I haven't been back to this hotel in Hua Hin for more than 10 years. But it was still a pleasant stay, very relaxing. Rooms are spacious and clean. Garden is nice. Swimming pool is also nice but make sure you go put a towel to reserve pool side chairs before you go to have breakfast (nice buffet style, good quality) because the chairs go very fast (especially during the week end). And enjoy a nice cocktail in the pool in the afternoon.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Great service and polite staff. Very comfortable beds and relaxing atmosphere. Let down by the cost of the food and alcohol in the hotel. They would do far better to reduce the prices so people don't have to go into Hua Hin which is a dump. Fortunately found a great restaurant a short walk along the beach (Banang Dan or something like that)

This was the best place in hua hin Away from crowd and had lots of greenery .nature is what i loved about this place .service is excellent ,their spa was good ,food was amazing ,weather is sunny so do not get any long sleeves and it away from their market and in front of the sea .they have really nice swimming pool

We have just completed a 7 x night stay in a deluxe garden room in block 4 which was central to everything that the resort has to offer Top marks to the management team as everything we wanted in terms of accommodation and service was first class - though a number of staff really stood out..."Gift" on the swim up bar really knew how to make the best cocktails and was a dream to talk to each day at 4pm , Sam the bell boy made us laugh each evening and certainly helped each time we needed a taxi whilst Kanoon kept our room spotless - Thank you and hopefully the management acknowledge you with these comments Rooms are spacious and clean with great shower facilities and nice touches each day Pool is clean and well looked after Beach is clean though small until the tide goes out Hotel shuttle into Hua Hin is always on time and taxis are cheap if you want flexiblity As a lot have stated the Hotel needs to revisit its pricing structure as its so expensive and we didn't see many people eating or drinking until "Happy hour at 4pm" then most people go into town because thus leaving the hotel very quiet at night You do have a couple of bars and restaurants outside the entrance along with a 7/11 store for essentials and we ate twice at the Baan Dun Restaurant just past 7/11 and can highly recommend this place Overall we had a great time here and would certainly have no hesitation recommending the hotel based on the above Thank you Anantara

We stayed in Anantara for the first week of our honeymoon and it was truly paradise! Our lagoon view suite was great and upgrading to a suite is definitely worth it for the perks (private pool area, complimentary evening canapes and drinks, complimentary shuttle bus to town etc). The staff were very polite and helpful, food was lovely and (if a little over priced) the thai and seafood beach buffets were a great experience. Beware reps trying to sell you time shares. We would definitely visit again.

My review is a little late... I traveled to Hua Hin with my (now) fiance in December, 2017, for xmas and new years. The hotel was one of the best places I have ever stayed. We had a garden room, which was really relaxing. The views are beautiful and the atmosphere is relaxing - you can even hear the birds sing and see (I think) possums running around. I highly recommend these rooms. We stayed for 12 nights. I proposed on this trip, which makes it even more memorable. Tor (one of the managers) was outstanding and amazing. He helped plan my proposal and arranged everything I wanted. And rather than just forgetting about us, he also made sure everyone at the hotel new that we were newly engaged and looked after us for our entire stay. I have never experienced such good customer service in my entire life and we stay at multiple 5-star hotels a year. Tor, literally, went above and beyond to make our experience amazing. We highly recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. The breakfast buffet is also incredible, as are the new years and christmas eve gala events. You literally be blown away with the amount of food and quality available.

The Anantara at Hua Hin has everything. A private beach, 2 great pools, excellent restaurants, terrific surroundings and superb staff. You don't need to venture out of the hotel but if you want to they even provide a free shuttle return service into town. We will definitely go back there.

A lovely first experience of Thailand. The room was fantastic and the big separate shower room was a lovely touch. The staff could not do enough for you. The pool was great set in trees and there was always enough sun beds to go round. One day they forgot to clean our room and immediately sorted the problem out and sent a tray of mango and sticky rice to compensate. Nice touches with their customer services. On a warning note though, to eat lunch and dinner in the hotel was very expensive as well as the drinks. We always waited until Happy hour to get our drinks (two for one) and after being charged £100 for two people for the barbeque on the beach we decided to spend the rest of the holiday eating in town. The hotel ran a shuttle bus on the hour and you could pre book your return journey before leaving. I suspect that the price difference between the hotels and the town was the same everywhere so be warned. We would definitely come back here again. Also note its far enough out of town to ensure peace and quiet

This was my first overseas trip. I did an Intrepid Tour and decided That I would like to unwind somewhere aft the tour - my travel agent booked this Resort. Upon my arrival, I felt like I was in paradise staying at this Resort. It is stunningly beautiful, elegant and I thought that I was in Paradise. Thank you Anantara for such an amazing opportunity.

For over 15 years we return to this hotel - its Thai style and very well run. The pools and gardens are wonderful. Service, food and facilities all good. The staff are very friendly and helpful and typical Thai - all smiles.
