We will definitely come back again ! Would recommend my friends, my family, newly wed couple, business man to stay at Anantara Huahin We can take song taew to go to the night market this is very convenient. Feel very safe with the quality of hotel security. The cleanliness of the room, the bed, the towel and the hotel amenities. Pliease do try and don’t miss the opportunity staying at the Anantara Huahin.
Another great time on holiday in Hua Hin. Great service from the staff and the hotel restaurants didn’t fail either. Poolside was great each day as well. Excellent room service as well. As previously mentioned, get a tuk tuk back to the hotel each night. Great experience for 200 Thai baht. (£4 to £5) well worth the money and a fun way to get home after a night out.
Very relaxed surroundings. Nice garden and breakfast was very good and a lot of variety. The room had a strange smell but was solved the next day by the hotel. They do try to upsell a lot which I didn’t appreciate.
Hi, we stayed at the Anantara for 6 nights in a Junior Lagoon Suite. The Lagoon suite is a really good deal with a much larger room in a beautiful part of the resort and includes free daily laundry and other extras most noticeable the happy hour at 17.00 - 18.00 with free drinks and canapés! Also free shuttle bus which is a bonus! There have been previous comments made about the beach or lack of it....for us it was not an issue as there is plenty of space allocated for sun loungers on the sea front and if you want a long beach walk then go to Hua Hin beach and enjoy a walk there (although as previous reviewers have said) the beach at Hua Hin is not the best cared for with a lot of debris! We ate at the restaurants on site in the main and although they are expensive for Thailand they are not expensive in comparison to the UK and the food was excellent! The staff cannot do enough to help and are very alert to any customer needs. I have two negative comments re feedback, one was an issue re tipping. The Anatara guest info book explains that tipping is not necessary unless exceptional service has been given....all the staff clearly try to provide exceptional service (Darwan deserves a special mention) and clearly do not expect a tip however we had an issue with one member of the staff who returned laundry, he was a an older male and clearly had no intention of leaving without a tip as he stood in front of the door so it could not be closed!....I found this quite intimidating and definitely not exceptional service! Other staff just very politely returned the laundry. The only other negative feedback would be that on two occasions, once at breakfast and once at the Thai food restaurant, a couple of other guests began to smoke and although I am unclear as to either the law re smoking in public in Thailand or Anantara policy but if I could suggest this could be considered by the management as to eat in a cloud of someone else’s smoke etc is really unpleasant and ruined a good meal! However overall we had a good experience and would definitely recommend, Thank you to all the staff who really worked hard to make our stay memorable!!
We always come back here because they never made us disappointed. Every staff are so kind, friendly. We feel privacy and spend our day happily. If we have a chance this is the place we select the first if we come to Huahin.
My month long stay was amazing, the facilities, the rooms, the food and the staff were all perfect. People will complain that there isn't a beach, but I knew before going that there wasn't a beach and I'm not one for beaches anyway. So if you're expecting long stretches of white sandy beaches... then this place is not for you. However, if you are expecting; amazing food, beautiful buildings and grounds, wonderful facilities and super helpful/friendly/wonderful/thoughtful/kind/accommodating staff, then this IS the place for you! To me, staff make or break a stay at a hotel, and I did not meet a single person at the resort who wasn't smiling and welcoming whenever you spoke to them. That includes the general manager Manish Jha, all the way down to the gardeners. They were all amazing. Manish was extremely helpful and accommodating during our stay, as were the other managers; Martin, Kay, Alex and Ramesh(?). All the supervisors and wait staff were fantastic as well; Mon and Dawan were super friendly and bubbly whenever we spoke to them. In Breakfast, Noey, Card, Golf, Bank, Plug, and absolutely everyone were fantastic! Always helpful, always prompt and fast with their service, and always kind and professional. The food in all of the restaurants was amazing, the variety of food and also the variety of restaurants were fantastic. Other than that, the scenery and the sunsets/rises were beautiful. When the tide is out, walking all the way along the beach for a few kilometres is a lovely walk. The rooms were in fantastic condition and always clean. Some people may complain about rooms being dark, but if you're coming to Thailand and also staying in a hotel that tries to give off a stereotypically Thai vibe, you should expect jungle like trees that you will see outside your room window, which makes for a gorgeous view. The pools are both wonderful for different reasons. The lagoon pool for peace and tranquility and the main pool for proper swimming or messing around.
Amazing time at an amazing property !! Stayed in the lagoon rooms. Were comfortable and cosy. Best part of room was the balcony over looking an immaculate garden and lagoon. Breakfast was great -lot of choice. Staff was extremely courteous and polite and one out of all stood out the most with her friendly homely and helpful attitude DAWAN !! Will return one day with the family for sure. Thanks anantara
I don't know where to start, everything was just 5*. We booked a lagoon view suite (which included a menu of drinks and snacks from 5-6 pm at the lagoon pool(bar) especially for suite-guests, daily yoga class, free shuttle to and from town at certain times and also 4 free laundry pieces a day) and we totally fell in love with the place and the staff. Beds are awesome, beautiful balcony with a "jungle-view". Breakfast is very very versatile with asian style, rice porridge, danish pastry, pancakes, waffles, salads, cheese, cold cut, different kinds of bread and spread (lots of jams to choose from), a noodle soup car, some hot dishes (like fried rice, sausages, etc.) yoghurts, cereals, fresh fruits, bacon, eggs baked while you wait and I am sure I am forgetting some stuff. I will put some pictures in, so have a look for yourself. They also have glutenfree things, if you let them know in time. Our suite had a kettle and a minibar. The pools are both nice. There is also a beach and beach chairs so you can have a view of the sea. Be aware that the sea here is not good to swim. For dinner we usually took the shuttlebus to town (prebook the times so you are sure to have a spot at a certain time) and had dinner at the sea food market. Easy and very fresh and tasty. Also some hustle and bustle around, makes a nice view while you are having dinner. Alex (chief experiences guru) can help you out if you want to go somewhere or do tours. He helped us book our next hotel. We totally loved this resort and it made us relaxed in no time. So...we totally recommend it, cannot even think of 1 negative thing. Go there and you will not regret it.
Great staff all of them, pool, beach, breakfast ,reception, maid, garden which no one mentions, and Alex who is one in a million,I would recommend this hotel to any one who enjoys the best in life, great all round holiday
