All perfect, Staff is amazing! Best I have ever seen

Absolutely fantastic breakfast spread. It may not be the most exotic or full service, but I have never seen such variety and well cooked food in the last 100 hotels I have stayed at. The lagoon room was wonderful the service was incredible. Easy checkin quick checkout and each restaurant was outstanding. I can say without question this is my new favourite hotel in Asia.
The hotel has a beautiful garden and great ponds. I would definitely come back there if I am in Hua Hin.
Stayed at the Anantara for 4 nights to attend a family wedding. We loved our stay! Some of the rooms had the cool windows between the bedroom & bathroom that go from frosted to clear with the flick of a switch. My daughter and nephews painted their own ceramic elephants, and had fun in the pool and walking along the beach (Note: don't expect to swim at the beach), or lounging in one of the hammocks. Small warning: watch where you step! Snails & lizards are all over walkways. The wedding was supposed to be on the beach (and the set up was beautiful), but Mother Nature had other ideas -- rain sent the ceremony indoors. The hotel staff quickly got us set up indoors and the ceremony was lovely and the food delicious! I wouldn't hestitate to stay at the Anantara in Hua Hin again.
The Anantara is a nice resort although you need to go by taxi or Tuk Tuk to the town center and for outside restaurants. The weak links are service and the restaurants. You could die of thirst waiting for a waiter by the pool area and the service is consistently slow or non-existent at all the restaurants. The menu's are also limited. You can only really walk the beachfront at low tide since the water is right up to the seawall the rest of the time.
2 star room 5 star grounds may have been a five star in its day but now needs some work. Staff was 5 Star
