We are local and I needed a place for my parents on Christmas because my house was full of returning kids and my in-laws. The Westin was my first choice because it’s the nicest hotel in The Woodlands. The beds are so comfortable (I stayed here when my power was out after a hurricane). My parents said it’s the most comfortable bed they’ve ever been in. The area around is totally full of shops and restaurants. They enjoyed strolling along the waterway. Super location. Great, comfortable hotel just a few minutes from my house. Fantastic!

This place charges a $25 "destination fee" that is not listed on the details page of the reservation. This fee should have been included in the total price or clearly indicated on the details page. When I called the hotel to address the office, the gentleman who was the head of the front office was obnoxious and rude. This hotel is in an office park. There is nothing resort-like about being surrounded by parking garages. This is a sneaky way to treat a Marriott Bonvoy member. The place is literally on a man made ditch. That is not a "Destination"
