooms are large and spacious with all the equipment you'd need (kitchen sink, microwave, medium fridge, stove, kettle, toaster pots and pans plates and cutlery.) Beds are comfortable. They're cute. The only gripe is that really they could do with an update, especially the bathrooms. The hotel offers transfers to town at set times and they try and accommodate other requests. There is building working going on site until December 2017. Noise is kept to a minimum during the working day and is effectively boarded off. The staff are friendly and helpful. A good option in Hua Hin. The restaurant is good - brilliant setting and set up with competent of not stand out faire.
stayed in Anantsila for the weekend. This property is ideal, on the beach, away from main road and city, super friendly staff and excellent staff. The rooms are nice, clean and spacious. it has nice restaurant facing the sea and live music. the prices were very reasonable. they also have a separate menu for vegetarian and that makes things so easy. i will definitely recommend and will visit again.
Exstraordinary service from all of the staff. Great restaurant and pool area. The room was ok, but it was impossible to set the shower to a suitable temperatue, either it was scolding hot or really cold. Our room had some noise from the aircon, the fridge and the nearby elevator if you are sensible to that stuff. The wifi was pretty unstable. Very nice that there was free water and soft drinks in the fridge every day.
The resort is located a bit south of the center of Hua Hin, but that is not negative. On the contrary, you get away from the hassle of the city, but it's close enough to make it easy to go there, or to any attraction nearby if you so desire. One of this hotels best features, is the staff! By far the most service minded, effective and friendly staff i have ever experienced in Thailand, and that says a lot about this place. They also offer free shuttle to the city and to the local laundry, and other transport options can be arranged at low cost using their network. The staff also help us organize trips and make dinner reservations. The hotel restaurant is also one of the best in Hua Hin. The chef is German, and the menu is international, but with lots of Thai dishes that are very good. We ended up having many meals at the hotel, as the restaurant is very nicely located by the beach. The rooms are very good, very clean and with one of the most effective house cleaning teams i have ever experienced. They move in with 3-4 people, and deep clean the room every day, in no time at all! Very impressive! The pool area is also very family friendly with lots of sunbeds, and we never really see any shortage. Lots sunbeds available on the beach as well. On the negative side, i need to mention that the pool needs some maintenance, the tiles are a bit sharp due to lack of cement between them, and the wooden floor surrounding the pool also needs some work. The beach is not the best in Thailand, and when we visit the water was not very clear with lots of jellyfish. But this was during the rainy season (July), so this may be different in summer season. All in all, i really love this hotel and the staff. Well done by the management to keep this high standard, and i can honestly say this is one of the absolutely best hotels i have ever stayed at! We will come back :)
Joy, the manager at Anantasila, was amazing!! I was travelling with 2 kids and my mother, who is in a wheelchair. We needed a higher toilet seat for my mum, and Joy went at 8 pm to get it for us. She got a ramp built to make it easier for my mum to get access to the lobby and pool area. The icing on the cake was when she made special arrangements for my mum to be able to go to the beach and get her feet wet in the sea. Joy's attitude is to never say no but to find a way to get things done and make sure all her guests are happy. The food at Anatasila was super. The staff was service was also exceptional. The property has a very friendly and homely vibe, and each guest is made to feel special. The private beach is beautiful and very clean. We had a fantastic holiday and highly recommend Anatasila.
I am a female traveler who wanted rest and relaxation by the beach. The highlights of this resort are the following: architecture, open restaurant with delicious food, spacious rooms with complimentary drinks/toiletries, large pool, and beach front access. The resort seems like an ideal place for families and anyone who wants a quiet relaxing mini vacation. The staff was cordial/professional and promptly assisted me upon request. I appreciate that the staff was understanding when I broke a glass water bottle in the lobby (I was embarrassed). I did not feel comfortable swimming in the beach water. There was a Jelly fish warning sign and some visible jelly fish on the beach. I rarely saw hotel guest go into the water. The hotel staff were cordial and professional, but I did not experience the same warmth that I have felt in other hotels in Thailand. I am not sure if this is standard procedure, but I had to follow the receptionist to my room while carrying my own luggage. I was also suprised that staff did not ask me if I wanted to order anything to eat or drink during the two days I spent on the beach infront of the hotel. This is not a big deal to me but a noticeable difference from other hotels that I have stayed at in Thailand.
