We stayed only two nights. Arrived on Sunday evening. Two adults, two children, aged 7 and 9 years. Location is on a small cove, beside a point, and protected by a breakwater. Very quiet beach and semi-secluded. The hotel has direct access to a beach with soft sand. The beach has public access, but is much quieter than other beaches close by. Also, much cleaner. The only disappointment was that the seabed was very muddy, rather than sandy. The hotel, itself is very nice. Small parking area. Reached by driving down a narrow street. Not much close by, but not too far to restaurants and convenience stores. We had a car, so transportation was easy for us. About 10 minute drive to shopping mall. The hotel building is in very good condition, and well maintained. Good sized swimming pool located between two buildings, with a view of the beach. The lobby and restaurant are open air, both with a view of the beach. Close to the beach is a small café. Food price is moderate. The little food we ate here was very good. Restaurant service was good. The hotel has lounge chairs and umbrellas, and, of course, free towel service for both the pool and the beach. The room, with two double beds, was adequate, not cramped. The bathroom was good, and proportionally large. Our room had a proper closet, safe box, TV with cable box, refrigerator and hot pot for boiling water. Wifi service was good. One computer available in lobby. Interesting feature was a 4 hole miniature golf course. Good for children for a very short time.
We stayed at Anantasila for 2 nights and found the hotel to be fabulous. The service from Reception, wait staff and everyone else we came across was exceptional, always helpful and always with a smile. The room was well equipped and lovely, the pool was spotless and a good size, with plenty of sun beds, and there was also plenty of sun beds on the beach. We missed the shuttle to the Songthew depot, so the receptionist organised for the little bus to take us there anyway. The hotel is situated at the end of the beach and there's plenty of beach restaurants very close by. We would've loved to stay longer, if we had the time and would definitely return.
We went to Anantasila Villa in April 2017 with total 13 people (7 adults, 5 children and 1 baby). We stayed at two pool villas for 3 nights. The hotel itself is just beside the seaside, only 10 seconds walk from hotel breakfast place to the seaside. Beside the breakfast place, there is a swimming pool for all hotel guest as well, with kids pool. It is definitely suitable for a family trip with children. Breakfast was great. There would be a bit different everyday so you would not get bored for the breakfast meals. They also often Tom Yum Kong sometimes and it was great! The villas are with everything you would need, such as amenities, towels, small kitchen, microwaves, forks, plates, etc. And the rooms are clean. However, children under age of 12 are not allowed to play at the private pools unless you signed a waiver letter to waive the hotel's liability if any accident happened, which they are right. The private pools are deep and it may be dangerous for kids under age of 12 who do not know how to swim. Take care of your kids properly if you are staying in the pool villas. Since our kids are good at swimming, we signed the waiver letter and looked after our kids carefully when they were at pool.
I picked out Anantasila from the internet and was concerned that it would be a good choice for a quiet holiday. I must admit that whilst driving to the Hotel I was quite worried because it was a bit out of town and the surrounding streets were a bit unkempt and run down. However, once at the Hotel we were both absolutely delighted. This is a beautiful place to stay. It's right on the beach and you can watch the waves while having breakfast or other meals. The restaurant food is fantastic. I enjoyed every meal and the service was excellent. Every night we were served a little appetiser (free of charge) before our meal. They were inventive and tasty. Although the hotel is out of town, they offer a shuttle service or can organise a taxi if you wish. The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a sea-view room and were asked a number of times if everything was to our satisfaction, and of course it definitely was. The pool is great. Never too crowded and no problems getting a subbed by the pool or on the beach. Thank you Anastasia for a wonderful, restful holiday.
If you want have a quick getaway from buzzing Bangkok, you can select this cosy hotel. Perfect to go to if you have a dog (they are allowed and are very kind). Rooms are big, restaurants is very nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. I will come back and can recommend!
I booked this hotel based on Trip Advisor reviews, which are obviously very good! But be careful here, not all rooms are so nice. The original room was a quite reasonable price, but in a secondary building that is kind of detached from the main resort. The room was small and looked quite dated. I was very unhappy and vastly disappointed. The staff was understanding, but said that only a suite room was available at the top of the main resort buildings. Indeed, the room looked amazing, but the price was higher than anything I ever experienced in many travels to Thailand. I was reluctantly willing to pay the cost, but the first night the air conditioning did not work and the smoke alarm batteries were low and it beeped all night long. Each day, they tried to fix the air conditioning, but it never really worked the entire trip. The bedroom would get hot and could not cool down much. Overall, it is a nice resort and the staff was friendly, but make sure you know what room you are getting or you could be very disappointed!
The location of the hotel is excellent, by the beach next to Kao Takiab which is the end of Hua Hin beach, surrounded by lush garden and mountain. The room i got was in another building which is also owned by Anantasila. The moroccan style of building with the jacuzzi on the third floor. The room is spacious and equipped with all necessary facility (bath suit, slippers, waters etc) the bed was clean and comfy. Staff are helpful and have great service mind. The only downside is that in the high season it can get super crowded in the main pool and the hotels doesn't seem to handle the hassle very well. Overall, recommended place.
Stayed at the Anantasila with my wife and 3 kids (8,4,4) over Easter. There is nothing to fault with this this place and I would highly recommend to all. The hotel and location are outstanding, the food is fantastic and the staff are just great. Special thanks to all the girls in the restaurant and A who made our kids smile all the time.
Anantasila Villa by the sea, redefined Thailand for me. I have never seen the magical and pristine part of Thailand and I saw it through this beautiful resort. It was a official conference which was broken down into a celebration and this place made it possible. Great food, great rooms, great bar, amazing people. Hua Hin as a region holds the magic of a Thailand which is true and away from the chaos , notice and the materialism we have come to believe as Thailand. Strongly recommend this place.
My Wife and I stayed for 30 Nights from Feb. to March 2017 this is the 7th time in Hua Hin. We stayed on a 3rd floor Suite with pool view. The room had two very large double beds, outside shower and a nice kitchen. The reception staff to the cleaners all Amazing and the service was excellent. The restaurant good food with a lot of choice to choose from, and not very expensive again we found the staff very helpful. The pool area is nice well planned with sun in the afternoon. We stayed mostly on the beach from 8am till 4pm; no problems finding a sunbed (note: no sunbeds on any part of the beach on Wednesdays). When we stayed we found quite a lot of plastic bags etc. in the sea, which is not very nice for swimming. The Hotel has a free shuttle services into the centre of the Hua Hin is no more than 5-10mins. Bruce will you pass this on to all your staff. Big thanks to all the staff at the Hotel who made our holiday so fantastic. I would recommend it. We will definitely be back to the hotel. Di and John.
